Fantastic Stay at a Super Clean Hotel!
Reviewed By lorid195We were quite impressed with this hotel! This hotel was recently refurnished - everything is brand new except the elevator and laundry room as we were told. The rooms have a modern look, with great furnishings and very comfy beds. We liked the lighting fixtures and how some glow like night lights - that was a cool feature! Room was super clean!! After working in the hotel industry for 34 years, the first thing I do is inspect our room. Not one hair on bedding and no sticky floors! Cleanliness was an A+! Breakfast was awesome and our family loved the signature cinnamon rolls! Also, liked having the choice of turkey sausage as well as regular. Service was excellent! Check in was smooth with Josh and BeBe was awesome in taking care of late arrival for some family members. She has a great personality! We also appreciated the late check out for a couple of our rooms due to babies needing naps. Our family had 4 rooms at this hotel while we were in the area attending a funeral. All of us commented on what a fantastic hotel stay we had and how it had exceeded our expectations! This hotel is a winner in our books!

A One Night Stay
Reviewed By BusymomoftwinsWe chose to stay at Comfort Inn of Athens, Tennessee because we needed a night of rest before continuing our trip to Pigeon Forge. The beds were suitable, but the pillows were not as comfortable as we would have liked. Since we arrived so late, we did not get to enjoy the pool area. We also slept in past the breakfast hour, so we cannot testify to the breakfast quality or options. However, the room certainly suited all of our needs for one night, so we would return if we were ever in the area again.

Reviewed By hrusse801490If cleanliness matters to you, do not stay here. One of the grossest hotel rooms I have ever stayed in. If it hadn't been late and I wasn't already exhausted, I would have rebooked elsewhere. 2 hotels in same building, Days Inn is owned by same people that own Super8.

Reviewed By Neil DClean room. Very comfortable bed. Good service. We have stayed here many times and have always had friendly service and nice rooms. Was good to see that they had the pool opened. On a main street but don't have that much noise.

The Hampton Inn Athens hotel is located on the west side of downtown Athens, Tennessee right off the I-75 exit between Knoxville and Chattanooga. Local attractions near this Athens hotel include the Mayfield Dairy Farm Tour, Watts Bar Lake, Tennessee Weselyn College, Chattachoochee National Forest and the Tennessee Overhill Heritage. The Athens, Tennessee Hampton Inn features a beautiful three story atrium lobby with two fireplaces. The hotel rooms are filled with amenities including a coffeemaker, iron, ironing board and hair dryer, as well as complimentary high-speed internet, local phone calls and cable TV with movie channel. Guests can request a king study room with refrigerator, a two room Executive Suite, connecting rooms and laundry and valet services. Rollaway beds are not permitted in double bed rooms.

Reviewed By 2013CTBTraveling over Memorial Day weekend- The hotel staff was friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, this weekend children's sports teams were staying in the hotel. So the kids were loud, as kids are, and banged everything, floors, doors, and walls. Nothing to the point where management would have to step in, but nonetheless annoying to the other guests. The sleeping experience was good(other than the 11 pm banging and see the note about eastern facing windows and blinds), and everything was spotlessly clean. Hot Breakfast food was served nicely, staff person stayed on top of things to make sure everything was kept filled. Very particuylar about making sure all the tables were wiped down and cleaned. While I didn't use the outdoor pool a number of people did and seemed to enjoy it. Also neat and clean.

Reviewed By worldtraveler952015The staff are so kind and helpful. The breakfast is good, and the coffee and hot water are available 24/7. The rooms have microwaves, coffee makers, fridges. They do need extra kleenex and toilet paper available inside the rooms though. And they need complimentary water bottles inside the rooms too. Overall, wonderful place and people. Clean and newer too. Fitness room was nice too.

Quick Overnight Stay Ok
Reviewed By RickyDewayneThis place was ok for an overnight stay. It did need some deep cleaning on the outside & inside of the rooms. I really wasn’t impressed with the place but it was, like I said, ok for an overnight stay. I didn’t like, even though it was returned to me, having to leave a $25 deposit after I paid for the room. If you just want an overnight stay or a quicky, it’s an ok stay for you.
