Wir haben drei sehr entspannte Tage in der Lübecker Bucht und im nachhaltigen Holzhotel Hotel Strandkind verbracht. Das Hotel Strandkind setzt auf regenerative Ressourcen. Es wurde im Juli 2017 in einer für Mensch und Tier gesundheitsneutralen Bauweise errichtet. Das Hotel ist also noch ganz neu und besteht fast komplett aus Holz. Beim Bau wurde viel Wert auf ökologische Materialien gelegt. Wir haben in einem Zimmer mit einem Doppelbett und Kinderzimmer mit Doppelstockbett übernachtet. Der Ausblick auf das Meer von der zweiten Etage des Hotels ist schon sehr schön. Vor allem abends, wenn die Sonne untergeht und der Himmel in den schönsten Rottönen leuchtet. Alle Zimmer zur Meerseite haben groÃe Panoramafenster und einen Balkon mit Tischen und Stühlen. Die Pflegeprodukte im Bad sind alle von dem Hersteller STOP THE WATER WHILE USING ME! Die Naturkosmetikprodukte von STOP THE WATER WHILE USING ME! sind alle zu 100% natürlich ohne irgendwelche Silikone, Mineralöle und Paraffine und sogar Made in Germany.Das Hotel Strandkind hat sich auf Familien mit Kindern spezialisiert. Am Frühstücksbuffet finden die Kleinen Teller, Tassen und Co auf ihrerGreifhöhe. Kinderhochstühle, Lese- und Spielecke mit vielen Büchern und Spielen, Wickelbereich und Co. machen den Aufenthalt für Familien, gerade auch mit Babys und Kleinkindern sehr angenehm.Kindern und Erwachsenen wird im Hotel Strandkind nicht langweilig. An fünf Tagen die Woche bietet das Hotel Strandkind Programm. Es gibt BogenschieÃen, einen Hochseilgarten, Kletterwand und sportliche Aktivitäten wie Stand-up paddling (SUP), Strandspiele, Abenteuerausflüge, Zirkusvorstellungen, Bastelaktionen und vieles mehr. Falls das Wetter mal nicht so toll ist, gibt es im Hotel zwei sehr schöne Spielräume mit einem Kicker, Tischtennisplatte und vielen anderen Beschäftigungsmöglichkeiten.Im Hotel Strandkind haben wir geschlemmt wie die Könige. Das Menü am Abend ist klein aber sehr fein. Zur Auswahl stehen Fisch, Fleisch und vegetarische Gerichte. Gekocht wird saisonal und weitgehend nur das, was die Region bietet. Das Fleisch stammt aus artgerechter Tierhaltung und der Fisch kommt direkt aus der See vor der Tür.

The guy who runs the Hole 19 at the golf course near by now opened this restaurant in the Marina of Neustadt. Although it was early April the boats moored here (not too many right now) were really impressive.Entering the restaurant located in a sort of stylish mall you are placed at one of the modern tables beside large windows â opening up to the Marina. In advance we had ordered a Turbot â 2kg+ for the four of us. This fish (caught close to Fehmarn) was a great catch, absolutely fresh, presented on a large plate. We enjoyed tender pieces combined with potatoes and salad of cucumber (or mixed vegetables).For starters the tartar of hering was a good option and went well with a beer.The very skilled and freindly maître dâ went through the list of wines. We ended up with a delicious Gavi, blending perfectly with the fish.

If you want perfect German Food and and English speaking host this is the place to go, hard, to find but best place and first address in town. Liesel is the best cook in town. If you want a good German meal just ask the waitress what is on the menu and you won't be disappointed with an original German meal. Seasonal Specials is what you want,Fish fresh from the sea or anything else, it is all there.

Vi fandt den på vores vej rundt i området.Kroen er typisk tysk. Ligger lige overfor kirken og er pæn og ren.Betjeningen er rigtig udmærket og det er maden også. Vi fik to fint tilberedte portioner asparges.

Great atmosphere, and good German food!! Takes me back into time this was my Grandfathers Home!!! I love how the barn is now the restaurant and that they kept some original items up to tell its story!!! I thought the prices were a little high!!!

Wir waren das erste Mal hier und zwar zum Frühstück. Die Lage und der Blick sehr schön, die Einrichtung typisch norddeutsch und gemütlich, der Service sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Soviel zum Drumherum.Das Frühstück selbst war wirklich genial. Viel (fast zuviel und wir sind gute Esser!) Wurst- und Käseaufschnitt, Fleischsalat, Fisch, Marmelade, selbst gemachte Brotaufstriche (z.B. Thunfisch mit Feta). Kurz und knapp hat es an nichts gefehlt.Der Preis von im Schnitt 13⬠war völlig in Ordnung. Leider kommen wir nicht von dort oben, sonst würden wir vermutlich regelmäÃig das Frühstück hierher verlegen!

Thienemanns is a well known daily restaurant in Neustadt. It´s situated directly near the Townhall and marketplace. Lunch and other daily offers are well known classics from the Northern German area. Starting with some delicious fish offers, meat classics like Burgers, Sauerfleisch or Steak down to traditional Currywurst. In the afternoon a large amount of ice cups, cakes and beautiful German âTortenâ. Within market days crowdy as you are able to sit outside in the sun.

We turned of the highway to eat. Found this place on tripadvisor. The fish was great and plenty. The service friendly and quick. The setting by the harbour lovely and the little town beautiful! Well worth the detour.

We, a party of collegues went to Miera to have a three course meal. And what a great evening it was.After a short meeting with the staff prior to the diningparty, everything were settled regarding starters, drinks and selection of dishes. The staff and cook at Miera handled our wishes and needs with a high standard and routine.I can honestly recommend this restaurant to small and large parties.To Miera: Thanks for making our last evening in Germany to a major success.

Seven hungry sailors came. Seven well fed sailors left.All selections from the menu was very satisfactory. We all agree: The food brought to our table were consumed and appreciated (sorry for no pics!) The various brands of beers following the dishes were acknowlegded with joy. The politeness and eagerness of the crew (including cooks) were rated above satisfactory hence the handsome tip.Absolutly a place to recommend.
