Incredibly helpful staff, excellent English (thank you!) and excellent knowledge of the food, with options to be flexible if needed. We ordered the blue cheese steak (which my husband said was the best steak in Croatia) and the tuna steak, which again was fantastic. The view across the water and sunset made the most incredible backdrop. If you are in Lopud, definitely check it out. Not to mention the manager/owner was very friendly, joking with kids and making them laugh. Lovely place.

When visiting Lopud island this is an excellent restaurant to go for dinner. It is run by a lovely Croatian family who welcome into their home. The food is beautifully cooked and great value for money.If you want to try the lamb cooked under the bell make sure you order 24 hours in advance there are a few other dishes which need to be ordered in advance so check when booking as we didn't realise.They don't accept credit cards so remember to take cash.

Tasty food, good value, beautiful setting, friendly service. Brilliant place for a holiday meal. We were a group of 6 including 3 carnivores, two veggies and a fussy eater. We all left very happy. Well worth a visit.

Definately worth booking for a waterside tableNicola was a fantastic waiter.. Knowledgeable and making great recommendatations. The warm feta with thyme and honety is a must and the tuna steak sensational! The squid lovely and crispy and the local Dirty tagliatelle is rich and hearty. This is a fantastic place with very good food and value for money. We arrived little early because we had no reservation. We got the last table. The service is excellent, and the recommodations spot on. Seafood pasta and Boar was fantastic. Price for 4 persons with 3 courses and wine / beer was 1150 hrk. Very reasonable.

Rural by name rural by nature. Fresh food. Home cooked. Lovely personal service. Limited menu of course but we knew that beforehand. We opted for the fish which was enormous sea bass grilled perfectly with side salad potatoes zucchini. Litre nice red wine and litre sparkling water. Dessert included total 440 crowns. 2 people. Best meal by a mile so far in Croatia

Was recommended by our landlady. Must order the day before because Peka (local food) needs many hours for preparation. Was met with the daughter of the restaurant owner who first showed us the kitchen where Peka is made, then to another room where we got to taste many different Rakija. All food comes from their farm. Fantastic appetizer, Peka and cake. The mother is a chef and comes full time and asks guests if they are satisfied with the food. The owner has shown us pictures of different generations, great surroundings.⣠It is one of the best restaurant we have been with great food.A good tip: go there with an empty stomach

We were pleasantly surprised by this nice restaurant. Once we had figured out how to get in (via the outside steps, as its completely abandoned inside!), we were greeted very warmly. The service remained very friendly and attentive for the entire duration of the meal, and it was definitely one of the best service experiences we had in Croatia. Their homemade bread and olive oil was delicious and all of us were really happy with our food - it was all really good!

Place doesnât need to try too hard as on main drag in Dubrovnik. Grumpy chap served us, wasnât pleasant at all. Great place for people watching and soaking up the atmosphere. You can usually find street entertainment nearby although you wonât see much as crowds gather and block your view. Food is decidedly average, nice wine though, try the Babic, not bad for £30.
