Hotel H1 has 12 comfortable and air-conditioned rooms in a building without floor and consist of Twin room, double and familiales. They have modern bathrooms with hot water. Equipment: Indoor phones, TV flat screen 26 "with satellites channel. Environement very clean.
Guaranteed air con and very good hot shower
Reviewed By David RHotel H1 is a small hotel chain found in several of the larger cities/tourist destinations around Madagascar. After a few hotel shockers during our month in the country we found ourselves staying in a Hotel H1 wherever we could. We stayed twice in this particular H1 in Tamatave as it was so comfortable and much needed after a long, hot taxi brousse trip from Antananarivo and ferry+taxi brousse travelling back the other way. The air conditioning was spot-on, the bed was very comfortable, it was quiet considering it was in the middle of a city. The restaurant next door/in-house (we couldn't figure out if it was actually part of the hotel or not) met our needs perfectly and provided a friendly welcome.

Reviewed By Witold SAfter a log travel accross Sainte Marie and a boat to Nttes you reach shaggy bungallows with hardly any comfort. The owner is an unhelpful arrogant Frenchman. The prices are twice the surrounding places. No beach. Dirty nothing. The worst place I have visited ever.

Reviewed By 12yaapIts quiet and clean and clean hotel. The garden is big and the pool though not very deep is a plus to the hotel. There is a restaurant on spot and the food just taste right and good. Hotel placement is in town and very close to other shops restaurants markets and a stone throw to the beach. I recommend this hotel to everyone tourists who passes through TOAMASINA.

Reviewed By franbar17Deux nuits passées dans ce petit établissement composé de bungalows posés sur le rivage. La plage n'est pas exceptionnelle pour se baigner (présence d'herbier et de roches…), mais le cadre est sympathique, les repas corrects. Un petit bémol sur le tarif de la nuit hors saison (30000 ariary négociés, alors que d'autres établissements similaires proposent 20000). Petite boutique souvenirs sympa aussi.

Wonderful surprise!
Reviewed By deborahm255A group of us rented 5 bungalows for our stay in Andasibe. It was so easy to rent with this hotel via email; they responded to all emails within an hour and were always very clear in their responses. When we arrived, we were all pleasantly surprised by how lovely the hotel is. The bungalows are adorable from the exterior and on the inside they are large, sleek, clean and modern. The shower is particularly impressive. Very modern with excellent water pressure and hot water to boot! The staff was welcoming and accommodating. Due to recent COVID lock-down, our hotel was one of the few places in town stocked with groceries and able to serve us delightful meals. (The zebu was a favorite among our group.) We did not swim, but the pool looked clean and inviting. We loved hearing the beautiful call of the Indris from our bungalows! The only "con" but really not a deterrent is the location. You have to drive through the marketplace. When the market is taking place, it's a tight squeeze, but this would not deter me from staying here again. This is the 3rd lodge I have tried in Andasibe and, for value for money, this one ranks as number 1. We'll definitely return!

Reviewed By NiclasborahaThis place really deserves its name. It simply is a paradise that makes you feel at easy from the start as you get your welcome drinks. The Bungalows are 3 meters from the turquoise water and cleaned every day. Warm water for showering and safety box included. The food is delicious and always fresh. There is however also the possibility to eat at restaurants that are 15 minutes away. You can rent a scooter to travel the island for a reasonable price as well! We'll definitely be back!
