I will start by saying I was shocked this restaurant had so many good reviews a d that they must be bribing people for reviews. While we were asked to write a review there was no bribery involved and the 5 stars were absolutely earned. Our waiter Sami was very friendly, lots of freebees (bread with spread, tea, baklava, ice cream), and good food. We would definitely come back

highly recommend this restaurant. The food is great and you will be very well looked after. Get a table on the fifth floor and enjoy the views.Order the Haloumi with Pomegranate sauce The Best! Also the prawn casserole.Thanks Adnan and colleagues. Wed love to come back.

Indeed the restaurant is slightly delocalised compared to major places to visit, but it is certainly worth the trip.Warmth welcoming and good advices from the waiters. It's definitely not a tourist trap.Large choices of dishes but special mention to kebabs that are truly divine.Even the prices are fair enough and won't make you jump out of your chair.Don't miss this place!

There are many different restaurants all around Istanbul, but Mesopotamian Terrace Restaurant stands out! Delicious Food, Great Service and Unbelievably Beautiful Surroundings. We sat at the Rooftop in spite the evening chill - but it was well worth it. We dined under the stars with both Hagia Sofia and the Blue Mosque around us. Splendid - Awesome view as we savored the various entrees we ordered as suggested by the Chef-Owner-Waiter :)Indeed a memorable dinner to start off our Istanbul vacation.

Inside, the restaurant isn't very big. We stayed on the terrace because the weather was warm.Two starters were on the house and because they didn't had the hummus we ordered, we recieved an eggplant salad free.Adana kebap very good taste.Lamb chops... I could eat 20 pieces :)Spicy shrimps particular good taste.Mix fish plate for 2 very fresh and tasty. Fried calamary good. Serving was attentive. Prices are good. We had baclava, tea and coffee on the house. The don't tax service on the bill.
