Reviewed By tbekxFive beautiful days in Koh Rong Sanloem, staying in a beachfront bungalow. We travelled in May and whilst it was grey and rainy all the way from Siem Reap to Sihanoukville, the weather on KRS was perfect. We made full use of all the on-site facilities and so enjoyed our stay. The staff were amazing, the cocktails were excellent, and the pool was beautiful. We booked our snorkeling trip, evening plankton tour and jet-ski hire through Miss Lily and were not disappointed. Many other guests we spoke to had already stayed at The One Resort before, and we will also be back for future stays. Also, book in for a beachfront dinner next door at Moonlight Resort and order the grilled crab with green Kampot pepper: Oh my!

I was able to spend a few weeks here during CORONA, and enjoyed the time tremendously, not only because of the perfect location of the hotel at the end of the fantastic beach, but also because of the wonderful care of Channy and Mao. The hotel was in top condition, the garden and the beach were well maintained, even when I was the only guest. I felt completely comfortable and was able to enjoy the time and relax during my stay. So I can recommend this hotel and in the highest tones the time here is worth every cent. Without any doubt for my point view absolute top class!

Dumping trash on the beach, they need to move it
Reviewed By 981jddsWe did a beach clean up all day. Most of the bars & resorts along the way helped to clean their space while we were doing the whole beach. However, the most trash was left on the property of Sol Beach.. When we went there to tell them they needed to clear up their trash, one disgusting staff member told us that he would ‘kick the sh## out of us’ if we came back to check it again. Please remove this trash, as if is offensive to the island, and to the planet. I will push this further if not resolved as soon as possible.

Hidden Gem near Serendipity Pier
Reviewed By Carol_The_ExplorerThis is a hidden gem near Serendipity Pier. The accommodations are very clean and the garden and pool is well maintained even during the Covid season. It's a bit outdated but definitely the best 2 star guesthouse I ever stayed in. The owners are extremely kind, they helped call a mechanic when our car wouldn't start. The restaurant is also a clean, comfortable spot to hang out with delicious food and a huge menu. Breakfast was not included in the room. The staff are also very helpful and well-trained. They anticipated needs before we even asked; from helping us book ferry tickets to arranging a ride to the pier for us. The pool is a good medium size, tucked in the back and surrounded by greenery with pretty lights at night.

Reviewed By FrankV1983- Unique location, completely off-grid, but still easy to get to, thanks to excellent logistics support by Michael - The sound of the waves day & night, the sun, the animals, the marine life, the bush are all working in concert for your wellbeing - The resort offers great activities, getting us in touch with the environment and ourselves in an easy and natural way - There is also an amazing kitchen, run by Kavita, which has a rich menu, that kept delighting us throughout our stay - Facilities are simple but excellent, with good instructions from Michael - In the evening, in the bar, there is cool music from Michael & Kavita's extensive collection (they are my age, so figures) - Internet and phone connection may very likely not work (so good to let your stakeholders know in advance), and Michael can help out when needed, but then this place is there to really disconnect - Lost sense of time almost immediately on arrival and truly refreshed

Riverside bar or beachfront area view. Lovely breakfast included. Beach 20m away. Peaceful at the end of Ocheuteal Beach with easy access to Otres beach also. A little haven away from the chaos of central Sihanoukville and the current world issues. Completely safe and definitely recommended.

Unexpected home stay
Reviewed By stevelO5235CZArrived here after staying in the Sea Breeze Resort just up the coast. Booked for 3 nights as seemed great in the photos. We arrived early so thought we would have a drink in the bar, which sadly didn't exist any longer. Everything was under 'constructuon', as can be seen in other posts. When the owner turned up, he quickly asked for the money, cash, up front which we supplied. We were given our room key and it was suggested we find our own way to the room. The picture provided was our room. I went down and asked about the fridge (still boxed), and was politely asked if I could unwrap and install it myself! AC went off during the night, so got very hot. Mysteriously came back on again of its own accord. After the second night we decided we just couldn't stay any longer and left, losing a night's stay. Owner asked for a good review. Nice accommodating guy and maybe the place for you if you want a home stay.
