Luke has given the best service we have received here at the Meriton Broadbeach in the 10th are we have been staying. The young lady Jodie was very very rude and made my husband feel like he was an invalid. We will be back but only because of Lukes Service.

Love Broadbeach and this is close to the lively hub and an easy walk to Pacific Fair shopping complex, as well as casino and Convention centre. There's a lot of tired old hotels about, this is not one of them well worth it!

Great Location, close to everything
Reviewed By Kim HSo many choices for accomodation however I chose Ultra Broadbeach Resort for my 13 night stay visiting from Perth and my first visit to Queensland. Was very impressed with everything, staff were very helpful and friendly, location was perhaps one of the best, a 5 min walk to Pacific Fair and a 5 minute walk to Oasis Shopping centre for essentials. My room was 504 and was clean and well fitted, no complaints at all, a comfy bed, lovely balcony which I never got to use as the weather from 9-22 May was wet, wild n windy, so disappointing. Hospitality was great, dur to the weather I did some home cooking and made the best of it. Again very happy with everything at Ultra Braodbeach and a special thanks to the girls at reception

Reviewed By cathys75I stayed here a few years ago so was excited about coming back. I will never stay here again. I got electric shocks from the light switches and power points (all covered with dust). Staff didn't seem to care. I had to wash all of the cutlery, crockery and pans before I used them as they were all dirty. The bed had dead insects in it. The bathrooms looked like they have never been washed. Clean towels had other people's hair on top of them. The washing machine had built up detergent in it and rubbish all around it. Never been cleaned. Curtains had about 5mm thick of dust on top of them. Furniture had gaffa tape holding it together. No batteries in the remotes.

Guests have access to 2000 MB of free WiFi per day. All our 1 and 2 bedroom apartments at Island Beach feature a full kitchen and separate laundry. The living area has a TV, and direct dial telephone. Island Beach Resort is close to the Gold Coast Convention Centre, Star Casino and Pacific Fair Shopping centre. Kurrawa Surf Club and a variety of restaurants and supermarkets are a short walk away 200 metres Light Rail and Beach. Broadbeach is a great choice for travellers interested in restaurants, food and cafés. Everything Broadbeach has to offer is only a couple minutes walk. Couples particularly like the location — they rated it 9.0 for a two-person trip.

Reviewed By GiswitchPros: Perfect location. Clean and well managed. Reasonably priced. Nice spa and pool. Cons: There's no escaping the fact that it's noisy. Not only that but the drilling from the nearby construction site causes the building to vibrate. Our room was a bit dated but others may not be as apartments like these are often individually owned.

Infested! Zero care factor

Had to decontaminate everything and got out of there fast as I could, Lucky to find emergency accommodation elsewhere on a weekend. Terrified my bags were contaminated and some hitched a ride home. Obvious that this is an ongoing problem not adequately addressed. Zero care factor from desk staff. Never got an apology or anyone contact me for follow up, or damage control, offer a refund, not a peep. Had to chase up refund- thankfully Booking.com was very helpful and made sure this happened but took a couple of weeks. I think I got PTSD and now I think this might happen at any other holiday stay and imagine every speck is a bug! Should be shut down until the body corporate get pest control to treat the whole complex as they spread quick like ants. Its so old it should be gutted out and refurbished. Wish I could give negative stars

Reviewed By 360maxinesWould not recommend staying here Air conditioner didn’t work so got given another room then air conditioner didn’t work in room during night freezing cold in 1 room boiling hot the other , no spare blankets in cupboards , so had to use a towel to keep warm . Noisy kept awake with a party in next room so barely got any sleep. When u need to call reception it goes to a mobile phone which they barely answer . The car park is a night mare One way up one way down very small a accident waiting to happen . So over priced and when asked for compensation they do nothing to help u . The photos on website don’t do this place any justice .

Awful cheap furniture - substandard apartment 1408

I’m not sure whether it’s indicative of the hotel but the room was very disappointing. 1) awful cheap furniture - really ugly dull decor too along with cheap made it very sub standard The bedside tables were awful as well as the cheap and tacky lamps. Was appalled. 2) hotel was nice and clean however and beds comfortable 3) no teacups in kitchen 4) no tv in bedroom ? Very stark - would hate to spend a week in such a badly furnished place. Was here for a conference so had no time to view the facilities but would certainly be avoiding this unfortunate neglected and fugly furnished room!
