Reviewed By LadiJayeAs an IHG member this holiday inn is disappointing! In October we stayed two nights; when we checked in they gave us an unclean room! We called the front desk to verify if it had been clean and the staff apologized and said “No” so they give us another room! The next day we check out, but realize we need to stay one additional night so we go and make another reservation. And believe it or not the room was “Clean” but the bathroom had NOT been touched minus the trash. To add insult to injury, housekeeping knocked and knocked and knocked with the “Do not disturbed” sign on the door. And before we could get to the door housekeeping was opening the door. When they realized someone was in there they asked for the dirty towels and handed me clean ones even though we were checking out. So we decided we just need to leave. When all this was brought up to the staff they once again apologized but nothing was done. However gentleman at the front desk calls the owner saying the housekeeper has failed to clean the room properly and is entering rooms that have yet to check out. The owner tells the gentleman well what do they want me to do about that!

Reviewed By 222deborahsWe were pleased to have an early check in for room 105. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Our room was a nice size, with plenty of room for hanging clothes, suitcases, etc. Wi-Fi and tv worked well. Kind of weird that there’s no hotel sign at the road to spot the hotel entrance. Easy to miss the driveway. Room was pretty clean. Bed was comfortable. Shower head worked well. Towels were great. Two concerns: the thing in the shower that holds bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body wash wash pulled loose from the wall & dangerously perched on the top soap dish; sugar ants and some other tiny bugs were crawling in the bathroom. Air worked well. Room was fairly quiet. Breakfast was okay. No bacon was put out, although I could smell it. No one out in that area to ask!! Coffee was good. I would prefer to NOT have pump bottles of bath products, too much of a chance of some weirdo tampering with them. I prefer individual bath products. I did appreciate the makeup remover cloths. Overall this was a good stay.

Reviewed By jcowaninvestigationsFind another hotel. This place lies about daily rates and is dishonest. Staff does not vacuum regularly and there is an odor in common areas due to water damage. I would not let my farm animals sleep in this place. Absolutely gross

Needs attention
Reviewed By Amworth6814Room was basically clean. Wifi didnt work well. The curtain keep no light out- no privacy can see in and out of our room. So couldn't sleep well room stayed to bright from outside lights since only sheers covered window.bathroom sink was dirty. Bathtub needs mat. Had to be careful not to slip. GREAT towels!. Tv controls didnt work. Could hear everything and everyone outside. Was woke up at 6am. People loading outside our room(our room was in a spot for no parking). Breakfast was about a 3 rating. At 8am not much left and waffle mix was like paste. We got 1 cup coffee each and no one was refilling anything no staff in front to ask for more. Still had 1.5 hrs before breakfast ended. Guy at front desk was very friendly at check in. Not worth $80 a night.when you go to apps or website shows should have been $65 night.beds were comfortable. Just needs little more attention to customer service. Is fine for short stay. Kitchenette is nice. We didnt need to use this but was clean and set up nicely. Rate about 3.5

Reviewed By TonyDijamcoWhile traveling on business, I had the pleasure of staying at the Cuero's Copper Inn in Cuero, TX. And I am so glad I did. Upon arriving, the first thing you can't help but notice is their ideal location just off the main road which makes the charming inn feel isolated and avoids the sound of traffic throughout the day. The lobby is gorgeous. A huge, yet still welcoming two story lobby space with the wide open dining space just beyond that. The floors in particular make the whole space light up. There is also a living room like set-up for guests to just chill and take a load off. The woman at the front desk could not have been kinder or friendlier. She got us checked in and off to our rooms after explaining all the inn has to offer. We went up the elevator, down the hall and to our rooms. If I had only one word to describe this place it would be... spacious. From the lobby to the hallways to the rooms, I was amazed just how spacious everything was in this inn. Some hotels have you managing a luggage cart down a narrow hallway to an even narrower hotel room. Not at the Cuero's Copper Inn. The wide open spaces was a nice change of pace from a lot of hotels I stay at. I was only their for one night. So, I didn't get to enjoy all the inn has to offer, but I did like having a workout room and being able to grab a quick, free bite before I checkout. I don't know when I'll be back in Cuero, TX, but I do know where I'll be staying. Thank you, Cuero's Copper Inn.

Great management and clean rooms
Reviewed By stephanie pI am very impressed with new management they have. They are very friendly and welcoming. After long day I was so tired, I didn’t even feel like going to the store to get water at night, when I told the manager she provided me with few water bottles. She certainly know how to take care of customer. I spent one night and will definitely will be staying here again.

Older Motel - Needs Improvement
Reviewed By Rev Johannes MDon't know why this was put in the B&B Section. Motel normally knows as the Sands Motel. Needs some work. The smoke detector was missing. Floor in the bathroom needs to be redone. Two layers of linoleum with holes especially near the toilet. Room could have used a paint job. The air conditioner/ heater unit barely put out any warm air. Large flat-screen tv on the wall. Even though the motel had multiple DirectTv dishes fastened above the office door, there were just 20 channels on the tv to choose from (4 were Spanish and 1 Chinese ?). To get on the wifi network, you have to ask for a room quite close to the office. There are no signal boosters around the property. At least, the bed was comfortable and there were no holes in the bedspreads, blankets, or sheets. I did not see any handicap accessible rooms. I didn't go back to the rear of the property to check the RV park but the access road to it was quite narrow. There is supposed to be a guest laundry but I didn't locate it. No breakfast provided. Coffee only when the office is open.
