Decent no frills accommodation
Reviewed By BrianL496This is decent budget accommodation. It’s not luxurious, but it is clean and functional and the staff are helpful and friendly. Rooms are reasonably spacious, the wifi signal is good and it’s centrally located so it’s an easy walk to the bus station and the centre of town. Bathrooms are particularly basic and while they have showers, there are no cubicles so water goes everywhere. Breakfast isn’t available, but there is a common kettle and microwave available. I would choose to stay there again.

Our hotel is situated in the very center in Plovdiv. We have only fashionable furnished apartments that are perfect for long-term rentals, for business or leisure travellers. All the clubs, bars, shopping centers and landmarks are within walking distance. We provide great customer service and the best cleanness in town.
Perfect choice in Plovdiv
Reviewed By kiera1999Staff very friendly and welcoming, did not speak much English but our tour guide and Google translate filled in the gaps. Very comfortable clean apartment, comfortable bed, shower/toilet were a wet room which was a bit strange but the floor dried quickly. Location could not be beat - central for everything. It was nice to have the extra space compared to a hotel room. Pictures are very accurate so I don't need to add any more. The only issues we had were that as British tea drinkers we were disappointed to find that the apartment only had 3 small tea cups - we would have liked a couple of good-sized mugs please! Also, no English speaking channels on the TV - we don't expect a lot of English channels when travelling but it's nice to be able to keep up with the news for example. This is why I gave it 4 out of 5 - everything else was excellent.

Reviewed By neoalfmoThe art guesthouse is THE place to be in Plovdiv! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The best location in Capana, the most beautiful place of the center of plovdiv with restaurants, bars, cafes and many little shops. It's licated in a quiet little street. The owner Ivan is a lovely guy who will make all the necessary things and advices you need. He comes in 5 minutes if you need something and he is a very nice person. You should take the room with the roiftop to enjoy your breakfast with a stunning view on Plovdiv and all the monuments, the hills and the mountains. But what i have prefered is a night view where you can drink a glass of wine. Incredible guest house experience here! I travel a lot and it was one of my best! You should go without any hesitatiin! A big thank you Ivan! ??

Reviewed By Fitnessgirlsavevamo scelto la Guest House Fun and Rest di Plovdiv attratte dalla posizione centrale e dal balcone che affaccia sulla piazza... dalle recensioni lette la struttura sembrava pulita, ma non era così! ci saremmo comunque adattate senza lamentarci alla scomodità del materasso spesso pochi centimetri, agli insettini sui muri e sui mobili e al bagno minuscolo che si allaga utilizzando la doccia a filo pavimento, alla polvere ovunque e alle lenzuola sdrucite, alla puzza di fogna che si sente già sulle sporchissime scale pericolanti in legno e al fatto che in camera ci fosse solo una finestrella ... per le bellezze di Plovdiv si può resistere una notte così! ma la porta a vetri da cui si entra nella stanza impedisce il riposo e la privacy: affaccia su un ingresso/sala comune, di passaggio per il bagno comune delle altre due stanze, in cui c'è una telecamera che riprende gli ospiti 24 ore su 24, con la luce che deve rimanere sempre accesa e con la porta di ingresso che deve rimanere sempre aperta per volere dei proprietari che abitano proprio accanto! dopo mezzanotte, stanche per l'impossibilità di dormire con la luce sempre accesa e i rumori provenienti dalle scale e dalla casa dei gestori, abbiamo telefonato per di spegnere e chiudere, per permetterci qualche ora di riposo... a tale richiesta i proprietari si sono messi ad urlare fuori dalla porta della nostra camera minacciosamente, abbiamo dovuto insistere dicendo che avremmo chiamato la polizia per farli smettere. l'indomani mattina presto hanno bussato insistentemente ricominciando ad aggredirci verbalmente perché volevano parlare per evitare che facessimo una recensione negativa, urlando: "un piccolo problema può diventare un grande problema rovinandoci il punteggio!!" siamo uscite dalla camera, rassicurandoli sul fatto che non ci interessava recensirli, e abbiamo chiesto di lasciarci andare a visitare la città, saremmo tornate a prendere i bagagli alle 12, ora del check out, ma ce lo hanno impedito! hanno continuato a insistere sbarrandoci il passaggio verso le scale! siamo scappate terrorizzate di corsa con i bagagli già alle 9, perché i due proprietari erano sempre più minacciosi, poco dopo hanno persino dichiarato al portale su cui avevamo prenotato che non abbiamo soggiornato (no-show) per evitare la nostra recensione negativa. probabilmente avrebbero voluto anche guadagnarci il doppio incassando il rimborso del no-show, fortunatamente avevamo pagato con carta di credito all'arrivo e non in contanti come avevano chiesto con molta insistenza! abbiamo segnalato i fatti poco dopo all'ufficio del turismo di Plovdiv, in cui non è registrata una struttura di accoglienza con il nome Guest House Fun and Rest, dunque ufficialmente questa Guest House non esiste! non fatevi rovinare la vacanza da host aggressivi che vi spiano 24 ore su 24 con la telecamera... scegliete un altro posto in cui dormire nella bella Plovdiv!

Reviewed By 13jenellehWe booked on a whim to stay here on our way to Turkey. We arrived early, in the pouring rain to find a minor mix up with our room. This was no issue though because the host very quickly sorted things and put us in a large apartment. She also lent as an umbrella!!!The apartment is so nicely decorated, very clean and well appointed. What’s more it is in a great location just on the edge of the old city. Highly recommend these apartments. Very friendly host and wonderful accommodation.

Nice place for outdoor activities
Reviewed By vladdictHonestly, the price for a night BB seemed quite high as we are talking about a rebuilt hut. Small rooms, at least clean, but without a balcony and without disposable cosmetics. There are no bathrobes in the rooms, you have to go dressed to the spa area, find the staff to receive towels and a key to wardrobes. There is no division between men and women in the locker room, only room to change. The pool was dirty and smelled of chlorine, totally unsuitable for small children. The hotel is OK only for skiers. In summer there are additional outdoor attractions, but in winter if you do not ski, there is nothing to do. There is not even a children's playground inside. The food we ordered during dinner was quite tasty, but in the morning the breakfast was simple and typical for mountain huts.

Reviewed By Tenshi66Located in the quarter of Karshiaka it is close to the center which can be easily reach by foot in 10 min. I stayed in two different apartments as I decided after a few weeks to do a long term rent. Family Milchevi is really nice and help whenever they can. The apartment are cosy and very well maintained.
