Beautiful place, amazing views, always friendly and happy to help Tatiana and Jose, also the hotel has such a good location. High recommend!

Reviewed By hans-jaguarOn our way home after our tour in Spain we stayed one night in the hotel “Rock star” in the place called “Taboadela”. This is a nice not too big hotel on the border of the road, with a private parking. At the reception the welcome was very warm and friendly on our arrival. Our room on the first floor and had a real good size, very nicely decorated, with a private bathroom and a great TV. The breakfast is served into the room, you have to call with the room-phone to order it, and a few moments later you have your breakfast. We can tell that we have passed a good night of sleep, even if the hotel is on the street border, you do not have any street noise into the room. The surrounding area of the hotel has an outside bar (Used only in summer) and the garden is well maintained. We can warmly recommend this hotel, and will certainly return there when we are traveling in the area.

Room was spacious with double window overlooking the street. Good sleep quality. Parking at rear. Shower was excellent. Restaurant was good and cafeteria was very handy.

The casa rural is wonderful in a restored building the rooms and beds are very comfortable and the people are as nice as can be. The garden is nice to sit in after a long day of traveling. Highly recommended.

Reviewed By dexxyAberystwythI was pleasantly surprised by Casa Caldelas. Yes, it is only rooms and a lounge but the positives far outway the negatives. Spotlessly clean, comfortable beds, excellent shower and very helpful staff. The village is quiet and within easy distance of a fine Bodega which was recommended for some Ribiera Sacra wine tasting. Breakfast is the let down. Very basic and not a lot of choice.

As a result of COVID they were unable to honor this assuring us we would be able to use this at any time in the future. Although we communicated with them many times subsequently they still refused to honor it. Sadly, they had never informed us they had reneged on this until we contacted them to rearrange it. The hotel kept all of our money.

The best getaway one could hope for
Reviewed By carolinef5610We have just returned from a weekend in Ribeira Sacra, and a stay in Pazo da Pena, and we could not have been more delighted with our experience. We stayed in one of the suites, which was beautifully decorated and just the most amazing room, for what they offer we thought that the price was fair and were not disappointed with the amenities at all. The service, however, is what really stands out. The two ladies that attended us were faultlessly kind and friendly, very enthusiastic and this really made the trip for us. We very much enjoyed the free tour that they give every evening at 7pm around the house, explaining all the corners and the history of the house and it's restoration. They have lovingly and respectfully restored the building and its surroundings to an admirable level and we were enchanted by the whole thing. The lady who gives the tour is also very enthusiastic and explains extremely well. They even have complimentary liquor from the area available to guests and many common spaces. Thank you very much to all and we hope that we will be back very soon!
