Top 10 Bed and Breakfast Inns in Utah, United States

April 19, 2023 Jana Sager

Welcome to “The Greatest Snow on Earth” – Utah’s paradise for all outdoor enthusiasts! As host of the 2002 Winter Olympics, Park City knows how to entertain winter fun seekers. Snowboarders and skiers head for miles of spectacular slopes with deep fluffy powder and breathtaking mountain views. The Olympic Park provides family-friendly ski programs, rides and shows. Alta, Sundance, Snowbird and Brighton are other popular destinations for cross country and Alpine skiers. Those alluring snowy slopes turn to rolling wildflower fields in the summer. Golfing, fishing, horseback riding and water sports replace chilly outdoor sports adventures. Corral the family, pack a picnic and catch one of the ski lifts for an afternoon of hiking or mountain biking along scenic trails. Head to Salt Lake City, where Temple Square hosts millions of visitors a year. Bryce Canyon and Arches National Park are famous for surreal landscapes from horseshoe-shaped amphitheaters to unusual rock formations and hundreds of natural sandstone arches. Closer to home, wander along the quaint main streets of mountain villages to browse, shop and enjoy lunch at an outdoor café. At the end of the day, head home for an outdoor barbecue and an evening of games. Home rentals blend privacy, space and comfort with the cost-saving advantage of eating some meals at home.

Nice modern house in Tropic

Two couples stayed at the 21 on 12 house. The house is large, modern, and clean. A big kitchen and table that easily handles a large family. It is beside the motel office where we bought breakfast. Also next to a convenience store. I would stay here again. The only complaint was slow service to get food.

Great place to stay! It is close, but out of the way and lovely.

We arrived on 1 June and checked out on 4 June. Upon arrival, Jenn greeted us with their dog, Louie. We picked up our key and Jenn told us what we needed to know about our room, breakfast the next morning, and a few other tidbits. She was terrific and was very welcoming! The next morning we met Scott during breakfast. He was very engaging and helped us get a reservation to Arches National Park for that afternoon. The property is lovely and the views spectacular. It is quiet and peaceful. The ride into town or to the various parks are well, well worth the fifteen or so minute drive from the Inn. The breakfast all three days were very good! We highly recommend the Castle Valley Inn Bed and Breakfast for your stay in Moab. You won’t be disappointed.

Lovely Stay at Bluff Gardens

The cabins are brand new, and beautifully appointed. They are large, with a full kitchen, living room with comfortable couches, and a separate bedroom. Very nice outdoor patio and garden. Very good, scenic location, close to Monument Valley. You can tell that it is a labor of love for the owners, as careful attention has been paid to even the smallest detail of the furnishings and decor, to make the cabin comfortable and homey. The owner was very helpful, and we would highly recommend staying here. We also received outstanding value, as the cabin was very reasonably priced.

The shower a little tricky but directions are in the folder in the room. The breakfast was wonderful and filling. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are close or passing that way.

Cozy Hotel

Reviewed By Curiosity63466809180

Our family stayed here one night; our room had two queen beds, a light and shelf with plugs between the beds, a bench at the bottom of each bed, a large dresser with a tv, a sink outside the bathroom ( not in view of the beds) and a toilet/bathtub room with a wall dispenser for shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. There was not a chair, table, phone, hair dryer ( tho could get one from the office), fridge, or microwave. So the room was sparse, but water pressure was great, towels were generous, beds and linens were comfy and the view of the mountains we could enjoy from our bed was amazing. The room was very comfortable and charming. Continental breakfast was excellent coffee, good quality teas, some fruit, granola bars and danish. I think it an excellent choice for a shorter stay. We were disappointed that we could not sit outside and enjoy the views, but it was too windy.

The hotel is old but has been kept up very nicely. Our bathroom look fairly new and clean. The room was very clean also. The owner must come between the hours of 3-7 pm for check in. I would stay at this hotel again. It came with a large screen tv and had Netflix also. Tropic is small but we found everyone to be very nice

Wonderful

We stayed in the Gable Suite with two adults and two kids in April 2022. Scott and Barbara were awesome. Due to weather delays, we arrived after 5pm, and they were really cool about it. I think they delayed their dinner plans because of our late arrival. Despite that, Barbara welcomed us when we arrived and showed us around the house and our suite. The next morning, she showed us more of the house after we ate breakfast, which was delicious. Wish we had stayed more than one night. A great experience and we hope to be back.
