Reviewed By YiftaThe amazing hotel is a 15-minute walk from the city center. Those arriving at the hotel have a free valet parking service, which takes care of luggage on arrival. The rooms are large and cozy. Breakfast is very good with a variety of options. The air conditioning is not active in winter despite the hot days and the entrance to the spa requires payment (also for hotel guests). However, the hotel is recommended due to its special character and winning location

We really enjoyed the delicious breakfast buffet experience. We would definitely stay there again if we visit Annecy in the future. Not too far away really from Lake Annecy and the wonderful old town of Annecy to find restaurants, bars and shops.

Reviewed By Joanna GOur stay was fabulous - the staff went above and beyond, really friendly and kind. Our room was lovely and the bed really comfortable. The pool was gorgeous- so clean and the sun beds really comfortable. The cocktails were great, as was the wine and beer. It was a great location for the town and the nearby beach to swim in the lake. Our only regret is we forgot to tip the amazing staff at the end of our stay. We’ll be back for sure - thank you!

To arrive at 2.45pm and be told you couldn’t have any food or drink until your room would be free at 4pm was not a good start. And then to be told you would only be able to order from the snack room menu and would have to eat any food apart from breakfast in your room and not outside was very disappointing. To be honest I was shocked we hadn’t been contacted by email in the week before our arrival to explain the issues, and even more shocked they seemed to expect us to stay the entire four days. Plus we paid over €300 for the first night, as we had too far to travel to leave on the day of our arrival.

Spacious and comfortable
Reviewed By andrewcA8279EISmart modern hotel. Unusually large rooms, which were comfortable, well-equipped and peaceful. Large car park and we were able to park the car within sight of our rooms. Buffet breakfast was very good. The hotel is situated several kilometres from Annécy in a rather sterile and characterless area, but we were able to find a super restaurant close by - see my separate review. The location does have the benefit of ease of access from the autoroute, which avoids the need to drive into Annécy town centre other than for sightseeing.

Reviewed By leemwarrenI recently stayed in the ibis Annecy Centre Vieille Ville, and although overall the stay was great, I sadly have to give a 1 star review due to an incident with a member of staff which has left me with a really negative view of the Accor brand. I have been a loyal customer for many years now, with already more than 15 nights stay this year in Accor hotels. The incident happened as I went down to the bar area to use the Welcome Drink voucher I receive with my membership status. I requested a bottle of beer for myself and a bottle of Schweppes tonic for my partner. Initially the barman had to check my details as no actual vouchers are issued in this hotel, and my name was not on the list provided. All fine, but he started with his aggressive demeanour advising that I must have booked after the list was made. I let this ride even though I booked over 6 weeks prior to arrival. I was then told that I could not have the bottled beer as it was only tap beer with the voucher. I said this was fine, but simply advised that in all other hotels I have stayed, my choice has never been limited like that. At this point he basically told me I was lying and that I could never have any drink I like. Again, I did not want to get into a discussion and I accepted the draft beer and was simply making a comment as part of a conversation. He told me twice more that this would not and could not ever happen. This was followed by another discussion over the bottle of Schweppes for my partner where he again in an aggressive manner advised that the welcome drink was only valid for 1 drink. And so, I explained that this has never been the case in any of my stays including all recent stays in Geneva, Bordeaux, Paris, Lucerne, Strasbourg, and Frankfurt. And once more, the barman aggressively told me that this could not be true and that I was obviously lying and trying to pull a fast one. I told him to forget about the small bottle of Schweppes then, as I was not going to pay extra for this. I drank a mouthful of my beer and handed it back advising that I was not going to drink alone. This followed another rude and sarcastic comment by the barman saying that I do not have to drink alone, I could buy another drink. I just had to walk away and out at this point as I was getting really furious with his attitude and accusations against me. I have never experienced such appalling customer service at any of my other stays in Accor hotels, but this has l

The only negative was the lack of room amenities ie: they had paper cups, no milk and not a well designed shower room. But all over a very positive experience.

Reviewed By vitadelmondoThis hotel has everything. It is 2 miniutes' walk from the railway station but it is quiet. The staff was efficient and friendly, and really went out of their way to help guests: one night I did not like what Annecy restaurants had to offer and so bought some food from the supermarket and the staff kindly helped me to heat it up. The breakfast at the hotel offered cold cuts, eggs and cheese together with the usual patries.

Reviewed By sandstorm871Used the hotel a few days ago (Feb 22) on a drive home from a ski holiday back to the UK. It's close to all the tourist spots (5-10 minute walk) and parking in the nearby public car park was fairly easy - Its a 1-minute walk from the hotel, they give a voucher 1 free overnight, then it €1.10 for every hour extra that you stay. The hotel is very basic (which si what we wanted & expected), but the staff were welcoming and the rooms were clean and comfortable.
