Nice stop on the road

The first 2 we stayed at were not good experiences but this one restored our opinion of the chain. Spacious clean room that was very comfortable. The only thing I would say is there were less options for hot food than at the other 3 but not a show stopper.

A Real Nice Surprise
Reviewed By Eli CThe first night I was in Danville was paid for by my company, and they have Choice Rewards and they put me up here at the Quality Inn in Danville, The other 5 nights I booked at the new Hampton Inn next door. I was a little apprehensive about staying here because I have had poor experiences with Quality Inn, but when I looked this place up online I found out this was a former Hampton Inn, you can tell when you drive up and go inside that this is a former Hampton Inn. I was impressed with the upkeep of the rooms and was actually quite pleased with my stay, the beds were great. I stayed on the second floor. I did not see an indoor swimming pool here though which was a bummer for the kids. I was not happy with their breakfast, not very many choices for breakfast at this hotel. Area is safe and mostly quiet. All in all this is a pretty good Quality Inn location.

Room clean and well stocked. Beds slept very nice. Breakfast variety was well received and eating area plentiful with tables for all. Noted weight room. Conveniently located on main road also right next to river. Would stay here again!!

The floor hasn't been washed in a while.. no coffee pot in room. No phone for so called room service. Ceiling tiles were falling down. No smoke detectors. Bathroom window would not shut let alone lock. Less then a quarter roll toilet paper provided. 2 wash cloth 2 towels thin and small. Ice machine broke. Vending machines all broke. Pool was empty. Big dogs in next room braked a lot. Couples fighting in parking lot 218 am. Woke up to Clothes and shoes thrown in parking lot. This place is not safe.

Reviewed By SlovakdudeSpent the night here during NASCAR weekend in Martinsville. Only paid $85 for a night. Easy and quick check in. First walk through of the room: the place is old, needs some TLC in the cleaning department, I had to turn on the power strip for the microwave and fridge, I had to change the TV menu from Spanish then figure out how to change the input to HDMI2 to watch TV, the noise from the road was noticeable. Pros: Bathroom fixtures were updated and clean, they had 2 very large bath towels (I did pack my own just in case), anything I put in the freezer was ice cold in an hour flat, the mattress was very comfy, the pillows were adequate, and once I turned on the heat it drowned out the road noise. I slept great and was ready to hit the road running the next morning. Would I stay here again? Yes. All I can say is that if you're a fancy boy or girl who thinks roughing it is driving your SUV over someone's lawn then you probably won't like it here.

Issues with their credit card machine so had to be woken up this am at 7am so they can reprocess my card.
