I came here with my family after searching on TripAdvisor â it was superbbb!! We really had a nice time, the owner and the staff were very very nice, place was clean, near the attraction site and the food was VERY DELICIOUS! Do make sure you tried for their lamb and meatballs.. the durum kebab is also very good, we also had hummus with the bread and cant stop munching! Worth it! I highly recommend this place! :)

We came here after our visit to the nearby Rainbow Stairs and I extremely glad that we did.The owner Khalil Ibrahim is very gracious, hospitable, very generous and accommodating. Our wait person Mitin was outstanding. Very friendly and prompt. The food was authentic and delicious. Lots of different Turkish and Middle Eastern dishes. A fabulous selection of all the most popular breakfast items: hummus, labne, variety of cheeses and jams, green and black olives, fresh tomatoes and cucumbers, Zaatar with olive oil and olives salad.We were also served fresh pomegranate juice and a pitcher of Turkish tea.Needless to say to say, the food was plentiful for the three of us.I highly recommend it and it for sure one of the best finds in Istanbul. A guest from a country whıch has such a great cuısine.. you are wellcome here. your comments made us very happy.in the mean time we are planing to visit your place for further taste searching. We have eaten here a couple of times over the last few days. Prices are reasonable and they serve alcohol. Staff is great. We had ordered a meal that was a little over cooked our 3rd time here but they quickly replaced it for us without hesitation. Ask for Adnan he is a great host!

This restaurant was a short walk from my hotel.. I ordered the menamen, sausage and fruit granola. Everything was on point. Then the bill came.. their credit card machine was not working so the owner said âthis is a gift from meâ! Instead I gave him $10 US dollars (since I did not have Turkish Liras). This cafe offer you anything you want. Staff is very friendly and the place is Down to Earth. The owner make homemade lemonata and Its the best you can have When Its hot. If you want to play tavla ore watch an international footballmatch the cafe have programs for that. I give my best recomendation. I will be back.

If you fail to visit Harab'be on your visit to Istanbul, you would have done you, your friends and your family a grave disservice.You won't find better shisha anywhere else, and Emrah et al. make you feel like Harab'be is your second home. We spend every single evening there because we loved it so much. We can't wait to return!

This is a late review for an evening dinner in August 2019. Myself and five others (family/friends) visited Mitara and had a wonderfdul meal and overall experience at Mitara. Nazan was an incredible, generous, knowledgeable and engaging host (with some great travel stories to tell!) and frankly every dish she brought out (we just trusted her to it, and were glad we did) was a highlight. Even experimental after dishes like her risotto (brought out as a late-meal flourish) was superb, tasty and surprising - and even the lemonade has a story behind it.The living-room/house/gallery-cum-restaurant is rather undersold by just being called an eating place. And our experience is undersold by just calling it a meal.A gleaming jewel of an evening within our (already brilliant) Istanbul trip.

We always use the restaurant when we are in town,its always good,clean and atmospheric . It sits at the bottom of a narrow road joining onto the tram route road (there are no cars on these roads so no exhaust pollution if you eat outdoors. The menu is much like many others but the food is first class and price very reasonable when you consider beads,tea and a sweet after diner taster is included. Service is quick and friendly. The best seating is outdoors but covered and heated if needs be.The Anatolian Kebab and the casserole cooked in the sealed clay pot and broken open at the table are among the best choices but all is good.
