Truly a beautiful location within the canyon of Aliso Beach. Not on a regular basis but I've enjoyed this peaceful destination since the early 1970's when it was run as Ben Brown's. It has undergone a serious makeover now called the The Ranch at Laguna Beach to include a fun 9-hole gold course, pro-shop, small resort and spa with overnight accommodations and of course The Harvest restaurant. There is an abundance of seating inside and outside on the deck which is where we dined with lovely views. All dishes from our party of (6) were thoroughly enjoyed. My significant criticism was the timeliness of our meal. First course was reasonably tardy perhaps 25-minutes from order for salads, however, our entrees took another 35-40 minutes to receive. It their defense they had a full-house but this is unacceptable. They acknowledged the wait blaming a slow kitchen. By time we got to desserts the restaurant had mostly emptied out although this did not help. We still waited a minimum of 20-minutes to receive (3) desserts. Not good. They must do better to keep my business.TravellorONE,Thank you for dining at Harvest. We can understand your disappointment and apologize for the amount of time it took to deliver the salads, entrees and desserts. Can you please reach out to me at [email protected] so we can discuss further? Sincerely,Sean and The Ranch LB Team

This poolside restaurant is. Located in Le Montage, a simply gorgeous hotel on the Pacific Coast. The view from anywhere on the property is fantastic. Three of us had the chopped salad with different proteins. All agreed they were very, very, nice. My wife had the swordfish sandwich, and she loved it. The bill, with tip, came to over $200. It is a splurge, but a lovely one. After your meal take a walk along the gardens along the top of the cliff. They are breathtaking.Dear Fletch1946,Thank you for choosing to dine at Mosaic Bar and Grille. I am thrilled to hear that you enjoyed our resort and your experience. I look forward to welcoming you back in the near future. Sincerely, Anne-Marie HoustonGeneral ManagerMontage Laguna Beach

Went there for Mother’s Day, food was okay, nothing to write home about. Ordered a couple Bloody Mary’s, tasted ok but were served in a low ball cocktail glass only filled little over half full! Had a prime rib sandwich, not much meat! The fillet beef flatbread was very good, it was an appetizers, not a huge menu to pick. The salmon was also very good, nice portion. Won’t be back!

But is you stop there for a drink, before going to eat in one of the fine restaurants in the area, you can have your enchantment, and keep you bankroll somewhat intact also. The piano players there at cocktail hour are excellent, and the views are staggering. EnjoyThank you for writing us a review and for complimenting our views - they truly are beautiful!
