Reviewed By AmourdeusStayed for 2 nights, got the comfy double room by the road. Very convenient location - right off Exit 9 of Formosa Station and literally steps away from Liuhe Night Market. Showers always with warm and strong water. Nice and approachable staff, too. And I will stay there again should I have that opportunity to visit KHH in the future:)

Nice hostel in a great location
Reviewed By adamupdateAhiruyah is a really nice hostel in a really good location. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hostel is quite small, but has some really nice and useful amenities. Despite the size, the bathrooms are quite large. Note that the bathrooms aren't private. Instead there's two communal bathrooms, one for women and the other for men. There's also a TV area, balcony and washing machine. Towels are included. I stayed in the shared male dorm. Each bunk had a lamp, power socket and a privacy curtain. There were lockers (though quite small) and air conditioning in the room. Despite the mattress being rock hard, I had one of the best sleeps I've ever had in a hostel across the two nights I was there. Another great feature of the hostel is it's location. It's a few minutes walk from Formosa Boulevard station. It's also one block away from Liuhe Night Market. I'd recommend Ahiruyah if you're in need of a hostel in Kaohsiung.

With Inn Hostel has one suite for double room and 4~6 bed female/male/mix room. With Inn Hostel has dining area, modern open kitchen, sofa reading area, garden and balcony. Our location is close to MRT Central Park Station (R9), it only takes 3 minute by walk. With Inn Hostel is in the heart of city, many restaurants, department store, shopping area around. You can enjoy the humanities and relax life in the With Inn Hostel.
Very Helpful Owner/Desk-Person
Reviewed By ArgentineTraveller6I recently came back from a month of traveling around Taiwan, and the With Inn hostel in the city of Kaohsiung stood out — among the other places I stayed — for having an owner/desk person that was over-the-top helpful. She regularly went out of her way to make sure I knew where I was going (drawing maps, making calls, etc). [I wasn’t traveling with a smart phone, and so I really needed her help.] And of course the hostal is very clean, reasonably new (in terms of construction), and very conveniently located (very close to the “Central Park” metro station (Exit 2)). I can not recommend it highly enough. It has five dorm rooms and one double room. [I paid NT$ 500 a night for a bed in the dorm; I don’t know how much the double room costs.] It is owned by a young husband and wife couple, and the wife seemed to be on-site (with her very young daughter) nearly all of the time. And, as I said, she was REALLY helpful to me.* _____________________ * Okay, most hostel desk people are reasonably helpful. And Taiwan is full of very friendly people anyway (a large proportion of which can speak English). But I stayed in some hostels on this latest trip in which the front desk person was often not there (there’s just a note and a phone number); and there were some in which the front desk person is a lot more interested in playing with his iPhone than he is in helping find a good place to eat, or the connections to the next city and a hostel there, etc. At this With Inn hostel, the wife (of the couple that own the place) was there every time I needed her, and — as I said — she went way out-of-her-way to help me every time I asked. She was remarkable about this (which is why I’m remarking about it).

Reviewed By SatsukiwongLocated in Formosa boulevard mrt and in front of exit one which it at 6th floor. Value for money, safe and clean environment. Staffs are nice and helpful. It was satisfied for me as a solo traveller. Walk around 10mins to Liuhe night market.

Bathroom facilities are not bad but can be improved. Not sure if towels are being rented but they are not provided. Excellent choice for a short stay.

Reviewed By Maria MNo idea, how this place can get this good review. When I arrived I had to ring twice until the manager or whoever checked me in (younger guy) opened the door. I obviously had just waked him up. While I was watching a video about the hostel rules, he went into the bathroom next door. Since he didn’t close the door, I could hear him peeing. No hand washing either. And then it was dirty. Like literally everywhere - dust, hair, the mirrors smeared. Ok, it was around lunchtime and maybe they still have to clean so I decided to come back later. But even when I came back at night you could see that nothing had changed - it looked exactly the same. So I gave him the chance to clean, but even after that, I felt disgusted. Above all, the guy has an extremely bad attitude and was literally complaining that he ‘had to clean’ his hostel. The older man on the other hand seemed really friendly.

Reviewed By yucki友人とファミリールームに宿泊しました。 ロケーションは駅からも夜市からも近くとても良いです。ただ、見た目が普通の民家なので、最初分からずにうろうろしていました。 宿のおばちゃんが出てきて声をかけてくれたので助かりました。 民宿みたいな形式なので、オーナー一家ののリビングを通って部屋に上がっていく感じ。 部屋は綺麗ですが、なぜか初日は冷蔵庫の電源が入らなかったのと（その後復活しました）部屋は毎日掃除してくれて、水も毎日1人一本貰えるのに、バスタオルとバスマットの交換は有りませんでした。せめてずぶ濡れになったバスマットの交換だけでもしてくれたらもう少し評価が上がったのに、という感じです。 I stayed at the family room with my friend. The location is very good. Near station, near night market. But, at first, it was hard to find because the building looks like just a private house. The room was very cute and bed were comfortable hardness. And, staff cleaned our room and searved bottled waters each for us everyday but they didn't change bed sheet, bath towel and bath mat. I wonder if the bath mat would be changed everyday because it got soaking wet.
