Reviewed By Linda MI don’t really want to tell anyone, but here goes it’s just a gem you have to go, I sent a message for an evening meal, we didn’t arrive till gone 10 at night due to a delay, but they still did us the meal, and it was all delicious, the price was good too in our opinion. The pudding was home made, and I am dreaming of it again, so I have re-booked just to have the pudding, creme caramel, it is made with a special local cheese, mmm I cannot wait, so I have already booked it. The area about 5/10 mins from the centre of Santander is beautiful, this will become my favourite stop off on the way to the sun.

Reviewed By GiselaviajeraBeautiful hotel, in a historical building. The staff will make you feel like home. The building is espectacular, completely refurbished. The rooms and bathrooms are very big and very well and nicelly furnished. The garden is full of peace, with plenty of space to sit and relax or have a nice cup of tea. Good breakfast. They also have two wonderfull restaurants and it is the best place for dinner ( menu of the day or tapas) The hotel is in a small town, but near Laredo, the Cabarceno Park, Santoña, Santander, and other nice towns of Cantabria. It is easy to find. The hotel has private parking. The hotel is pet friendly.

The establishment is located in the historical center of Isla,43km far from Santander, in a high place from which there are spectacular views of sea and mountain. It possesses 7 double rooms, (2 special and 5 standard). All of them possess a comfortable common equipment: balcony, heating, Tv LCD with radio, connection wifi free, Baths with hydromassage air and water (special rooms with tub for 2 people), radiators - towel racks, cozy furniture that combines comfort and details with captivation. Posada is dark and not comfortable
Reviewed By Noel012014The room we were first given was very small, we asked for a better room and were given the only room at the front with a terrace. The terrace is very small and overgrown with vines and the room is dark even with the lights on. The bathroom is adequate. The hallway and interior of the Posada is also very dark and dreary. The beds are not comfortable. All Posadas are usually very old buildings but we have stayed in some lovely bright buildings. This was not one. We were booked for 9 nights but could not stay longer than 4 nights. When we informed the owner he refused to return even a small amount of the money for the remaining 5 nights. The attached Taverna is really nice and the staff of the Taverna are very helpful (apart from the owner). The area is rural with lovely walks and also very close to Noja town.

No tengo palabra para agradecer a Ana y Ramón todas las atenciones que han tenido con toda mi familia. Somos deos adultos y dos niñios. Una atención del primera, siempre atentos a nuestra necesidades y muy colaborativos Los apartamentos son una cucada, preciosos y limpios. Bien equipados. Ubicación al pie del monte Cincho, un mar de tranquilidad y aire limpio. Ideal para desconectar y recorrer toda la comarca. Y claro que repetiremos, todas las veces que haga falta. Reviewed By velo64La Usla ce sont plusieurs plages , soit sous forme de petites criques ou plus longues plages de sables blancs , le tout entouré de rochers qui lui donnent du relief . Tous les restaurants sont à proximité des plages , une aire de jeu pour les enfants et des parkings. Je recommande vivement

Worst Hotel in Spain
Reviewed By geslinI can honestly say this is the worst "hotel" we have ever stayed in. We had what can only be called a seedy room where many things such as the door lock, the bath, the shower, the loo seat and the window were broken. The place has absolutely no air conditioning so at 36 degrees our room was stifling. The floor was filthy and covered in sand and the staff seemed to be mostly young children. There was nowhere to have breakfast so it had to be brought to you room (after 9am, not when you wanted it!). It consisted of a slice of white bread toast, coffee in a paper cup, one dried up croissant between the two of us and a bottle of orange juice. The walls were paper thin so there was constant noise from other guests coming in very late. The bath did not drain so the second person having a shower was up to their shins in water. To cap it all, after giving this hotel a poor review on Booking dot Com we were sent a note saying we had been a no-show - basically so our review would not appear next to their name. Very suspect behaviour! What a hole!
