Top 10 European food in Ibiza, Balearic Islands, Spain

April 13, 2020 Alice Mieles

Reviews on European food in Ibiza, Balearic Islands, Spain. Ibiza: Old Spanish for "party 'til you drop." Perhaps not literally, but this is definitely one of Europe's favorite nightlife playgrounds. Ibiza boasts more than 100 miles of coastline with some 50 beaches, plus plenty of restaurants, bars, and water sports—and clubs, of course. Fit in a little culture and visit Ibiza's UNESCO-designated old town.

We went there for lunch around 3 PM. They were half+ full, yet they said it would be 15 minutes plus to order and then the kitchen was slow. We went somewhere else! AC was poor, too. Dear 430bert, I’m Michele owner of “el Local” I remember you perfectly. You arrived at 15:30 without any reservation. For lunch we close at 16:00 and usually the kitchen close earlier but this day (that was raining in Ibiza and full of people in town) we was working more to let more costumers as possible can enjoy a meal at “el Local”. I just ask you to wait a little bit in our sofa to let other clients finish their meal and to clean a table to serve you correctly and of course there was more people before and after you waiting to eat. You decided to left our place after 5 minutes told me that you are hungry...well what can I say: I’m sorry but we are not a fast food and, remember, neither an ambulance arrive immediatly. Ah and just for saying all the costumers before and after you sit down and enjoyed a good lunch at “el Local”.

The food here is absolutely unreal to the point where my friends and I were fantasizing about some of the dishes the next couple of days!!The fried Brie and caramelized onions are an absolute must. So delicious.Service was brilliant from the get go. Alcohol and food as prices reasonably and we would have paid more for how much we enjoyed our experience and still have been satisfied.Venue is beautiful at night. Will definitely recommend and be back! We think that mouthgasm should certainly be added to at least the urban dictionary, if not that actual dictionary. Thank you so much for your lovely kind words, we are really pleased you had such a good evening with us. And we look forward to welcoming you again next time you are in Ibiza. Thanks again. This restaurant is fantastic! We ate here twice on our recent trip to Santa Eulalia and were blown away by the skills and talent that Simone and Elisa possess. The food is on par with a Michelin star establishment thanks to Simone’s single handed attention to detail, flavour and unique produce combinations. Elisa is a natural host who oozes warmth and makes you feel so special from the moment you arrive. As well as a stunning menu they also have a small but perfectly formed wine list, not to mention delicious cocktails and Ibizan real ales. Simone and Elisa took the time to speak to us after every course despite only having one other person on their team, Saaba who is as lovely and attentive as them. The hard work and passion that this couple have put into their restaurant is evident in all they do and they deserve every success. I could go on but instead urge you to eat at Mar y Tierra and see for yourself. A special mention must go to Coffee their dog who behaves impeccably when he returns from his dog walk and sleeps on the couch outside quietly. Simone, Elisa, Saaba and Coffee we can’t wait to return next year!

We found this little gem on trip advisor after pounding the streets the night before looking for something half decent to eat in playa d’en Bossa. The service here was super. The tapas was served really quickly and the waitress allowed us to sample the wines before we purchased a bottle.(usually difficult in spain!!) Located on a residential area so no views but the ambiance and quality of the food made up for it. Thanks for the visit! We’re glad that you had a good experience with us and hope to see you soon again!

Dined here on an evening based on reviews and not disappointed. You have to visit this restuarant, it's a short taxi ride but well worth it. Great food and location on the hillside with fantastic view of the sunset. Traditional food / style restuarant which makes it more special and all reasonable prices. Highly recommended and would return if I'm in Santa Eulaila again!

I had checked on Trip Advisor prior to visiting Ohana, and decided to go as reviews were great... and we were not disappointed! On arrival we were told we had to wait 15 mins or so for a table and we were offered a drink whilst we waited. Less than 10 mins though, and our table was ready! The seafood paella was to DIE for, ultra fresh and full of flavour. The staff make this place 10/10 because of how efficient and on the ball they are. Thanks for such a great last supper in Ibiza :-) Dear client,Thank you for taking the time to write a review! We are so glad to know that you enjoyed your last meal in Ibiza with us. Our chefs cook the paella with fresh and top quality ingredients to get an extraordinary flavor. We hope to receive you again very soon so you can taste the rest of the menu. We are sure you will love it!Kind Regards,

Came here last night after seeing it rated really good on trip advisor. We arrived and sat inside and ordered a burger and the ribs with a cocktail each. We enjoyed the cocktails so much, we ended up having 3 rounds of them. The food arrived fairly quickly and lived up to expectations. The burger was thick and juicy and the toppings were tasty. My boyfriends ribs were also very good, the meat fell straight off the bone!! We had 2 mains, 5 cocktails, a shot of jäger and a dessert and the bill came to €62 which was unbelievable value. They had an offer on where you could get a main, a cocktail and then choose a free dessert, coffee or shot. The food was presented to a really high standard, not just shoved on a plate and same with the cocktails. It was the cheapest food we’ve had since being in Ibiza and easily the best. My burger with wedges was €8!!! Everywhere we’ve been for food and drinks have been really expectant of a tip and just took it without us saying. At this place we purposely put more down on the bill tray as we wanted to give a tip and Pau stopped us walking out to give us our change, we told him it was for a tip and he was so grateful for it which was so nice to see!!Thanks Pau for a lovely evening, I’ll definitely return if I ever visit Ibiza again!! Guys first of all ..... YOU !!!....... are amazing !!!! jajajaja omg...this review is as long as my responses !!!! you mention every single detail of your experience which of course i love because is good valuable information for our next potential customers....and you uploaded 4 pictures !!! which also is very good information, so thank you for this awesome review !!! easily one of the bests !!The burger and the ribbs we have, they come from a very very good provider, for sure one of the bests on the island, so our job of cooking it well and make it tasty becomes very easy for our cooks, (we have been preparing for just for the last two years, before tropi, for 17 years was a trance bar mini night club, so imagine the change....all is still new for us...and still learning.) the thing is we wanted to have / keep our high quality standars from before, so the first thing we needed to be able to give good meals...was the providers, so we didnt look much on the cheaper options cause we had very clear....that for having good quality we couldnt spare on the price...and thank god some people (clever ones) realize of this, that make us keep continuing the same path, Quality first... The offer that you talk about we call it the "Tropi Experience", as you know we have some "snacks" / "fast food" also and some of these are frozen, so if someone just drank a beer and one of these cheap snacks could leave with the impression that we are no more special than any other bar in the area, that doesnt happen with the Tropi Experience cause we....make sure that this person will try one of our elaborated cocktails, and probably will be positively shocked (not difficult in the west end) , and might even come back....for so many years that was the reason why people came back....so.... Happy we were the cheapest and the best food you had in Eivissa....but that also is sad as far the island is concerned, and doesnt talk very good of the real restaurants, we are not even a restaurant we are a snack-bar restaurant... Shocked about the tip thing, if i had ever someone of our staff taking tips that werent really given....omg would be kicked off straight away....shocking this happened to you, no wonder Eivissa is losing more and more turists every year...i have to say that we actually thought that it was the tip....but who knows, was a lot of money, and it could be a mistake cause a currency change in another country, or you might have a second thought or whatever.....so....we always ask what we dont know....and thats how we are learning so.... thank you guys !! and thank you Jade for making me aware we didnt have menu for drinks on facebook !! hope seing you next year !!!
