The apartment complex Mallorca Portofino is located in the west of the island, in Santa Ponsa, only 50 metres from the beach. Ideal for a great family holiday. The apartment complex offers functional and air-conditioned flats, some with sea views, for 4 to 6 people. There is an outdoor swimming pool and gym (currently closed). Numerous bars, restaurants and shops in the immediate vicinity of the apartment complex on the promenade of Santa Ponsa. Plenty of water and sports activities in Santa Ponsa: canoeing, pedal boats, banana boats, paddle surfing, etc. The beach of Santa Ponsa will make you enjoy an unforgettable holiday by the sea. You can also choose to relax on dry land: tennis courts, cycling, running sessions, etc.

Reviewed By 479maryqWe stayed here for a week as a family of 4, 2 adults, 2 children(12 & 14). What a fab place! Super clean, the whole apartment. It was so well kitted out,plenty of delph, pots pans and all you need(enough though you're on hols, still nice to have this stuff if needed). We were in a 1 bed apt. The kids had the room, 2 single beds. And we had the pull out bed in the living room. I can't tell you enough how good the quality of the púll out bed was. It was so comfortable, and very large. We had clean sheets and towels every 2 days. The cleaner offered to clean it also. The rooms were fully air-conditioned, and super black out/sun out curtains. On the balcony we had a table and 4 chairs. Also a nice pull out clothes horse attached to the wall, to dry clothes and towels. I can't rate this place enough. Very very close to the beach, and so close to restaurants and coffee shops. The 2 pools are very nice and clean, plenty of seats. Very close to 3 supermarkets that have all you need for the hols. The staff at reception are so very helpful, with excellent knowledge of the area. On hand to order a taxi if needed, and directions! So friendly and good fun. If I could rate these apartments,they would get 100 out of 100! We will be back!

Reviewed By Pinacolada179Excellent hotel and facilities. Very clean. Basic rooms but absolutely perfect for the price. Alcudia is an amazing location, the beach is gorgeous. The pool area is very well maintained. Sometimes a bit of a rush on the sunbeds but we did visit in the middle of the summer holidays so this is to be expected. Always got a sun bed but had to join the masses queuing at 8am to put the towels down! The kids splash park and on site play area is lovely as is the on site pub/restaurant and shop. Great hotel.

Plus, Adrien and Benjamin from the bar are super nice and make the best drinks !! Reviewed By sarah197832The Montelin studios are good if you want a more quiet, less hustle-bustle type of holiday. There is no reception here and if you needed assistance the Villa Concha across the road is where you would need to go. We were able to use the Villa Concha facilities, but we only did this once, as it was very busy. Sunbeds were hard to come by even with the "no towels" rule. I needed a ground floor apartment and as a family of 3 the actual room served us well. Perfect for what we wanted and it had everything one needed for a stay. Here is one of the but's.... We were in room 106 - it had zero privacy. Zero. We had to keep our curtain closed at all times because to the right of us were two more rooms in which the people staying in had no choice but to walk past our door each time they needed to leave. It was a real downer to be honest. Another but was the pool. It was poor. Too deep. Not big enough and frankly in need of a rethink. Only 2 people could use it at a time it was so small and impractical. We booked on a B&B basis and the breakfasts at the Villa Concha were lovely. Something for everyone. It gets very busy after 9am though! Our apartment at the Montelin was cleaned daily and towels replaced daily too.I do think some towels needed to be thrown away though as they were sometimes stained. The cleaner was friendly and efficient. The location was spot on. A short walk to the beach and restaurants, this suited us with mobility issues. Would I stay here again? Possibly. If I were given a different apartment that was less of a weird set up privacy wise. The pool let's it down though. It depends on what you want..... I really liked Port Pollensa, we enjoyed our first holiday in 3 years due to the pandemic and we chose a great resort.

Finca Can Duvai is located in Son Servera, 15 minutes' drive from the beach. This traditional 16th-century mansion has its own golf facilities and a seasonal outdoor pool. The charming, rustic apartments at Finca Can Duvai feature free WiFi. Each one has a kitchen or kitchenette, bathroom. There are 1 or 2 room apartments, suites and luxury suites The property has a restaurant and a bar, and there is a barbecue in the garden. With the beach located a short drive away, there are also water sports facilities on site. The property has its own driving range, putting and chipping green. There are golf courts and public tennis courts nearby. Palma Airport is around an hour's drive from the property.
Not family friendly & beware hidden charges
Reviewed By Nancy919We stayed at the finca with our 3 young children and enjoyed much of our stay but this was tainted by the attitude of the owner and the shocking hidden and made up charges on the final bill. Although the finca is stunning on first appearance and we could see the work that the owner had put into it over the years, sadly it is starting to look very tired with poor quality bobbly bedding and threadbare towels. We could happily see beyond this but other issues were unacceptable such as a broken pot being attributed to our son despite it already being broken when we arrived. The owner went to find our 6 year old son when on his own to ask him if he had broken it even though we had already told him that we knew nothing about it. The place is beautiful and filled with nick nacks found by owner but this makes it more suitable for a couples break rather than being a place that welcomes families, particularly when the owner is evidently very precious about all of his treasures. The swimming pool is also not fenced off so this again makes it highly unsuitable for those with young children. Dinners whilst a very romantic atmosphere, took many hours to be served and were rather haphazard and again very unsuitable for children as they ran out of food and our children had to go to bed without pudding as it had not emerged by 10pm (despite the meal starting at 7pm!). The worst part of the stay was the situation with the final bill at the end where items were incorrectly added on and when we pointed this out, the owner became very unpleasant. In summary, a beautiful location but unsuitable for families and spoiled by the greedy, dishonest and unpleasant nature of the owner.

Apartments are great, especially if you have older children as big separate living area with two proper beds. Bedroom and living area separated by long corridor where the bathroom is so may not be suitable if you have very young children as too far from you. The cleaning staff are fantastic and have been there for many years and always remember us. This year we had lovely outdoor private patio. All the hotel staff are lovely and again have been there for years. I just love the pool area and only time I can spend all day just looking out to sea because the view is wonderful. For first time ever in holiday I got sick due to being badly bitten on my leg which caused terrible swelling. The hotel manager arranged a doctor to visit immediately. I spent two whole days in bed which was such a shame. I really can’t imagine staying anywhere else in PP. this place has such happy memories for us and I hope our son will continue to want to visit with us every year.

Each apartment has its own terrace, a separate bedroom with twin beds (a cot if needed) and a safe (with extra charge); the living room has two sofas which can convert into two comfortable beds, TV. 32 "with satellite channels, telephone and Wi -Fi (with extra charge), fully equipped kitchen (fridge, microwave, toaster, cooker, utensils). Completely renovated bathroom with a shower and hairdryer, air conditioning (cold / hot) in every apartment. The apartments are surrounded by a simple garden with swimming pool for adults and children, solarium, sunbeds, parasols, and only 10m from the beach and with spectacular views over the bay.
Old, mouldy and outdated...
Reviewed By karinsiegumWe found the hotel through a booking agency. According to the pictures, the rooms looked nice and newly renovated. We were very surprised when we arrived. The rooms were old and smelled like mould. My daughter, who has asthma, could not breathe. We were promised that the hotel had 24/7 hour reception service. That was certainly not the case. We waited in the middle of the afternoon for more than 2 hours and no one was there. Ultimately, we had to leave. We have contacted the booking agency who keeps telling us they cannot get in contact with the hotel. We have tried to get a refund for 6 months. Still no reply. Do not ever book this hotel!!!!!

Reviewed By Lovelock78Had a lovely relaxing week here in September. Hotel is very clean and spotless. Buffet Breakfast included was plentiful with a wide choice. Pool area very clean with a relaxing atmosphere. Pool bar was good and very reasonably priced in line with outside bars and restaurants. All reception staff were very polite and helpful. Beach and bars only a short 5 min walk. I would definitely stay again.

As always we were greeted by friendly staff who remembered us which was amazing, we even had a lovely welcome fruit platter delivered which was a nice surprise! Our corner apartment was 709 on the 1st floor and had lovely views of the pool and also got the afternoon sun. We enjoyed many bottles of Vina Esmerelda on the balcony! The apartments are exceptionally well cleaned and maintained, well equipped and feel like a real home away from home. There were always plenty of sunbeds no matter what time of day and the pool area really is a little slice of heaven. Make sure you go and sample some cocktails over on the hotel terrace overlooking the sea!! Thankyou as always, we will be back!
