The Hotel "de La Plage" ( a three stars hotel) is wonderfully located just in front of the oean and the beaches, near the Harbour for the cruise for the famous Isle of Sein. This very comfortable hotel offers very nice rooms, equipped with a new bedding, wifi, spacious and well equipped bathrooms. Some rooms have balconies and loggias with panoramic ocean views, others have a view of the countryside. Its large lounge with pool table and cocktail bar with house cocktails, fish and seafood restaurant facing the ocean (menu and menus offering, for example, seafood platter, grilled lobster with butter churn and Wild herbs, the back of cod in the crust of potato scales, hot oysters with champagne in sabayon, scallops in skewers, nuts of veal farmer with morels, fresh pear poached with spices and ice cream With verbena, fondant with chocolate and its coulis with arabica coffee ...). Tasty breakfast buffet overlooking the sea! Room service on request. Reviewed By Nichola649Nearing the end of an amazing weeks stay in this hotel. Location to the beach means wonderful sea waves can be heard from our room. Very hardworking owner and their team provide an exceptional experience to everyone. Room always kept tidy and clean. Friendly staff and owner. Food is very good with a good wine list. Restaurant over looks bay and everyone during their stay does get to have a window Seat, as you don’t always get the same table each evening which is a good and fair way to do it. Will certainly be coming back.

Wonderful re-visit after 30 years
Reviewed By jerry728Having had a wonderful memory for many years of a visit to Audierne and this great hotel, I wondered if I would be disappointed with an 'anti-climax' upon my return. The fact that the weather was incredibly good for late October set the scene for another memorable couple of nights. The location (between the busy port and the stunning 'plage' around the corner) was every bit as stunning as I remembered. Add to this wonderful service, fantastic food and the views from our balcony, and the whole experience made us extremely happy.

Welcome to L'Auberge du Cabestan***. Our hotel-restaurant is situated in Audierne within 2km from the port of Audierne, the beaches and the pier to the island of Sein. Our 17 bedrooms, recently renovated are all equipped with en suite bathroom with shower or bath/shower, solid wood furniture, high quality beddings, TV and Wifi internet access. They all have a view either on to the garden or the beautiful 16th c. Church of Esquibien.

The owners, Eric and Marie-Noelle and their lovely dog Sirius, did everything possible to make our stay comfortable, provided us with all the necessary information about the area and sights, and most importantly, gave us the warmth of their home and hearts. The hotel is very cozy, quiet, with a summer garden and a view of the old church. All attractions, beaches, historical towns are located very close to the hotel. Special thanks to Marie-Noelle and Eric for the delicious food with local products prepared by Marie-Noelle, for interesting and informative conversations, we learned a lot about Brittany, its people, history, cuisine. I will definitely return to this hotel, where you feel at home.

A Seaside Gem
Reviewed By Don WThis is a real gem of a property located next to a wide sweeping sand beach and close to the quaint town of Audierne. Access is easy and parking is free and secure on the property. The room is large and comfortable and features a fantastic terrace overlooking the sea. The double bathroom is as big as the bedroom. Hosts Emanuelle and Chantal could not be more friendly and helpful and are a great source of useful information about the local area.

Comfortable, cozy, extremely nice and friendly service, also very good restaurant
Reviewed By vsop-50We booked a Superior room, which, in addition to a (very comfortable) bed gave us a couch, an additional chair as well as a balcony with a table and terrace seats. Very good shower facilities in a modernized bathroom. There is a refrigerated mini bar which we partly used to chill some of our own food and drink. We ate once in the restaurant (booking in advance recommended) - very well prepared food, including some quintessential classic dishes like sole meuniere. On the first floor is a fairly large lounge area with comfortable chairs and some magazines, so you were not always tied to your own room. Due to Covid restrictions we needed to pick a time slot for our breakfast but that was not an issue. The breakfast itself was buffet style, but well organized and mandatory wearing of mouth masks when moving around to get your food. But the nicest aspect of all was the friendlyness of all the staff, from the receptionist (who spoke excellent English) to the serving staff in the breakfast area and the restaurant. There is no customer parking, but usually there are plenty of free parking spots along the harbour boulevard within 30 meters of the hotel. All in all, very recommended for an old-fashioned full service stay.

Reviewed By pghc32Pleasant apartment, but poorly equipped kitchen, inc no kettle. The company only provided one set of bedding, so we were missing three, as well as towels. They never replied to messages on their contact numbers or email. No answer on the phone numbers. Booked through homeaway.com who were contactable, but had to go through multiple call handlers repeating the same information as they kept on passing us to another agent.. They also couldn’t manage to get in contact with Maeva Particuliers. They said rather than wait on the phone, they would call me back, but never have.
