Reviewed By Rolf Sfacilities are all very basic (rooms, breakfast), but clean/ok. staff is friendly. location at the railway close to station practical and city center not too far away. railway may be a bit noisy, and the access via access balcony (and only window of the room towards it) is maybe a bit rough but not too bad, if one only needs a reasonable priced and clean place to sleep

Reviewed By jjo442Very scenic (and quiet) surroundings. Decoration is a very stylish, mix of modern and rustic. Very friendly and pleasant staff. The food is just unbelievable and quite a few listed restaurants could be rightly envious.

Beautiful location amazing value
Reviewed By Karen SYes it's a youth hostel. You do have to make and strip your own beds. Don't let that put you off. The hostel is up in the hills surrounded by beautiful country side. The welcome is warm and friendly. The rooms are bunks, a little shabby in places but clean and comfortable with gorgeous views. The breakfast is a good buffet, with coffee, tea, and as much as you like to eat. There are lots of amenities such a kitchen, laundry facilities, games, including a baseball court and pool table. There is a very reasonable bar. The evening meal is great quality and very good value for money at 12 euros for four courses including a brilliant cheese selection. Other than the bunks ( I am 50) you can't fault this place.

Reviewed By KatieinMatlockHave stayed before, so I knew how to find the car park. Street parking is available, but was pretty full when we got there. Reserved a space ahead. Helpful staff. Reasonable room. Wifi OK. Average shower. Basically does what it says in the book

Reviewed By Béatrice DBon Accueil de Cécile. Le gîte est bien placé et très belle vue sur la place. Les repas sont simples mais bons et avec des produits frais et du terroir. Petit déjeuner très copieux, super pour les randonneurs. Cécile est très respectueuse des gestes barrières. Bravo et merci Cécile ! Je recommande vivement.

À tous les routards du bitume, faite escale chez "Guidon & Fourchette". Notre ancienne auberge de 1776 se situe à 6 km de Salers. Une table d'hôte vous sera proposée au prix de 19 € par personne et un espace pour entretenir vos deux roues. Accompagnement pour balades à moto, quad et à pieds sur les plateaux des estives et dans le parc des Volcans. Vous pourrez vous détendre dans le jardin de 4000 m². Nous avons en plus de nos 3 chambres, 1 dortoir pouvant accueillir 6 personnes.
