Lovely looking hotel however lack of food choices and restaurants
Reviewed By becky yThis is a beautiful hotel, lovely and quiet and in a lovely cove. My main complaint is that unfortunately the hotel is let down by resturant choices. There is one buffet resturant and 2 beach side restaurants however we have been here for 3 days now and one of them has not been open once therefore leaving you with your only option of the one restursnt which serves a couple of pizzas and pasta dishes and fried chicken and chips - not what your expecting for a Spanish hotel.

Reviewed By rudiger-frankWe spent the Easter weekend at Torremirona Golf resort to play golf. The facilities and staff were excellent. Very accommodating. Golf facilities and the course were in excellent condition. Rooms were all situated close to the reception area, and pet friendly. Swimming pool also next to the rooms in a private area. Restaurant and service were also very good. We did not use the Spa as it was not located on the golf hotel premises - about 500 meters away and has a separate cost structure. We will come back.

Reviewed By Jimix66Carpe Diem Cadaqués is an outstanding place to spend your holidays. Services are excellent, they took care of us at anytime. The site is located close to the center of the village (5min walk) but is absolutely peaceful with great views of Cadaqués. Its japanish food restaurant is one of the best we have been: excellent food and service. Wether you are staying at Carpe Diem Cadaqués or not, you can’t leave Cadaqués without giving it a try.

Reviewed By dianedO3011OYI have just spent the night here, and it was the worse night I’ve spent in an hotel ever. The views and facilities are lovely. I had room 202, a two bedroom apartment. The noise from a discotech next to the bedroom windows was beyond a joke, it started late at night and went on until 5.15am when the music stopped and all night people stood outside shouting and smoking, then when it closed they started shouting and fighting. It was terrible, absolutely no sleep. I could not recommend this hotel or would ever return, the staff should not be putting people in the rooms at this corner, unless it is full, and then should at least let them know about the probable noise from the disco. Appalling DO NOT ACCEPT ANY ROOM ON THE LEFT HAND SIDE OF THIS HOTEL AS YOU LOOK AT IT. You will not sleep!!!

Great Stay in Girona
Reviewed By Graham NWe stayed here for 5 nights, and took the train from Barcelona, which is fast and comfortable. Check in is at Hotel Ciutat de Girona, a 4 star hotel which in on the other side of the river. Although only a 5 minute walk away, the route is cobbled and over a bridge, so not ideal if you have suitcases or mobility issues. It was a problem for us, and we ended up calling a taxi for the short journey, as there was no one at the hotel to help. Although there were just the 2 of us, I had booked the largest apartment (3 bed/2 bath) because this seemed to have an outside terrace. It is a lovely apartment with lots of space and is bright and airy. The location is of course in the old town, which is gorgeous, and the building itself is beautiful. Our apartment was on the top floor, with 2 terraces. (Luckily there is a lift.) A tiny kitchen area with a table and 2 chairs, and another roof top terrace (which isn’t really overlooked) with a table and 4 chairs. The roof terrace is accessed via one of the bedrooms and gets plenty of sun. (A sun lounger would have been ideal). The bathrooms are an unusual design, and the air conditioning seemed to circulate the smell of cooking (we turned it off). Otherwise, the apartment is well presented and larger than the photos suggested to me. Fully equipped and practical, it was also comfortable and relaxing. You can never be sure when hiring apartments, as peoples expectations/choices differ so much, but I was delighted with this choice. Girona is a beautiful town, and we really enjoyed our stay.

Mean rooms, bad service and quite far from city centre
Reviewed By 261annemarielIn spite of being quite far from the sea front, the setting in a terraces up the hillside with views down over the bay means it could be really good. But it isn't. The rooms are mean both in size and furnishings: our double bedroom had nowhere to put a suitcase, a single chair and an open cupboard which was like an IKEA box without its door so all the holes for fixing fittings are visible. Towels are small and thin. The balcony was nice with a view over the distant sea - in spite of the pictures published on various sites, the sea is actually quite far below and the walk down into the centre or to the sea is a good 10 minutes down (and up! ) a very steep hill. Even within the premises there are a lot of stairs everywhere. The junior staff are nice enough but the ones in charge were distinctly unhelpful. It is not value for money.

Excellent clean accommodation
Reviewed By AMANDA WBooked here last minute as we had to stay in Spain for an additional 2 nights. Owners met us on arrival & assisted us to park the car in their private area. Whilst they spoke little English, they produced a laptop to translate everything. The room was very large, extremely clean, a huge balcony terrace & very central. Only thing lacking was a kettle so we had to boil water in a pan & there was no oven only a microwave but this wasn't an issue with only 2 nights. The entire building was immaculately clean & smelled lovely, the gardens well kept with a small private pool. When leaving, the owners arranged a taxi for us & all came down to say goodbye & wave us off.

Great Hotel But...
Reviewed By leacooperWe stayed in apartment Condado twice. Once in 2018 and 2017. Lovely visit we were aloud to use 4 star hotels pool over the road and they also had a quiet rooftop pool. We had 2 kids and 4 adults with us. Only complaints would be there was no lifeguard around pool area ( hotel over road had one) some girls brought sun loungers into the baby pool while kids were around (understand not hotels fault) and my gran got kicked out of other pool (hilarious though)

Wonderful stay in the Studio Apartment
Reviewed By shalinikamra79We stayed here for one night only. We arrived early, so the property was nice enough to give us an early check in ( they had the room ready). Our hostess Eva was very friendly & helpful in getting info on Dali museum & the buses. The apartment itself was very comfortable, well equipped and tastefully done up. Cozy apartment with a small sit out area to enjoy the weather. The room did not have much of a view as it was on the ground floor. The pictures on their website are too basic and do not do justice to the actual rooms. So we were pleasantly surprised to see the room. We really enjoyed our stay here and would love to come back.
