Im neu renovierten Dorfwirtshaus werden sehr gute, selbst gekochte Speisen angeboten. Insbesondere die Saucen sind hervorragend. Die Portionen sind groÃ, Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist angemessen, da gute, handgemachte Qualität ihren Preis hat. Wir werden sicherlich die Haxn an einem Freitag probieren.

I went to this restaurant whilst on business in Germany.The menu was in German and they didn't speak English but with my limited German I got by.I only had a main course, rump steak medium but it was very tender and well worth it.It was not expensive and if I return to Weissenstadt I will definitely eat here againThey do takeaways here which did a roaring trade, one person came in ad took away the largest pizza box I have ever seen, it must have been a meter square. Amazing.

Das Fichtelrad im kleinen Ruppertsgrun unterhalb das Waldsteins ist eines dieser versteckten Lokale, die man nur zufällig findet oder in das man von jemand anderem eingeladen wird.Dank das Neujahrsempfangs der Wirtschaftsjunioren Fichtelgebirge hat es mich hierher verschlagen. Ich war nach fünf Minuten in dieses Lokal verliebt und schon einen Tag später nach zehn Kilometern auf der Langlaufloipe wieder da :-DWunderschönes modernes Ambiente in einem historischen Gebäude, erstklassige Suppen, Brotzeiten und Kuchen und vor allem: Hier gibt es den besten Kaffee weit und breit. Der Cappucchino schmeckt hier einfach besser als anderswo, ebenso der Filterkaffee, der direkt am Tisch gefiltert wird.Ein Besuch lohnt sich unbedingt! Im Winter Freitags bis Sonntags von 11 bis 17 Uhr geöffnet.Ach ja, Mountain-und E-Bikes kann man hier auch leihen oder eine entsprechende Tour mit Guide absolvieren.

Nach unserer Wanderung auf den Rudolfstein sind wir an einem Sonntag gegen 13 h hier eingekehrt. Dank des guten Wetters war die Terrasse bewirtschaftet und wir konnten uns einen Tisch dazu setzen. Trotz der Vollbelegung hatte wir nach 10 Minuten unser Getränk und nach 30 Minuten das Essen. Die Klöse waren frisch gekocht und sowohl der Sauerbraten als auch das Schäufele waren lecker und kamen mit der eigenen SoÃe. Wir haben fünf Tage später im Restaurant gegessen. Die Getränke kamen sofort, das Essen dauerte wohl aufgrund der Zubereitung wieder die 30 Minuten. Das Restaurant ist renoviert, der Service durch Frau Heidenreich sehr aufmerksam. Empfehlung: Kommen Sie erst um 12 h. Die Küche ist dann "unter Dampf" und das Essen kommt schneller.

This is a special restaurant with excellent, genuine, home-cooked Frankische food. My husband had one of the best steaks he's had this year and I had delicious pork, which was huge but I didn't leave a single bit! The owner/chef spoke English and welcomed us warmly, advising us on what to choose. We were the only non-locals and outside, on the balcony, overlooking the See (lake), some people set up their instruments and sang and played as darkness descended over the water. It was a very special, inexpensive, local experience with a quality of dinner far above anything we expected, in a simple and rustic setting. Inside, the atmosphere and decor is nothing special. Greatly recommended for anyone staying in or near Weissenstadt.

What looks from the outside as just a normal lunchtime cafe/restaurant is instantly forgotten the second you sit down.Carefully and property laid tables ( including linen napkins ) help to set the ambience for what was for us a truly rewarding experience, one easily worth the 10/15 minute diversion of the busy autobahn.In our opinion the food is of michelin star quality, but without the price. Complimenting this was the service and attention of the staff who had no problem conversing in excellent english. Our "server" was a most delightful young lady, but it is fair to say all of them, including a most pleasent lady we met in the kitchen were a delight to deal with.We spent 5 days in Germany, traveling to and from Munich/Berlin and whilst our purpose there was more important than eating in Restaurants, part of our memories will be our visit to this truly exceptional destination. Yes, a bit of a detour off the motor way, but if it took double the time to get there I would do it again. Congtatulations to all of the team there. Awesome!

gibtâs hier. Alle Arten von Steak in allen Zubereitungraden stehen auf der Karte und werden auch serviert. Es schmeckt sehr lecker. Das Personal ist sehr kompetent, aufmerksam und freundlich. Immer wieder gerne zu Gast.

The Gasthof zum Deutschen Haus is a typical inn in Franken nothing fancy or glamorous but with interesting dishes and exciting daily specials. The food is excellent and the portions are just the right size. I enjoyed backed carp, something I hadn't seen on a menu for some time. The others opted for meat dishes and were all happy with their choices. A bit off the beaten track but worthwhile a visit when you are in the area.
