Excellent location and decent quiet suite

Reviewed By VS298

We had a dining/kitchen area with a half wall, behind which was the bedroom area and shower. So quite spacious, and just at the beginning of town. It was clean and simple, the only downside was the strange bed (large, but with a definite "hill" in the middle and two very small hollows on each side where you could sleep!) and the odd parking which was out of synch with the room from doors. Otherwise, off-season this is a good pick.

Clean room

Nice enough rooms. I was in a queen spa room. Comfortable bed but lots of light coming though the window at night (bring your eye mask). Clean rooms. Perfect location if you have a car but a bit of a long walk home from town at night after dinner otherwise.

Great old world Broken Hill history

What a place. This building takes you back to way things used to be with everything you require. Apartment for family or single/double rooms. Walking distance to the main street, pubs, cafes and restaurants. Bottle shop across the road. We didnt have time to use the pool as inviting as it looked or the 'man cave' with full size billiard table. Spacious rooms, comfy beds and great hosts ( Craig and Cath ). Highly recommended.

Great park in Broken Hill

Reviewed By Sharon371

Lovely modern caravan park. It’s 14km out of town, but feels secure and everything is there. Wonderful clean amenities, plus a bar and restaurant. We had a great time around the outdoor fire pit which the staff organised. Only negative is the electricity supply needs to be more reliable. Would stay here again.

Good quality for the cost

Reviewed By chrissyj411

Hotel was fair for what it cost. Pretty standard for that part of the world. Will always be my first choice for trips out west due to proximity to restaurants and the CBD Walking distance to a number of things which is handy. Car parking a little disappointing as it normally fills up by mid afternoon.

Ibis Styles Broken Hill

Ibis Styles Broken Hill is centrally located in the heart of the CBD. We are part of the Accor Hotel Group and we are known as the economy brand of the group. As part of your room rate we offer a FREE Continental Breakfast for you to start the day. Of course if this is not substantial enough you are more than welcome to select from our priced Breakfast Menu to top you up for the day. Wi-Fi does attract a surcharge unless you are an Accor Hotels member in which it is free and we do have sign-up forms to join. We are continually upgrading to add to our guests comfort.

Does not do justice to the name of the chain

Reviewed By robertsJ9951UB

Ibis Styles in Broken Hill appear to be a motel converted and adapted as far as possible to fiit the Ibis profile of services. The two rooms we occupied for 4 nights were tiny and quite unsuitable for occupancy by two adults. The rooms are kept clean and well supplied. The on-site restaurant served a very tasty dinner and free wi-fi is provided.

Cancelled our Booking

Reviewed By John W

Due to a conference in Broken Hill accommodation was at a premium and we were forced to book in here in desperation. After collecting our key and walking to our room we cancelled our booking regardless that we did not receive a refund. The property is a back packer hostel and should not be advertising as a hotel/motel. Our room was very small, with 2 single beds, an air conditioner in the window and an open wardrobe. Carpet was originally red in colour but was so threadbare that mutiple sections of black backing showed through. The shared bathroom for ? rooms was down the hall and around the corner. Parking was available in the main street without any security. Pricewise why pay this price when for only a few more dollars you can get a motel/hotel room with kettle, TV and ensuite plus breakfast included. If you are a backpacker then this is probably suitable with a communal kitchen, communal lounge etc. In fact it reminds me of staying in country hotels in the 1950/60's.
