Casa de Indias: excellent value
Reviewed By Serge JI stayed at the Case de Indias on a hike along the southwestern coast of Spain. It was so nice that I decided to stay two nights instead of one. The hotel is, I think, a former patrician house. It has been totally renovated and the room I had, a suite, was large and nicely decorated. There was plenty of space in the bathroom and there was absolutely everything I needed. I had breakfast on my last day, with fresh fruit and a range of local baked and dairy products. I would have tried everything on offer but I had to limit myself; I did not want to gain weight on a trip meant to help me cut my speck. Staff were highly attentive. Oh, and it was really quiet a night, a luxury in this day and age. Overall, it was excellent value for money.

Good hotel in front of the ocean
Reviewed By andantesWe stayed 2 nights on easter holidays. We were 4, 2 adults and 2 kids, and choosed a family room with ocean views. The room was quit big, with a big bad as well, two double beds, frigo, and one TV set. There was a balcony, although we couldn't enjoy because it was windy. The hotel has a spa, gym, and free parking. We use the gym, wich has many options, more than enough to make some exercise. The hotel is in front of the ocean, so the views are amazing. We have breakfast, wich was quite good with plenty of options to choose from, with eggs and bacon done in front of you. Probably the quality of some products could be better, but for the price and being a 3 star hotel we didn't have any complaint.

Excellent stay in beautiful, traditional hotel
Reviewed By Yvonne MWe spent three nights in this hotel and basked in its faded glamour. The parking was easy and safe in a large car park, the garden which was filled with specimen trees and parakeets was beautiful and the pool useful for cooling off in the afternoons. A good breakfast was served outside on a very attractive terrace. Our accommodation, as was traditional in Spanish hotels, consisted of two rooms, both very large. They were slightly dark and the bed was on the hard side, but this did not detract from our enjoyment of the hotel and Puerto. It was an easy walk into the main part of town.

Shabby and run down
Reviewed By Claire BWe stayed for 2 nights and had a disappointing stay. The staff were friendly and helpful and the apartment itself was clean, but it was in desperate need of some work. Very tatty and unpleasant and a few issues such as broken and loose tiles on the floor, badly fitting light switches and filthy drinking glasses (in context of covid 19) were actually quite dangerous. We personally didn't spend much time at the property as we had other plans but had we stayed for longer or wanted to relax there this wouldn't have been possible. We would also be concerned about bringing children to the property and did highlight our concerns on check out. Hopefully these issues will be resolved soon.

Jerez aiport and Jerez High Speed Circuit are 40 minutes drive, and the cities of Jerez, Cadiz, San Fernando, Sanlucar de Barrameda and Rota around half an hour drive.
It's fine...but nothing like the website
Reviewed By Mark NMy wife and I spent two nights at the Hotel Puerto Sherry during a weekend in October. Parking is available, check-in was easy, and our room was clean. We booked a junior suite...I'm not sure the room really qualified as such. Our patio was larger than others, however it backed up against bathrooms in the hallway which we could hear when used. Breakfast was included in our room rate and was ok, however when we asked for fresh scrambled eggs the staff got them for us right away. The location is ok, there are a few restaurants in walking distance, but both Rota and Cadiz are decent drive. I think this hotel is good for functions or if you are passing through the Marina, but I wouldn't stay here if I was visiting the area again. The service at the hotel stood out, but the hotel is dated and the location is just ok.

Great staff
Reviewed By silentgimBooked in as we were taking the motor bike for some work at the nearby Harley garage which is a two minute walk away. Staff were really friendly and helpful and the room was clean with an enclosed balcony. The secure garage was great and the location is perfect for visiting Cadiz. Great value for money.

Familiar hotel located in an exclusive residential zone in Valdelagrana's beach, to 500 meters of the maritime walk. Near a precious Nature reserve. Excellent road links. Train station of surroundings and stop of Bus Cadiz and Sherry to 2 minutes walking. Stop of urban Bus to the door. The Hotel Valdelagrana's Beach possesses between his facilities comfortable beds. We have besides free Parking for our guests. His rooms are provided by TV by cable, baths deprived with hairdryer, air conditioning and individual heating, connection to Internet FREE WIFI. All that and his privileged location turn it into an ideal hotel for a few calm vacations or for the business clients.
Excellence in Playa de Valdelagrana
Reviewed By awyschAnd were are back for the 5th or 6th time! That means you get more and more for your money! By the way, the price give on the Tripadviser website is almost one third of the real price (error due to Agoda). Like usual, the rooms are spacious enough, bathroom with shower, the rooms and the bathrooms are very, very clean, the cleaning is done daily, as is the change of towels and bed linen. The staff is exceptionally nice, friendly and helpful despite the Covid19 pandemia. Pets are free of charge, free parking.

Excellent food
Reviewed By GMRGibraltarJust tried the restaurant which is 100 metres from the Hostal,and to be honest very surprised at quality of the food.Typical spanish Venta style restaurant with some very interesting plates on their menu. The Carillada and Solomillo in Pedro Ximenez was great.All home made food and service is excellent. Salad was a bit over priced but apart from that prices are reasonable for the area.

A quiet location, a nice garden

The staff was friendly and our bathroom was clean and well illuminated (the door did not close properly though). This hotel has no parking, it was a bit difficult to find a free space in a nearby street, but it was possible. The garden is beautiful, but the pool is rather small (we did not swim as there were a lot of people there already).
