Exceptional Lunch

I came to the Sandbar with my kids & husband and we all loved it so much! There was music and liveliness and this place is a cute little shady oasis with an amazing patio atmosphere. The food was delicious too- Cecily, our server, was so precious and sweet and accommodating- she went above & beyond and it felt so nice, like being treated ❤️ Situated right along the river, I also thought about how this would be a great place to take a friend from out of town or have a business lunch.

Great Stay at The Grove!

Reviewed By lizlsw79

Found a great rate on a third party site for a Thursday night. Wanted to stay close to the Boise VA to be there early for a 6am surgery. Our room was on the 8th floor and looked out onto the 4th floor outdoor patio, and capitol boulevard. Great view, and quiet. The beds were very comfortable. Got a wake up call at 4am, hubby needed his coffee, couldn’t get the in room machine to work. We called down to the front desk and told them of our dilemma, they brought him up two cups with creamer within 5 minutes! He was very appreciative of that! We had to leave to get to the VA at 530am, and we were apprehensive about getting in and out of the parking garage. The staff at the front desk were very helpful and called down to the garage to have someone standing by to help us get out if we needed it. That was a great relief! We would definitely stay here again.

Quiet Rooms and Oh So Close to the Airport

Reviewed By Dollarman

The four of us stayed here with rooms 157 and 159 which face outside towards the airport. I would say the rooms are of medium size and have a refrigerator. There is no microwave in the room but the one in the breakfast area is available any time you need it. I would say my mattress was semi-firm and my room had two smaller size beds. The ice machine is a couple of doors down to the right when looking at your room door from the parking lot. As for a work area, such as getting plenty done on your laptop, it is a bit small … at least for me. Plenty of options for breakfast; waffles, cereal, scrambled eggs, scrambled eggs with cheese, toast, etc. There were plenty of condiments such as hot sauce and ketchup. We all found the food tasty. I am not a coffee drinker so I cannot comment on the coffee. If you like Indian food, one of the best amenities is Saffron Indian Bar and Grill which is 1.2 miles away and 3 min away by car. In addition, if your flight gets delayed like mine did and you don't want to take a cab for the short distance from baggage claim to this hotel, it is an easy walk, about 6-8 minutes.

Just passing thru

We were passing thru on a cross-country move. We needed a hotel that was pet-friendly, easy to access, and included breakfast. The staff were friendly and the hotel was clean. It's not a brand new hotel, but it had everything we needed. Breakfast could have had a few more options, but we're also still sort of in a pandemic. Ours was a short visit, but I would stay again.

A well rounding Hotel

Reviewed By kiamedina13

I have always frequented the Holiday inn Express in Boise for my monthly hotel stays. However, this time I switched it up and decided to stay at the Hyatt Place. 10/10 recommend. The bed is comfortable, the room was clean, I had a decent sized living room area with a very comfy sectional pull out couch. The breakfast is a little below par, but I didn't mind too much as I don't eat breakfast often. The Coffee Studio right next door has such a cute seating area with a to die for Lavendar Latte! I will be switching from the Holiday Inn Express to Hyatt Place from here on out!

Very comfy beds and quiet

Reviewed By Becky H

The beds and pillows were great. And very quiet, and nice that they allow service dogs. Only complaint is that shower water never got hot. And I had read a review several months ago that complained that the pool and hot tub were not warm/hot. This has not been fixed still.
