Good value stay
Reviewed By colm1Our Double Cabin was nice and clean though a bit cramped. It had good kitchen facilities and Foxtel was a bonus. It's very close to hotel and other shops. I'd stay here again and happy to recommend it.

Poor quality caravan park Marengo Apollo Bay
Reviewed By A3333DAdavidwArrived Friday 22 /04/22 at 2pm in a Mercedes sprinter Motorhome. the site measured about 10m x 5m. For a 7 night stay. Booked this as at the time Bug 4 were booked out when we explored booking 3 weeks prior. The adjoining site annex encroachment and the other side hedge, parked vehicles, narrow roadway made it very difficult to access the site. Revisited the office no other site available for another 3 days. Adjoining neighbour noisey and with large dog. Decided to leave and revisited the office and requested at least a 50% refund to allow them the fees for the 3 day long weekend. this was refused and under review refused by the manager. Now out of pocket $308.00. Fortunately the Bug 4 Pisces made a space available for us to then go onto a site the following day for the week. The staff here went aboveboard to help us. My observations and experience of Marengo: 1. Cramped park with very small sites narrow one way roadway poor amenities. 2. Front of house good customer interface 3. Maintenance staffer aggressive unfriendly and not helpful 4. Unreasonably dealt with 5. Would not recommend this substandard park and strongly suggest you spend the extra money and go to the Big4 or the G’day park at Apollo Bay. David

A great place to use as your base on the Great Ocean Road & only 10 minutes west of Port Campbell. 150 m to beach & opposite the Hotel. Spectacular coastal scenery including 12 Apostles, Loch Ard Gorge, Bay of Islands and London Bridge. Close to Otway Fly, cheese & chocolate factories & winery. Accommodation including Riverfront, Spa, Deluxe & Standard Cabins and grassed powered & unpowerdd sites. Modern amenities including disabled facilities, children’s playground & jumping pillow, Camp Kitchen, internet kiosk, camp fires welcome. TV reception available.

Reviewed By lindyh36Was our first caravan park we stayed in for our travels, friendly staff and loved how they allowed dogs, even though we left ours behind. Lovely walks along the beach and had tea - take away at local pub - meals were delicious. Great place to base yourself to sightsee, 12 apostles & Port Campbell. We will be back.

Reviewed By Janeane1965At first I was expecting an amazing stay. Staff were excellent. Photos looked fabulous. Arrival was a whole new experience. Stuck right up the back in a dirt site with a hill that made it difficult to park our van and we couldn’t extend our awning. Worst park we’ve ever stayed in and cost $75!! Never again!

Reviewed By 355jenhWe had a four night stay in a pet friendly cabin. Fish were biting in the river. Great park with two swimming pools ( inside and outside) ,games room, big room for watching television, bbq facilities, camp kitchen, tennis court, mini golf, jumping pillow and small playground. Grass sites, some with slabs. Some ensuite sites.

Great location, clean but where's the wifi?
Reviewed By John VWe had a "Deluxe 2 Bedroom Cabin" which was very clean and well maintained. Not much space between these cabins but there wasn't any noise so that wasn't an issue. Beds and lounge furniture was comfortable and the usual selection of tea bags, coffee sachets and toiletries were provided. All in all no complaints with the accommodation. The one issue we did have was with the wifi - although advertised as having wifi the connection was so unreliable and slow we gave up and ended up tethering our phones to our laptops and using mobile data so we could do what work that we needed to do. However we would stay there again, the location is good and the accommodation we had was better than we had expected.

Reviewed By lorraewestGreat park had a ensuite powered site great convenience have your own facilities. Pet friendly too so our two border collies go to come to. Staff so helpful and friendly l extended for an extra night and they fitted it in for us. will be back again soon
