Great little hotel in a fantastic location
Reviewed By Ziggy ÖThe hotel is situated very close to ski centre Malina. Although it's about 10 minutes walking distance there's no need to walk as the hotel has a free shuttle which can pick you up and drop you off at a time suitable to you. The view from the hotel is amazing, especially at sunset. We stayed as two families in the penthouse apartment which was very large and comfortable and had everything we needed. The staff at reception are extremely helpful and were immediately attentive when we had any problems. There are only a few negatives I would say about the hotel. The curtains in the bedrooms in the penthouse are insufficient and let in too much light, this led to a few sleepless nights for me. I understand it is because of the triangular shape of the penthouse windows but I think maybe they could still find a better solution. The curtains in the rooms on the other floors are perfectly adequate. The hot water was also insufficient as it was only ever enough for one shower. We soon learned to stagger our showers! Finally the selection at breakfast could be a bit more varied. It was pretty much the same few choices each morning which got a bit boring after a couple of days. Overall I think the hotel was great value for money and the friendliness of the staff together with the fantastic location makes it somewhere I would definitely stay again.

Reviewed By caglayan0I think, I can consider myself a regular to Amampuri Village. We have been staying there for over 5 years now and almost every winter we go there with friends. It is far away from the crowd of the Pamporova Hotels area but easy to get there by car only in 10 minutes. It is very convenient for families with kids their restaurant serve variety of freshly prepared local dishes. So far, we have only stayed there during the winter but I want to spend at least a weekend there during the summer, too. Lastly, don't forget to buy your food &drinks from Smolyan or Asenovgrad as the supermarkets in those towns are cheaper.

Reviewed By elenimeli1991One of the few times that the pictures tell really the truth! The studio with the fireplace is just lovely and as the nightfall comes makes it perfect into the wild! View is breathtaking across the forest and is as isolated as it should be for someone to relax …Hosts are kind and friendly and also English speaking which is important. Breakfast is reach & cheap and just nearby in the village complex. Apartments are located just 800m from the slopes so no need to use the car. Easy to reach from the Sofia airport (3 hours). Just outside the hotel there is a mini market to buy what is needed. Rooms are fully equipped for cooking and the heating is on all day long. I would say that the place is ideal for a couple for skiing, snowboarding and walks into the forests. If I really had to find sth as a negative point, the only thing would be for the towels which as a company policy they change every 3 days. All in all I strongly recommend Apartments Malina and the big studio as it is one the few rooms that offer fireplace in this amount of money!

All my life I have traveled to various places but I have never come across such good people who help with everything, people who are so kind and willing to help with everything. This is definitely a place I will visit for a long time.

Reviewed By Vict0ria1212Wonderful studio, you've got everything that you need there so you almost don't wanna go out (kidding :). A big bright room with a comfy sofa, dining table and everything that you need in the kitchen... The hotel is right next to the piste. I liked the traditional style restaurant/pub at the lowest part of the hotel- it's cozy and the food is tasty. The staff in the hotel is okay, except those in the Alpine style restaurant down the stairs... Nobody replaced the missing soaps/shampoos for 5 days and didn't put a sponge although we had dirty plates to wash. The man at the ski wardrobe was very helpful and nice, the receptionist too.The wi-fi is free BUT the signal is very weak so basically you can't get any internet connection. Who cares - I was there to ski, not to hang on the internet. The mattress of the bed was old and I could feel the springs on my back. Somebody was smoking somewhere on the lower floors and our bath and room smelled like cigarettes often so we had to open the window for fresh air to come in. In general everything was okay.

Reviewed By kusshenFor the third year we visit the Boriki complex. The staff is extremely friendly and kind. The apartment they are staying in is large and always warm. The food is not always very varied, but it is delicious. A few minutes from Malina Station , and a 10-15 minute walk along the road.

Reviewed By liliyak2014Встречали Новый 2020-й год в отеле. Заселили быстро, номер дали правда не тот, который мы бронировали, но жили мы прекрасно. Хотели посмотреть другой номер, чтобы вернуться и бронировать уже со знанием "лучше один раз увидеть", но все время все было занято. В номере даже заботливо кем-то от руки был написан список каналов. У нас было даже два телевизора, огромный и поменьше, видимо от огромного до нас потеряли пульт, но мы включали его "руками". Первый канал на русском, остальные на разных языках, интересные.) Администраторы очень доброжелательные, особенно Слава, большое ей спасибо! Екатерина и молодые ребята тоже всегда рады гостям. Питание выше всяких похвал, Христо и Гери - мастера своего кулинарного искусства, так приятно было и пообщаться, и вкусно поесть, кроме того, Христо и Гери прекрасные люди! Отдельное спасибо водителю, молодому человеку, имя услышали как "Эмму" (если не так, просим простить), он так аккуратно брал наши лыжи, как будто они хрустальные, приезжал всегда минута в минуту по времени, на которое мы просили автобус (отдельный плюс отелю, что автобус отвозит и привозит по требованию, а не по расписанию, правда другие водители, сменявшие молодого человека в отдельные дни, просили вернуться раньше, т.к. они живут далеко и торопились на свой автобус, чтобы уехать домой), а наш любимый водитель всегда готов был забрать нас и попозднее, чтобы мы "вкусно" спустились с горы в заключительный раз, после паузы по окончании работы подъемников, "с ветерком"). Прекрасный вид из окон, из ресторана, очень уютное оформление, лобби чудесное, не хотелось уезжать, очень хотелось бы вернуться. Спасибо отелю за прекрасно проведенный Новый год! Конечно были мелкие бытовые вопросики, как и дома бывает, например, лампочка в спальне перегорела, оставили заявку в журнале внизу, но ее так и не поменяли, но спать данный факт нам не мешал, вещи только рано утром в темноте собирали "на ощупь") Но эти мелочи нам не мешали наслаждаться отдыхом.
