After reading amazing reviews about this place, we wanted to try it out. One review said it was closed, however we decided to go anyway. Thank goodness this place was not closed!! It was fantastic, the food and the whole experience. The food was outstanding and incredibly cheap. The owner came and had a conversation with us for about 20 minutes and told us about his life and the history of Cambodia. I could not rate this place high enough. Some of the best food we've eaten, and so cheap!

Khins Shack is family business right on the beach. Unfortunately many of the surrounding restaurants and bars have turned into karaoke bars and the like. But Khins has survived thankfully and itâs an oasis for Khmer food. Being a family restaurant the everyone is involved - parents, children, cousins will Auntie cooks up a storm. The food is exquisite with wonderful Khmer flavours. Khins started in 2003 and I hope it continues for many more years. I canât recommend this place enough

Visited there everyday for two weeks. I'll tell you the reason.1. Incredible french cuisine, selection of decent wine, VSOP cognac, rums, and variety of rest.2. Everytime the boss and the chef ask you how's your food regardless of times you've been there. They make responsive fix for you even if you are picky.3. They also make something out of the list for you if you want. For example, the first day I've been there, they made curry for me regardless of the list on the menu plate.3. The last day the boss got me some present. I'll keep it as secret, but you'll get it if you really love this restaurant.4. Well-managed private beach with good relax chairs and beds. Good to swim and see the sunset. Best sunset ever. Serene and beautiful. Secret haven for lonely pilgrims.5. I'll visit there next year in Cambodia again. Because of their excellence, kindness, and the memory. Never forget.

This was the one oasis on the southern end of a horrible beach leading northwards to Sihanoukville. The food and service were excellent and so we went back for more.

This place does everything right - the service is friendly, fast and attentive, and the food is incredible. We looked at and tried lots of other places and over 9 days just ended up coming here for lunch or dinner at least once a day. We tried more then 12 dishes from the menu between 3 of us over that time, and every one is a winner. Some favourites - the ribs, OMG the ribs, if you love ribs you have to try the Coke pork ribs. If you don't like ribs, the beef fondue (in hot oil, not cheese) is incredible, easily enough for 2 people. The beef, swordfish or barracuda carpaccio. The tomato bruschetta. The chicken cordon bleu. The spring rolls are like nothing you've tried before. Go once and you'll keep going back.

Oh, the big easy. How I love thee so. Fantastic bar with a great menu, amazing staff, kick-ass happy hours, and always lively. By far the best place left in sihanoukville to eat and drink the night away. Great hostel in the back as well.

The proprietor was sweet and lovely. Food was good, but portioned very small. Prices are touristy (we live here and find many local food places for half the price or less). Overall, I would say, go visit the restaurant at least once.

It was wonderful to be able to support such a worrhwhile cafe and craft centre. Wonderful staff, great food and drinks (loved the coffee).Please make the effort to find them down the little side street near the market and support them in their great work.

This is an incredible restaurant with wonderful service and totally focused on the local people, culture and future. The concept is all about training local youngsters to have a sustainable future. However, in addition to that, the food is amazing!
