Off season must mean all bets are off

I booked this room based on all of the positive reviews. Upon arrival they gave me my key card promptly. They never pointed me in the right direction to the rooms, or told me where parking was. I got to the room and there was no coffee/tea on the tray with the kettle and the in room safe was locked. I went back to the office. They told me that they don't have coffee or tea in the rooms and to just come down for breakfast at 8. They gave me the key to the safe and asked me to drop it off when I was done. The room was decent but smelled a little smokey. In the morning I went down at 8:30 to the restaurant for breakfast. I made eye contact with the server and said good morning, no response., whatever. There were 5 other tables occupied, 4 had couples and one had a Croatian party of about 7. I noticed one couple was looking around for the server and their table was bare. I waited for 15 minutes with no acknowledgement from the server. She walked by my table about 6 times to assist the large party and went through great lengths to not make eye contact. After 15 minutes I got and left. On the way out I asked the front desk folks if they were serving breakfast. They said they were and I recalled my experience for them. Without missing a beat they both said, "She did not see you." As I was walking back to my room another staff member ran up and said "She didn't see you." I stopped him and asked him to stop pretending. I told him that I had made eye contact with her upon entering and she had walked by my table several times to get to the table she was interested in serving. The staff person just looked at me and said, "We will get you breakfast." I came back to my room at 2pm and it still had not been cleaned. Disappointed.

Amazing, highly recommend!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Antons 2 apartment. We stayed in Flat F. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of the old town, among beautiful historic buildings, restaurants and cafes at your doorstep. Despite the city is quite lively in the evening, the flat was quiet, the outside noise was minimal due to double glazed windows. The interior is tastefully furnished and equipped with all essentials that one can think of, we were both very impressed. The pictures don’t do it justice. If there was one thing that I’d like to suggest, are bigger coffee cups as we enjoy a big mug of coffee in the morning. The air conditioning worked flawlessly. The flat was spotlessly clean and beds were comfortable. One of the best accommodations we had to date.

ROBBED WHILE SLEEPING

Reviewed By Damajanti K

We have heen robbed in the middle of the night while mom and my sister slept in the apartment. Money, phone, documents, all gone. The owner takes 0 responsibility, refused to accomodate my mom for free until her new documents have been made and new flight could be taken. Do not rely on police here, they did absolutely nothing. The threw a single mother out on the street with a minor with no money and documents, after they have been robbed on HIS property. We are calling the journalists and reporterts on this. Disgrace.

Couples holiday

Reviewed By Paula_Roberts666

The arrangements were all done through email with the apartment owners and flights booked through last minute. com which included transfers. We arrived in a thunderstorm and Marija sent us the codes to access our apartment earlier in the day than we had been told. This was about 11 am. The apartment was still being cleaned but we were able to leave our luggage and went for a quick drink and when we came back 30 mins later it was all clean and fresh. It seemed to me all flats had the same code as the code for the outer door was the same for the actual apartment. This was a bit concerning. The flat was modern. And well equipped. We only had 1 mug but Marija sorted another one for the following day. I did request an iron bit didn't ever get one, however I only asked once and wasn't too concerned. The apartment is in the old part of Pula, above some local shops and bars/restaurants. And a local casino. It can be noisy which didn't bother us and when windows and shutters were closed it could hardly be heard. It was lovely just to come out of the apartment onto the street and have all facilities there. It is next to a bus stop and taxi rank. A small supermarket is 3 mins away . 5 mins walk to the amazing Amphitheater. On your to do list is a visit the Amphitheater, it cost about £6.00 per adult, well worth it. The bus stop for the hop on hop off bus is at the location of the Amphitheater and that cost us £11.00 each for 24 hours. We got off at a local cove which was beautiful and spent a few hours and visited a shopping center there. This is in the more family orientated part of town for package holidays. It is a beautiful coastline, pebbly in the main but stunning. We also booked a day excursion to Venice. We left about 7am and got back at 8pm. The boat takes 3 hours to get there and time is tight to do everything but its worth it. That cost us £80 each. IMPORTANT Point!!!! Not many places take card payments. Some restaurants and shops but you need to make sure you have a good % of your money in cash. I had a Monzo card which is preloaded with money. It doesn't charge for cash withdrawals at Atm but locally the do. When I took money for the Venice excursion out I was charged £29 to take out £170. A lot to pay. Currency is Kuna, and in Venice its Euro so also consider that. July was 30 degrees generally and about once a week you get an amazing thunderstorm. A beer is about 18 Kuna (£2.10) in bars. Wine comes as 0.1l (much smaller than the 175ml in UK!!!) for about 12 Kuna (£1.50) in bars. Meals are generally about £15-20 a head in restaurants. Pula is a beautiful city with lots of architecture and lovely buildings. We loved our time there and would def recommend it

Fantastic value!!!

Reviewed By csarkas

These studios are fantastic value for money!!! Modern, cool decor and spotlessly clean with a table and chairs and a fully equipped kitchenette. Air-con and double glazing mean a peaceful quiet night's sleep even though you are a 5min walk from all the main sights in Pula. The hosts Manuela and Amir are very professional, friendly and helpful. No request is too much of an issue and communication on what's app is swift. Highly recommended and a great base from which to explore the region of Istria!!

I spent 14 days there and enjoyed every moment of it. Originally had to stay 10 days, but we prolonged our stay there for another 4 days. The place is just magic. Couldn’t get enough of bird’s songs and the pure nature you are surrounded with. Place is children friendly. I was there with my three kids - the youngest is 3 months. I loved the apartments. Very nice ambient. I usually have problems with cleanliness in such complexes, but here, I just felt good - homelike. The pool is filled with salty water and being cleaned and regularly refilled. Kids loved it. And the last, but not the least: hosts are such nice people and the staff too. We loved the homemade food they were preparing for the breakfasts. I certainly gained some weight. We were so sad to leave the place. Thank you so much for everything Seherzada team! I forgot to mention owner’s dog Charlie: we will miss her - the cuddle machine! ❤️
