The atmosphere is nice and relaxing, laid back. The food is all so fresh. The pimento spread was my favorite as an appetizer and on my cheeseburger as shown in the picture. When we received the cheese ball I asked the waitress if any nuts were used because I have an allergy. The waitress checked and notified us that no there were no nuts in the spread but she remembered that I ordered the veggie burger and told me that the burger had nuts. The veggie burger seems to be what they are known for and I was very excited to try it. I did not see a nut warning on the menu , but I may have easily overlooked it. I am very thankful for the attentiveness of our waitress to catch this and save me from having a dangerous reaction. The beef burger was delicious, even though I wanted the veggie ! We enjoyed our visit and everyone had something they liked !! I can easily say I recommend.

Great food, good service; lovely ambiance. My wife and I enjoyed a bottle of wine, the shrimp and grits appetizer, she crab soup, and a filet with barbecue shrimp. The wine by the bottle is very fair priced. The appetizer and soup were delicious. The filet and shrimp were also good. The steak was prepared properly. All in all, a very good to excellent experience. Would certainly return.

We ate here on a Saturday evening. We had researched restaurants âoff the beaten pathâ and Prohibition was listed. Not sure why, considering their location. However, we were glad to have found them. We also made reservations ahead of time. Upon entering the restaurant, the atmosphere took us to the early 1900âs. The decor was very nice.We had ordered from the âRestaurant Weekâ menu, which allowed us an opportunity to sample their dishes.For our appetizers, we had the Brussels Sprouts and the Burrata Salad. For the main courses, the Pork Chop and their take on Shrimp and Grits. Our desserts were Peach Cobbler and a slice of Dark Chocolate Tart (I recommend having coffee with the tart).Our meals were incredible. The Pork Chop was very tender, the Shrimp and Grits was amazing. I also had ordered a Brown Derby cocktail, two in fact. The cocktails were delicious and most importantly, consistent.Our server was attentive and provided excellent service. On our next trip to Savannah, we will return here to try other dishes on their menu. If you want fresh and delicious meals, we HIGHLY RECOMMEND eating here.

While the veggie tacos and grilled cheese and soup were great, the standout menu option was steak, eggs and grits. Youâll get a huge plate with flank steak cooked to order, drizzled with a perfect chimichurri sauce, on top of a huge pile of Gouda-studded grits. Iâm smiling just thinking about it. To drink, they have four really unique Bloody Mary options (Bloody Tommy if you love spicy verde) and a truly delicious collection of cold brew coffee-based cocktails (try the Southern Russian!) $12 bottomless mimosas are always a win; when youâre ready to leave, youâll even get a Togosa (to-go mimosa) to sip as you stroll. Nope. Nothing ordinary here!

WOW ! What a great hidden gem. This downstairs tapas bar was amazing. A really cool decor and great bar. There was live music but not too loud so you could have a conversation. They had some really inventive specialty drinks but the real star of this show is the food. These small tapas plates were bigger than most and allowed us to try and share several delicious dishes without spending a fortune. The Lamb Chops were out of this world. If we go back to Savannah we will definitely go here again. From our atmosphere to the lamb chops, we're thrilled everything impressed, Michael. Stopped in on a Sunday afternoon while walking around Savannaâs Historic District. It is a few blocks from anything but worth the walk. They say there is nearby parking but because I was walking I didnât pay attention if there is a lot. There was plenty of street parking.CBP is a large place with a long bar, a couple different dining spaces, with tables, booths and high-tops. Several TVâs were tuned to NFL football but the sound was off or low. The feeling was much more a historic neighborhood gathering place than a sports bar. The crowd seemed equal parts locals and tourists. The bartender and servers were welcoming, quick with recommendations and eager to please. I mentioned to my server a family member with a number of food allergies and she immediately provided an allergy-informed menu, emphasized their practice to avoid cross-contamination of fryers and suggested calling ahead to confirm conforming ingredients and preparation. This was impressive and more consideration than Iâve experienced at much more expensive restaurants.So the important thing is the food, right? The menu is long with offerings to satisfy any taste. Seafood, pasta, salads, burgers, special meat and fish entrees and deserts. I enjoyed the meatloaf burger with sautéed veggies. The meatloaf was served on a bottom bun, topped with a hefty helping of mashed potatoes, all covered with beef gravy. Delicious! Observing others it was apparent people were choosing from all sections of the menu and several people commented they couldnât finish their dish. I finished my meal with âGeorgiaâs best peach cobblerâ with ice cream. It, too, was a large portion, served hot with vanilla ice cream. Hard to finish but even harder not to!Whether a local or a tourist, Iâm confident you will find friendly service, a great meal and a high-value experience well worth the short walk to CBP. It is not a five star or five dollar-sign restaurant. Itâs just a comfortable place with good food.My internal compass tells me it is located on an imaginary line between the Residence Inn and Forsyth Park.

We stopped in for drinks following our dinner at the Olde Pink House. This place is very cool. It's in the basement level of the Olde Pink House and has very low ceilings, stone walls, etc. It feels like you're in on a great secret. There was live piano music and there were candles lit along the bar. It's dark and cozy and a great place to visit.

We were seated on the back porch. The rain made the ambiance perfect today. We started with the crab dip. It was a warm cheesy dip served with French bread. We had the firecracker shrimp tacos and seared tuna tacos. The shrimp were awesome and the tuna was encrusted with tasty rub. I appreciate you taking the time to leave us a nice review here on Trip Advisor. That was quite a rainy day we had on Saturday. I am glad you enjoyed your visit and I hope to serve you again soon.
