Reviewed By Jenny FExcellent location down a quiet street just a short walk down the old railway track in to town and the night market. Great coffee served free with the rooms. The rooms are great value for money, nicely decorated and very large and there is a very good cafe/restaurant. The staff are very helpful.

Reviewed By 692kristStayed here for 3 nights, Room was clean and spacious. There’s a 7-11 around and several Taiwanese breakfast places nearby. The lady at the reception was very helpful, she’s given me a map with all the must try local restaurants, and sightseeing places that are popular. Will stay here again Highly recommended !!

The area of the Ville exceeds 35,000 square meter with a wide field of meadow and awesomely extensive view, excellent for picnics, for playing Frisbees or for stars watching. We provide the most excellent value and considerate services. All Bicycles in the Ville are prepared for use for free-of-charge. Services of transportation to and from the train station is available. There is no better choices than Ville Greensward for your stay in Taitung.

Reviewed By w0rldwandererLarge green open spaces. You can use their bicycles to cycle around. Fruit and vegetable farms all around yet so near town. Beautiful clean and well appointed big rooms. Breakfast healthy and very filling! Homemade soya milk.. good quality coffee. Rooms look out to greenery. Mountains around . We stayed in the family room with 2 big beds and a nice sitting cum TV area. They can deliver breakfast to your room too. Well worth the price. You can tell a good minsu from the decent toiletries amand the quality of food and towels etc. I would stay here again . Great for kids!! Plenty of space for them to run around !!!

We are a Greece type building hostels, occupy ground 700 pings, There is total of 13 only 2, 4, 6 people's building,Hostel outside both sides each the big arbor with a Greece type, Another have laundry , living room, and tea to be provided for guest to use. Facing the huge scenery is our biggest advantage, It is a beautiful hostel.
Basic beach hostel accommodation with a great view
Reviewed By BayjbSanasai Inn is a good basic backpacker accommodation option on Green Island. Yes, if is outdated, but if weather is good, you’re not in the room much. Pros: - View of Taitung, the ocean and sunset literally outside - Staff speaks good English. Not everyone speaks it but most do - Located outside of the Main Street so there is no loud evening noise or traffic outside - Bed mattress is thin but pretty comfortable and the bed units are so tall, you can stand in them, and offer good privacy - Air con comes in to the beds through a vent, awesome! - Plenty of showers - Electric scooters are available for rent. Fair price. And they are new and very easy to ride. Really enjoyed them - They will pick you up and drop you off for the ferry Items to be aware of: - It is not near the Main Street so without a car or scooter, it’s about a 20 min walk - The entire lodging is run down. It needs major updates. It’s not uncomfortable or unclean, but old. Especially the kitchen and bathrooms. For the cost, I wish it was a tad nicer - Only one western toilet, so that is always taken - Breakfast is toast and spreads and coffee. None are great. But if you don’t want to walk in to town, that’s an option - WiFi doesn’t have an official network and it seemed a little shady to use. But if you need it, it’s available - The dorms are right by the lobby and reception so it gets LOUD. Reception opens at 8am but it gets loud starting at 6-7am. Not great - Rooms are small, especially the four bed female dorm. There is no real luggage storage and gets very crowded quickly if it’s full Considering this is a beach place, none of these were major dealbreakers for me, especially with the rise in domestic tourism due to Covid. If you’re looking for a place and this has an opening, it’s not a bad option, but just go in eyes wide open. For a night or two, it’s not bad. But if weather is bad, I probably wouldn’t want to hang out here for a prolonged period of time.

Clean but a bit lacking in character
Reviewed By NorthumberlandAlfWe ended up here as our booked accommodation couldn’t take us. The hotel has a beautiful garden and rooms are immaculately clean but a bit spartan as is the breakfast. Host was helpful giving us a shuttle to town to eat. If you are arriving by bicycle it is a long way up the hill out of the town.

Reviewed By rita l3樓房間浴室排水很慢，加上水量大，浴室很快就小積水，排水系統需改善。房內無桌子，只有電視牆下延著牆面的層板可放物品。有兩張高腳椅，沒作用。無衣櫃，衣服吊牆上卦勾。陽台空間滿大，卻完全沒可曬衣的簡易衣架繩子，滿可惜的。早餐則是民宿後方的美而美，訂房順便點餐。管家客氣有禮貌，很棒！

Reviewed By WeisbearThe BnB is only 5min walking distance from the train station. The owner was easily reachable via WhatsApp (easy & fast communication - but only in Chinese/with Google translate). The (local style) breakfast is at another BnB (100m along the street), the room was small but clean. Unfortunately, the WiFi is rather weak if you stay on the top floors.

Clean, friendly place
Reviewed By CassavaHKWe stayed here for two nights. We had the quad room with two king size beds. The room was very big and spacious. The TV had English channels, had a kettle with cups and teas but probably take your own tea bags. Had all toiletries and hair dryer. Pros: friendly, great location with 7-11 around the corner and near a lot of shops and restaurants. Clean rooms and comfy bed Cons: a bit noisy as our window was right by the street level, no lift so if you have lots of bags ask for 2nd floor, bathroom had a little foul smell, could do with more lighting. Slight mold smell in the room.
