Quite and clean.

Our room was very clean as was the rest of the property. Property is two story but has no elevator. The front desk clerk was very kind and helpful with suggesting places to eat and we were not disappointed. Ice machine was working and although we only stayed one night there was no 8AM knock on door from housekeeping. King bed was comfortable for me, plenty of hot water with good pressure in the oval shaped shower that I have found in most all Sleep Inns. Property is at edge of town with Arby's, McDonalds, Bojangles and Subway within walking distance. Just a little further and you will be in the down town area with shops and more food.

What a great place to come while visiting the area or riding the train. Nice comfortable rooms, good breakfast and wonderful outside seating area. Inn Keepers - the best. When looking on map , thought we could walk to the train, only half a mile - but found the half a mile was up a mountain, really just a high hill, but no problem - plenty of parking in Bryson City. Just a really pleasant stay - didn't want to leave!

My daughter and I stayed here the night before taking the train ride in Bryson City. Rooms are large and have a nice view of the river. There are chairs next to the river to relax as well as a barbeque grill. We had two beds in our room and they were very comfortable. Our room had a microwave and a small refrigerator as well as a coffee pot. The room was immaculate and the bathroom was also. Very pleasant stay and I would definitely stay here again. So nice to park your car and have just a short walk to your room! Don't hesitate to book this motel!!

I have stayed here in the past and was ok. This visit was terrible. Very out dated. The floor felt like it would fall in any minute. The only thing going for it is the porch out back overlooking the water. Will not stay here again.

Nice no frills old motel

Reviewed By Joseph B

The Two Rivers Motel is half way between Bryson City and Cherokee on old US 19 and sets at the confluence of two rivers, thus the name. Blaine and Cathy are the on site owners keep a quiet, clean and comfortable "mom and pop" motel with no frills. The rooms are comfortable but not richly furnished. But you should get a good nights rest. Behind the motel next to the river is a a picnic area with a fire pit, grills and tables. Around desk you may catch the small herd of elk walking through and their way to a field for the night. In addition there are geese, otter, beavers and other wildlife to enjoy, You will have to go to either Bryson City or Cherokee for meals, both about five miles away. If you don't need frills, just a comfy place to stop for one or several days, I recommend it. I will be a frequent guest hill on my motorcycle travels in the mountains.

Clean and comfortable, great location

First of all, I am not a big fan of motels. BUT this motel is in a great location for the Polar Express, which is why we stayed here. Super walkable with our littles to restaurants and the train. I was skeptical when I checked in, but the room was clean, the cleaning between nights was great and the beds were actually comfortable. We stayed in a suite and our kids loved it. My minuses: I was a little irritated that they charged us $30 for having 3 kids/2 adults in our room but didn't include anything extra (not even towels!!) for that fee. Also, it was FREEZING outside but the front office didn't answer the door when we were seeking a hair dryer so I went around town for two days with wet hair. Just put the $15 hair dryer in the room! C'mon!

Tail of the Dragon Yearly Trip

Our VW group makes Sanjay’s Ridge Top Inn hotel the main hotel for our yearly VW event. We have been coming here for 11 years now. Sanjay and his family run a great small town motel. And every year we see something that they have improved on with the hotel. This is a basic roadside motel though, and not a sterile, cookie cutter corporate hotel chain. The location and the views from the Motel are wonderful. If your looking for a solid local experience and something off the beaten path, Ridge Top Inn is your place.

Check your reservation

Reviewed By Farmerfam97

We booked a reservation for this hotel about four months ago. When we arrived at Gracey Manor Friday night, we were told there was no record of our reservation because a former employee left and took the computer and records of reservations with them. The manager offered us an upstairs area with two bedrooms and one bathroom. She did try to help but the area smelled strongly of smoke and we were not comfortable having one bathroom for four people. I would highly recommend that you confirm your existing reservation before making the trip.
