Koper (Slovene pronunciation: [ˈkoːpəɾ] ( listen)) (Italian: Capodistria) is a city in southwestern Slovenia, with the other Slovenian coastal towns Ankaran, Izola, Piran, and Portorož, situated along the country's 47-kilometre (29-mile) coastline, in the Istrian Region, approximately five kilometres (3.1 miles) from its border with Italy. Having a unique ecology and biodiversity, it is considered an important national natural resource. The city's Port of Koper is the major contributor to the economy of the eponymous city municipality. With only one percent of Slovenia having a coastline, the influence that the Port of Koper also has on tourism was a factor in Ankaran deciding to leave the municipality in a referendum in 2011 to establish its own. The city is a destination on a number of Mediterranean cruising lines. In 2016, the city expects 65 cruise ship arrivals (for example: Norwegian Spirit, MSC Magnifica, Norwegian Jade, MS Rhapsody of the Seas...) with the season spanning from March to December. Koper is the main urban centre of the Slovenian Istria, with a population of about 25,000.

I don't know where to start...okay some of the food we ordered for example pizza wasn't so bad but spaghetti bolognese were literally the last thing I would ever ate. We shouldn't foget the waitresses. Their attitude was bad, one of them looked like she was sick of us, she didn't even bother to bring us some water when we asked twice and overall she seemed rude.

I'm sure that it is difficult to get better coffee in the radius of few kilometers around! It would be unfair to say that they have the best coffee in Koper! Top 5 for sure! If you are around the place jump by you will never regret, the stuff is very nice!

What can I say, awesome atmosphere, delicious food,...at very low prices. Have been here on numerous occasions and enjoy it every time, cheerful staff always polite and helpful.You can order pizza or grilled food. Definitely a place to revisit!

I m not a fun of this kind of ice cream. I prefer simple tastes. You can make you own ice cream with the basic flavour and then they have 100 ingredients to add to your order or taste. I wish I have that kind of Ice cream when I was younger. However you can enjoy it if you are still a child in your heart :)

Best locations over looking the sea can invariably be a bit of a 'rip off', especially September in the sunshine - but not here.We chose sea bass fillets with chips and salad for 7 euros a head or thereabouts and a glass of chardonnay 3.5 euros and it was all very nice.

Stopped her for a drink while in Koper for the day. Had a great beer called Waterloo, my wife enjoyed a wine and my daughter a coffee and the free WiFi.Waitress spoke English and was very friendly.

Loved this place ... Tried a great local IPA and the atmosphere was awesome. They have a piano and some old records. The bartender (sorry I forgot your name but the cute guy with tattoos!) was really friendly and helpful... Koper is a small town and I wouldn't hesitate to say this is the best bar around!
