Beautiful traditional Swiss chalet ambiance. Clean toilettes. Friendly staff. Traditional Swiss meal. I was with my family and they have enjoyed some fish for the two little children while I ate some steamed meat with vegetables. Meat was very soft and considering how critical I am with meat I have to admit that it was very well cooked with my utmost happiness. The restaurant is conveniently located about 10-15 min away from the highway A2 southbound.

Let's start with the location: just fantastic! They put a lot of effort on that and we really appreciated it.The most important thing: the quality of the meat. Extremely good! Only mine was a bit cold, but the other three dishes were perfect.Price wise, absolutely fine for the Swiss standard. The only remark we had is the price of the water. One litre of tap water can't cost CHF 9.50! It's a pity, because everything else (quality, location and price) was just perfect.Next time, we will drink just wine. Suggested.

Extraordinarily good food.Other than what is on the chalkboard inside the restaurant, there is no menu or wine list. The four course fixed price menu is what they are serving that day. Our first course was a delectable mixture of seared tuna, zucchini, capers, olives, lettuce, radicchio and who knows what else. The second course was a lemon, burrata ravioli in a butter sauce that was delicate and delicious. Third came a steak and potatoes with small pieces of rosemary, chives, eggplant, roasted peppers, kohlrabi and more. The dish was outstanding. For dessert we were served a delightful passion fruit mousse accompanied by passion fruit. By in large, the offered wines were Italian and reasonably priced. The four course menu was CHF 75 per person. We sat outdoors on the patio, but there is indoor seating as well. Service was very good.

Please note that this restaurant is NOT located in Beinwil am See, as indicated in the TripAdvisor heading, but instead in Beinwil im Freiamt - only some 20 kms away, but in a totally different location.This Alpwirtschaft has been our perennial favorite for many years, due to the the peaceful, quiet surroundings and the location with a great view into the adjacent valley, to Lake Zug and to the Alps, and also because I grew up in the vicinity. Most of the time, we come here in mid-afternoon for a drink and a small snack. Today we decided to have our farewell lunch for our present Europe-trip up here. The place has been substantially and positively renovated and upgraded since our last visit, as evidenced by the new partially enclosed external seating. We also realized that things might be a bit different today, as we saw two large tourist buses parked here. Unfortunately, our hunch was confirmed, the new very spacious back-part of the restaurant was completely filled with people from these buses, and unfortunately this put quite a strain on the service personnel and we think also on the kitchen. Due to our recent rather heavy eating engagements, we were really looking for something on the lighter side, but simple salad plates were not on the menu, other than as an accompaniment to the main courses. We all started out with the asparagus cream soup, which was pretty good. Then two of us had the pork menu, two the chicken menu and one the Zanderknusperlis. The food was fine, but not overly exciting. We will definitely try the restaurant again on a upcoming trip, and hope that it will have less of a crowd and a bit more of a shine to service and food.

A bit more up market than than all the other restaurants I visited for lunch, but this was for an evening meal. There were families, couples and us a business dinner, all suited this place fine. We were there when it was dark, but we could still see the small town on the other side of the lake all lit up. The décor was of a nice quality hotel/restaurant and the food served was great, typical Delia Smith style food in my opinion. The restaurant unfortunately is not the most romantic, but it does have a very nice modern interior.We were two pairs celebrating an anniversary and asked the chef to just create what he had and thought best for us.It is most extraordinary how Werner Tobler brings out every flavor suited to a dish. We have eaten in some of the best gourmet restaurants from France to northern Germany but his cuisine I like best. Not artificially over-enhanced, just really special, the Chef is a magician of cooking and the dishes are also beautiful to look at.The wine selection is not extensive, but very fitting to the meal, the service very attentive and friendly.His book with fantastic recipies, which can be created even if one is not a master cook, is also highly recommendable.An exceptional evening which we won't forget.

We went to Vogelsang for breakfast buffet and gladly give an excellent rating. The restaurant is beautifully located above lake sempach, has a spacious terrace with a nice view, the service was super friendly and the food very good. All of this for a very reasonable price. We will definitively come again.

I went to Marie for dinner with my family, to scope it out for a Company event for 100+ people. But the service was the worst I have ever had (compared even to Lagos Nigeria) You can not order any other food except Pizza's outside. They are the only Restaurante in the whole of Switzerland with NO CARD Maschine!! Customer Service is an Myth at Marie, like the Loch Ness Monster... It just does not exist! Prices aint cheap either. You will get much better service for a quarter of the price at the Thai Restaurante, less than 3min away...Thanks but NO THANKS... The included breakfast has only the best meats, cheeses, salmon, breads, and fruits. Made to order omelette perfectly cooked. The self-service complimented by a charming staff. The automatic express / cappuccino machine terrific. The restaurant beautifully and whimsicallly decorated. We ate here three mornings and were happily set until dinner!
