Superbe endroit. Situé en haut d'un immeuble. J'ai facilement compris le pourquoi fu nom du restaurant. La deco est simplement génial, comme dans un galta( grenier). C est super bien décoré et, tout est assorti. Un service véritablement professionnel et surtout très aimable. La proposition du jour était araignée boeuf, bravo la cuisine. Impatient de déguster la carte. Ãtablissement propre, terrasse, tip top.je recommande.

This restaurant would not exist were it not for the view of the Dents du Midi. The view is truly impressive. The food is reasonable, but not inspired. The service is painfully beyond belief. Two bits of advice - get there early if you want to eat at a sensible hour, and take a coat/sweater because it gets cold and the seating is mostly outside.Dear Sir,Just tell you that we are very upset to have only a "2" ! But it is your right !Never mind, we will survive, but a "2" with all the efforts we do here, i think it is not correct..Best Regards,Jerome Puippe

Stayed the night and had breakfast. Lovely view over the valley and the lake with the sound of the cow bells the last thing to hear before falling asleep. Worth the detour. Clean and proper with nice personal atmosphere. Will come back and then have the dinner too.

Went out to Bex for our annual post New Year dinner with the family. The restaurant is nicely decorated, its a bit small though. The entrance opens right into main section of the restaurant. Additional sitting area upstairs but I think its just inconvenient and theres not a lot of room up there either. The service was exceptional, they were really friendly and professional. A bit surprised that they didn't announce one of the dishes before serving it. It consists of Bacardi. Just think that anything with strong alcohol should be announced. Even if its a surprise menu. The food was a bit of a disappointment, It was OK. Just OK. We took the surprise menu. And we were awed by the presentation but not the taste. Its too simple. Theres no WOW! The main dish was ok, fillet de veau, cannot even remember what the side was. The dessert was another let down, 3 balls of dark chocolate with fruits. The chocolate was too strong, bitter. It was a 7 course meal, somehow we left feeling hungry. The portion size was too small. Overall I would recommend this place. I would definitely return.

Repas entres collègues de travail . Carte courte dans les choix mais quel qualité de repas . Salle à manger très sympathique. Dicton de l établissement ici on mange comme a l maison ..c est assez proche de la réalité au point de vue du service ..simplicité et zen attitude ce qui allonge le temps entre convives.. parc devant le restaurant. Seul bémol la circulation ..la Rte passe devant le restaurant dans un virage ..attention aux camions .Le temps va mettre en place les corrections des petits buts donc je reviendrai plus tard ..merci au personnel de service .

Cela faisait quelques années que je n'y étais pas retourné. L'équipe initiale a changé mais le cadre, l'ambiance, la qualité, le service étaient toujours là .Les crêpes choisies, (une salée, une sucrée), étaient très bonnes. Le service rapide et un personnel sympathique.

Nous avons dégusté la chasse à midi et ce fut un vrais régal . Une mention particulière pour les attriaux de chamois qui sont sublimes.Très belle carte de chasse et des vins .Bel accueil du personnel.

Nomen est omen: Restaurant du Theatre is located...at the theatre, just a few steps from Monthey-Ville railway stop.My lunch was truly close to perfection - driven both by excellent food and great staff.Thumbs-up for the unobstrusive and professional service. Even chef Mauro helped with the service, explaining the ingredients of each dish - a much appreciated gesture.The a-la-carte choices proved excellent but are admittedly not for the budget-conscious. As starter I had "plins" (kind of small ravioli) stuffed with boar meat and garnished with local Chablais truffles - quite delicate and tasty. As main course the veal fillet was tender and cooked to perfection; it was served with chanterelles and diverse vegetables. Unreasonably I also indulged in a dessert: the chocolate moist cake was tasty and well-worth the 20-minute preparation time.Amounting to CHF109 the bill was definitely on the expensive side - as often in Switzerland. However the high quality food and service are well worth it.

when you drive up to the restaurant, the first thing you see is "nightclub". This place s a firm favourite. We went for lunch and had a wonderful meal. The service is full of charm and the food outstanding. Lentil puree with parmesan foam for the amuse bouche was amazing. We then had scallops served in their shell on a bed of cauliflower mash and capers - a really clever combination that showed off the sweetness of the scallops. For mains, we had guinea fowl which was stuffed with spinach on a wonderful sauce. Desert was a chocolate mousse for me and a divine apple compote which was more like tarte tartan without the taste! What was not to like?! With wines out meal came to CHF225 which, given the quality, was good value. We will definitely go back - and so should you.
