Reviewed By Kim HSo many choices for accomodation however I chose Ultra Broadbeach Resort for my 13 night stay visiting from Perth and my first visit to Queensland. Was very impressed with everything, staff were very helpful and friendly, location was perhaps one of the best, a 5 min walk to Pacific Fair and a 5 minute walk to Oasis Shopping centre for essentials. My room was 504 and was clean and well fitted, no complaints at all, a comfy bed, lovely balcony which I never got to use as the weather from 9-22 May was wet, wild n windy, so disappointing. Hospitality was great, dur to the weather I did some home cooking and made the best of it. Again very happy with everything at Ultra Braodbeach and a special thanks to the girls at reception

The bed was comfortable, the water pressure was superb and the unit was spacious. The carpet was new and plush and the air conditioning worked very well. We were disappointed there wasn't sufficient cutlery available for just two people and that the dinner plates were plastic, not crockery. Also, there was no body wash or shampoo supplied in the bathroom.

We would say the best accommodation we have come across in all our travels. Staff superb, space, cleanliness and position of Bel Air absolutely fabulous. Thank you ? haven’t stopped recommending this gem

Reviewed By cathys75I stayed here a few years ago so was excited about coming back. I will never stay here again. I got electric shocks from the light switches and power points (all covered with dust). Staff didn't seem to care. I had to wash all of the cutlery, crockery and pans before I used them as they were all dirty. The bed had dead insects in it. The bathrooms looked like they have never been washed. Clean towels had other people's hair on top of them. The washing machine had built up detergent in it and rubbish all around it. Never been cleaned. Curtains had about 5mm thick of dust on top of them. Furniture had gaffa tape holding it together. No batteries in the remotes.

Reviewed By EspressoTimeWe loved our stay at Aruba Sands. Honestly the location is amazing. It couldn’t get any better. It was exactly what we needed. Our children loved the pool and hot tub and it was just us in it every time we went down. The rooms had most of what we needed in it but I knew it was self contained going into it (I prefer it honestly) and it wasn’t a problem. We did a big shop at Pacific Fair on the first night and with Woolworths and easy stroll we topped up on things we forgot easily. Would have liked it there were a few more plates and bowls, only because my kids make dishes like crazy. Not a huge problem though. The workers were all lovey when we passed or if we needed anything. My only concern was that the water temperature in the shower kept changing. Not too big of a problem for my husband and I but I was concerned with letting the children shower alone. As for comment that said it was a scary backstreet and she felt unsafe. I went walking alone some nights and early some morning and never felt unsafe. Thank you Aruba Sands. We will be back.

Had to decontaminate everything and got out of there fast as I could, Lucky to find emergency accommodation elsewhere on a weekend. Terrified my bags were contaminated and some hitched a ride home. Obvious that this is an ongoing problem not adequately addressed. Zero care factor from desk staff. Never got an apology or anyone contact me for follow up, or damage control, offer a refund, not a peep. Had to chase up refund- thankfully Booking.com was very helpful and made sure this happened but took a couple of weeks. I think I got PTSD and now I think this might happen at any other holiday stay and imagine every speck is a bug! Should be shut down until the body corporate get pest control to treat the whole complex as they spread quick like ants. Its so old it should be gutted out and refurbished. Wish I could give negative stars

Noisy kept awake with a party in next room so barely got any sleep. When u need to call reception it goes to a mobile phone which they barely answer . The car park is a night mare One way up one way down very small a accident waiting to happen . So over priced and when asked for compensation they do nothing to help u . The photos on website don’t do this place any justice .

Absolutely perfect, plenty of room even for roll out bed which we could just leave set up. 5 adults and 2 children and we never felt we were getting in each other’s way. Great pool, nice and warm. Best location we could have hoped for , stroll to beach, restaurants and Oasis centre. Light rail basically at our door. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely return and have already recommended to others.
