We happened to find this restaurant while walking around Martigue. The owner was very friendly and welcoming and recommended the specility of the house - the moules a la plancha. It was one of the best meals we ate in 2 weeks of travelling around Provence - really outstanding. The service was great and the bill for two with coffee and drinks came to about 45 Euros. Wow.

My partner and I had lunch here while in Martigues. The restaurant overlooks the waterways of Martigues which are teaming with fish. The staff speak fluent English. As for the food, the dish of the day was Calamari which we ordered; we were expecting a small portion of meat but were well and truly surprised by the size, taste, quality and quantity of the dish served up. We also had an outstanding ham sideboard entrée. Neither of us were able to fault anything.Importantly the food was reasonably priced, the entrée and main only cost â¬13.50 which is very respectable for the quality of food served in a very touristy area.Highly recommend.

Why this restaurant is empty i will never know. It is the best quality restaurant in the area by far. It has elegance and style,a wonderful fresh menu and a very reasonable price. Kids menu is the best value serving a drink fresh main course including fish and selection of wonderful ice cream.

Chose this place as it's run by a young couple and it is nice to encourage them. They have obviously put their hearts and souls into this place.My partner ordered a typical Italian dish which seemed to cause problems in the kitchen. (It shouldn't have been on the menu!)We waited nearly an hour and when it finally arrived it had little in common with its Italian counterpart!I had ordered a fish dish and this was really delicious.Other people's food looked good too. Probably we were just unlucky.

We had a business dinner for a group of 7 people, excellent food and wine for a reasonable price. We took a set 3-course menu, with sufficient choice for everyone's taste, all originally presented on the plates. Small portions, high quality, tastes blend in very well.

From the welcome as we arrived to the moment we left, our evening was spent enjoying every mouthful. The service was polite and friendly - without being over intrusive and the meal itself was delicious. The Ravioles de Gambas were full of flavour and the pasta just right. Filet de Loup to follow (sea bass) in a pistachio sauce was accompanied by a delicately cooked and presented parcel of sauted seasonal vegatables - and was absolutely delicious. Fresh fish combined with fresh vegetables - can't go wrong really ! My parner had the Filet Mignon (steak) and was equally delighted. The chocoalte parfait and nougat glacé lived up to the recommendations of our friendly waiter - as did his suggested wine. And all that for only 24 euros each (plus wine) ! Other similar restaurants in Martgues charge the same for one course. Give this one a try !

The food at this Turkish restaurant is altogether exceptional, even more so for the modest prices it charges. Starting with the mezze platter (planche decouverte), on which everything stood out. Through to the grilled meats (with fabulous yoghurt) and grilled prawns. If you think this place looks a little ordinary, and the menu looks a little like a fast food joint's, do not be put off. It's a great place, with great food. The only drawback would be if pressed for time - it did take a good while for our food to arrive, but it was certainly well worth the wait.

They argued we got the wrong date for our 10 person reservation. They lied about not having any contact details to confirm the reservation on the day - which sort of restaurant would take a booking for 10 people without asking for a phone number?!Donât waste your time with these disrespectful shameless dreadful people.Monsieur.....la réservation a été prise pour samedi 5 août...sachez que toute résa est validée.câest à dire on répète le jour et le le nombre de personnes...mon seul tort est de ne pas avoir pris de numéro de téléphone il est vrai!!!!et je tiens à préciser comme vous lâavez évoqué hier,que vous ne mâavez laissé aucun numéro !!!je ne perd pas encore la mémoire...et je sais encore prendre une réservation par téléphone !!!!votre note médiocre nâest en aucun cas justifiée..de Plus sans avoir mis un pied dans notre restaurant et sans avoir goûté notre cuisine !!!!l Câest cher payé....bonne journée

Je suis allée y manger en famille un dimanche midi.La salle est bien décorée, comme si on était dans un patio provençal. Par contre, la salle est un poil bruyante à mon goût.Le'personnel est souriant et sympathique.En ce qui concerne le choix des plats, on a de quoi faire. Il y a de quoi contenter tous les goûts, autant dans le chaud que dans le froid. Par contre, je regrette qu'à seulement 13h30, le buffet des desserts soit déjà quasi vide... Une personne du service nous a dit que ça allait être rechargé et, 10 minutes plus tard, toujours rien. Mes parents et moi n'avons donc pas eu beaucoup de choix pour les dessert.En ce qui concerne la qualité des produits, tout était bon. Je ne sais pas si c'était du fait maison ou pas, mais en tous cas on a tous trouvé ça bon. Si c'est de l'industriel, il s'agit d'industriel de qualité.En résumé, on a bien mangé et c'était bon pour un prix dans la norme pour ce type de restauration buffet. Nous reviendrons.
