Qadlao Hostel is a humble accommodation located at the heart of Coron. It is very accessible to all tourist spots in town. It offers the basic traveller needs; airconditioned rooms, comfortable beds, clean toilet and shower, coffee and wifi. :)

Reviewed By dodoypIt’s a new hostel located within the town cebter, very close to everything but distant enough for a quite and comfy place to stay. There rooms are airconditioned and they have a couple of 4-person bedroom and one 6-person bedroom. They wifi worked out quite fine. The place were spotlessly clean and the people are helpful. Would love to stay again on my next visit.

Reviewed By perrineh835Auberge située dans une petite ruelle, uniquement les tricycles peuvent accéder donc pas trop de bruits. La chambre était petite mais propre, pas de rangements. La propriétaire est très gentille et arrangeante, nous avons eu la chambre à 8 heures du matin. Prevoir une multiprise car une seule prise électrique dans la chambre. Sdb partagée, propre, sans eau chaude mais ok. Bonne situation par rapport au centre ville de coron, possibilité d’y aller à pied. pas cher

Reviewed By nchlnnxxHad a lovely stay in Dayon! The staffs are exceptional and really helpful whenever I have questions about the island. They’re very much happy to recommend places and things to do. The location is also perfect as they are near to almost all nice eats in Coron town proper. Stayed in the mix dorm that’s located in the rooftop. Beds are nice and comfortable. Wish there are more pillows though! Also wish that you have hair dryer in the bathroom! ? Overall it was a good stay. Highly recommended! ??

A home away from home
Reviewed By vidaturingan23This place is so comfortable and relaxing. I most especially love the concept of bahay kawayan because it remind me of our old kubo when I was a child. It promotes the Filipino culture and the friendly staff represents the usual Filipino custom. The kubos are so cute and cozy. We rented a family one. There are five of us but the kubo is big enough for all of us. There is also the airconditioning for the extra comfort. The place is so clean and there are plenty of toilets and showers around. They also have their own restaurant but if you fancy something different, Mcdonalds and Lobster king are 5 minutes walk from the place. Their wifi signal is also very good. You can book island hopping trips and ferry through them. Jen is always around if you want information about how to get to certain places in the town. The only thing that I would recommend is perhaps adding more light in the garden because it is too dark at night. I will highly recommend this place to anyone looking for affordable but comfortable place to stay in Coron

THREATENED BY OWNER WITH MACHETE
Reviewed By JamieRitesReviewsOn our second night we returned from town and headed straight for bed. As we were settling down a man who was clearly a bit drunk entered our room and proceeded to mock both me and my friend from what I understand is because we are british. After a miscommunication between my friend and the mysterious man he revealed he was the owner DON and extremely offended. My friend and I apologised for miscommunication but it down to language barrier and meaning of words in our two countries. The owner didn’t calm down and left the room in a rage. He returned a few minutes later with a machete in hand threatening that he had killed people for less. Obviously me and my friend were scared and decided we were going to leave. At this point he apologised and said we will stay here. Me and my friend took shifts to sleep in worry he was going to enter and murder us in the night, not a great experience, it’s a shame as the hostel was okay up until this point. We left promptly in the morning and stayed in a different hostel in town it was much better.

Reviewed By laniteljoarReggy, the owner of Joval Homestay, is a very friendly guy who helped us with getting to know Coron Town, with tips for places to eat, who can arrange excellent private boattrips, and even breakfast and dinner at a local family next door! He has been very helpful! Joval Homestay is on a 10/15 minutes walking distance from the centre of Coron Town. It was clean and the family is very friendly. The dorm rooms have a cold shower, but the private rooms have warm water. You can hang out/chill at the balcony or just outside the homestay until 9pm.

Reviewed By albvisitsA new hostel, with comfortable rooms and very clean bathrooms and shower rooms. We usually book our own bathroom but the communal areas (bathroom and shower rooms) are cleaned as soon as someone uses them so you don’t really notice you’re sharing. I would have a shower and then my boyfriend would go in after me and the shower room would have already been cleaned in between! Breakfast was included and was a good size and kept you full until lunch time - many other included hostel breakfasts are much smaller and we would have to have another snack after breakfast! The owner and staff are lovely and can’t do enough for you. The puppies Fil and Can are very very cute too! They’re currently in the process of building a communal area outside and a sports bar on the roof. Unfortunately it wasn’t completed for our visit but would love to visit again to see it finished. The only thing I would suggest is to have a mirror inside the rooms. Thank you very much for having and looking after us.

Reviewed By yanivstPros: -location is close to the center and the restaurants -quite area where you don’t have noise at night -good price -breakfast every morning to the room, every day a different breakfast -free drinking water -hot water in the shower is great -big room, air con, kitchen, sitting area, balcony, private bathroom, refrigerator -wifi -staff are willing to help in everything you need -laundry -clean room and bathroom -24/7 reception Cons: -The bathroom was a bit small and the toilet was too much close to the shower -wifi wasn’t that good but maybe it’s a problem in coron Was great, would come again for sure and very recommended! Good place at low price!
