Maybe it was the still air that allowed gnats to get to us on the back deck. Maybe it was the plastic glasses which made the salt rim on my margarita inaccessible. Maybe it was being charged normal prices ($13?) for a happy hour drink ($7?). Maybe it was the big chunks of red onion in the guacamole. The gazpacho is puréed, just so you know if you expected small chunks you’re prepared. Corn salad was interesting, nachos hum-drum. For $120 for four of us (plus 20% tip for friendly attentive waiter) I just expected something better.Hello and thank you for taking the time to provide feedback regarding your experience at Buckets. We are sorry to hear that you left feeling disappointed in your visit and hope that you'll visit again so that we can provide you with a Buckets experience that is more reflective of the laid back vibe & delicious eats that our guests have come to know and love.

There are flies. Horrible flies. We have eaten at all outdoor or partially outdoor restaurants and some flies are expected. However at the Burger Bar I had 8 on me alone at one time. Nothing done to alleviate the problem. I asked specifically if something I am allergic too was included with my meal was assured not. Then when food arrived it was on the plate. Asked for another plate to transfer food and was brought a bowl. Do not waste money or time there with other wonderful places to eat in Stone Harbor.

Ben was personable, attentive and one of the best waiters ever. Our party ordered a variety of food and drinks, all of which were fantastic. However, Ben is what made our luncheon so enjoyable. He was there every time someone had a request. Thank you Ben. The Windrift is lucky to have you.Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience. Having been here several times in the past, we realized that this restaurant will not be in our future. Despite giving a lot of prior notice that we were a table of 7, they insisted on having us squeeze seven people into a round table for 6. I saw several other people at Round Tables of 6 with more than 6 people pointing at the large tables which were unoccupied and they were denied the opportunity to sit comfortably. Right next to us was a long rectangular table never occupied throughout the night. The waitress was very inconsistent and to some tables gave a nice introduction and to others had a scowl on her face and was rather miserable. No one smiled. The place was very humid and rather uncomfortable. After each interaction with a serving staff, we all looked at each other rather curiously why these people were actually servers since they were so miserable. We once asked what one of the following words meant on the menu and were responded to in a very condescending explanation and tone of voice. It really it was just a negative interaction from the time we arrived. It's a miracle that people still go to this restaurant in my opinion not because of the food but because the experience itself was Dreadful..There are so many better choices. We are really appalled to hear this feedback about our staff. We take any allegations of rudeness very seriously and will address with the team. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

My husband and I ate here on a night when it was pouring rain. Although it was late, we were unable to book a reservation online and just walked in. We were seated right away. It’s nicely decorated with a nautical theme. I had the shrimp tacos which were wonderful and my husband had the portobello sandwich which he enjoyed. I tried a special cocktail ( blood and sand?) which was ok. They have an extensive beer menu which was great for my husband. Will return!

we had dinner here and were very disappointed with the food prep. I mean this is basically bar food, which is hard to mess up. But the shrimp in my po' boy was way overdone. The same for the french fries. Both bad - not bad enough to send back but bad enough to say I don't know what the attraction is other than that the place has been here forever. Lots of other better choices in town. Service was good.
