We travelled in May and whilst it was grey and rainy all the way from Siem Reap to Sihanoukville, the weather on KRS was perfect. We made full use of all the on-site facilities and so enjoyed our stay. The staff were amazing, the cocktails were excellent, and the pool was beautiful. We booked our snorkeling trip, evening plankton tour and jet-ski hire through Miss Lily and were not disappointed. Many other guests we spoke to had already stayed at The One Resort before, and we will also be back for future stays. Also, book in for a beachfront dinner next door at Moonlight Resort and order the grilled crab with green Kampot pepper: Oh my!

Reviewed By Local RWe are a family of 3 including a 3 years old toddler! Spent 2 nights at Eden Beach Resort. Excellent and romantic experience with Eden Beach Resort and their wonderful staff from mainland to island and even the pre-reservation and booking went smooth and hassle free. I ordered trough Devid (The General Manager) who kept me informed and up to date throughout the whole stay and still communicate after. Everything was readymade for us with a FREE safety car indoor parking on mainland and the ferry-booking with Buva Sea pier located on Sihanoukville Port. The boat-ferry (3x250 motors) was a comfortable cozy tour even there was rain and big sea waves it wasn’t a problem at all. On arrival to Koh Rong Sanloem the boat stopped at the pier just 100 meter from the Resort but still the staff collected our bags with a tractor which we could sit on the trailer too. Check-in went super fast with chilled sofas, cold wet towels and a fresh welcome drink. My big surprise came when I saw the clean air conditioned bungalow room which I could live in for months without a doubt. There was a good double bed, bathroom, wardrobe, a table for laptop, TV with channels, Netflix, YouTube and free WiFi all over the Resort. I loved the swimmingpool because after a hot time on the beach I wanted a cleaner swimming than the light blue sea with sand and the infinity pool still had an overview to the beach and sea. At the restaurant we got top notch service from Sarath (Restaurant Manager), he offered me American Breakfast, American coffee as I didn’t like the buffet and khmer coffee. Even there was very busy with Chinese and Khmer customers the staff and Mr Sarath still took themselves time to treat us as VIP with conversations and they even played and looked after my son. Big thanks ? Checkout and the boat ferry tour back went as perfect as on arrival. Only minus was that the Bungalows didn’t have seaview and that we didn’t have more than two days at this awesome Resort ? We paid everything mentioned above at the Resort with ABA bankCard at checkout. On this Island there’s Waterfall, Plankton Swimming, Monkeys, Lazy Beach with waves, Sunset Beach, Bay Beach and a Lighthouse. We will definitely come back and stay here. ☀️?

Dumping trash on the beach, they need to move it
Reviewed By 981jddsWe did a beach clean up all day. Most of the bars & resorts along the way helped to clean their space while we were doing the whole beach. However, the most trash was left on the property of Sol Beach.. When we went there to tell them they needed to clear up their trash, one disgusting staff member told us that he would ‘kick the sh## out of us’ if we came back to check it again. Please remove this trash, as if is offensive to the island, and to the planet. I will push this further if not resolved as soon as possible.

Reviewed By Kelly OWe were staying at Saracen Bay and took the difficult hike to Sunset beach. The beach is amazing and has four bar/restaurants on. We walked the length of the beach and tried every one. The only one we were given a warm welcome in and had vegan options in was Sunboo. The people there were friendly, open to talking us through their menu and the options we could have as vegan and veggie. A marked difference between this place and the other places on the beach. I would highly recommend this place for the ambiance and the food.

Exceptionally clean
Reviewed By Bonnie SWe stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed ourselves. It was an oasis with all the construction around and the dusty road in front. The staff was constantly cleaning fighting the dust and were very always there to help with whatever we needed. The food in the restaurant was great and we ate there often. We found 2 other restaurants nearby. The pool was lovely and refreshing. We didn't have any trouble finding a lounge chair. Loved having a small patio where we could sit and have our morning coffee.

The staff is super kind (especially a guy who just started working there 4 days before we arrived, and the one guy who welcomed us and introduced us to the facilities) The place is clean and rooms are nice. The mini bar and food at the restaurant is quite is expensive as any place on the island compared to the rest of Cambodia. They have kayaks and padel boards for you to use for free, though they aren’t in the best condition no more. The wifi is good

It’s perfect for relaxing or getting away from crowded for it’s a private resort. The resort surely has much upgraded comparing to the reviews from the other travelers in the past few years. The room is neat, comfortable, and of course with affordable price. It’s a perfect spot for sightseeing, where we can see the sea view from the above and it’s absolutely stunning, especially when the sun rise and the sun set. The foods are awesomely delicious and there are various choices on the menu, so we don’t need to worry about getting starve on the island. For those who are planning to stay on long vacation, you’re surely survived here! Most people probably think that it’s hard to find something to eat on the island, but the resort surely has most of the things and ingredients to prepare wonderful dishes for the visitors/customers/traveller. All in all, it’s beyond expectations and really enjoy it here at Sonloem Laguna Resort!

10 Rustic ocean front bungalows where you can take in the stunning views of one of the best beaches in Cambodia, with the most beautiful white sand stretching for 500meters. A secluded paradise where you can forgo the trappings of the modern hustle and bustle for the quiet castaway lifestyle. Located on the eastern side of Koh Rong samloem Island which is 19 klm from the Cambodian coastal town of Sihanoukville. Explore the jungle and river safely with our local tour guides, there’s monkeys in the jungle to be admired from afar and we even have turtles in the river that runs under the restaurant, 15 at last count. On a moonless night we have phosphorescent algae, it lights up around you when you swim but only on a really dark night with no moon or waves. Enjoy our Restaurant and bar where we have fresh seafood and BBQ or you can have the staff train you to cook local Khmer food.. We have snorkeling at both ends of the beach and plenty of snorkelling gear to hire.

Reviewed By SchhelSpent a few nights there with family. Bungalow are basic, but face the sea and have A/C, which is a nice bonus considering the relatively low price. The bungalows have 1 large bed and 1 single bed, so a bit tight for a family of 4. The beach is kept clean, however the restaurant area is quite run down. The menu is very limited and khmer only. No fruit, smoothies, juices, etc, but if you ask they can make an omelette or pancake. Descent stay overall, but definitely not the most scenic part of the island. There is a large construction site nearby and quite a bit of deforestation. Options for food are limited as the other hotels have expensive and not so inspiring food.
