13 of us went here for a special occasion. I ordered a Ceasar to drink and said please not spicy. Got the drink, it was so spicy i couldn't drink it, so I ordered another drink and told the waitress that it was way too spicy. I can't handle spicy drinks or food.I ordered the Mussels, which I use to always love there, I hadn't been there in about a year. The Garlic cream sauce was so thin it was like it was made from 2% milk and water. Faint hint of garlic and absolutely no salt or flavour. I added a ton of salt and that still didn't help.I totally didn't expect to be billed for the drink I couldn't drink, but sure enough, there it was on my bill! I won't be back.

Had a good business meal. The menu is interesting and has a good selection. Prices are reasonable. Food was nicely prepared and presented. Service was a little slow. Also not a fan of the lobby/restaurant combination. I recognize this is a hot trend in many hotels; just not a preference of mine.Thanks so much for visiting us for lunch! I went down, asked if it were possible to borrow some glasses, and the gal there was so accommodating and eager to help me out. Beautiful park, great golf course, and speaking of courses, this restaurant should be visited when in Mactaquac. More of a bar-room setting than a fancy eatery, this restaurant provides tasty meals served by a friendly attendant. Ambiance is relaxing and seating is comfortable.

I canât even say the service was bad. The service was non-existent. We sat for 20 minutes as servers ambled by. One server finally said, âDid you want anything?â I responded, âYes please. We havenât had any service....â and she was gone. She dropped off menus and never came by again. We finally left. Iâll be writing a formal review for publication but, for now, I advise against this establishment.

We stopped for lunch at Stuft Burger bar while in Fredericton and enjoyed a really good burger. Stuft Burger bar can be a bit of a challenge getting to but well worth it. They have amazing burgers and a large selection of burgers and toppings. Staff were super friendly and helpful. They also have a large menu of poutines. My favourite part about this restaurant when I used to live in Fredericton is their extensive craft beer list. I think they have like 20-25 different craft beers from across the province on tap? The Gahan Blueberry Ale being my recommended favourite! Overall a great place to go with some buddies on a Friday night and grab some craft brews! Service has always been down to earth when I've gone here and while I haven't tried much of their food, they do have REALLY good Nachos. Definitely would recommend this place to anyone visiting Fredericton.

Very enjoyable lunch break on the patio.Thought the jambalaya sounded interesting, especially with a Stella Artois. Waitress Pamela advised me that the chef was out of mussels but could replace with more shrimp. No disappointment....it was Very Good, with just the right degree of creole heat. Pamela was very efficient and friendly. I was on vacation visiting family in Fredericton when I was told about a Keto friendly bistro pub in downtown Fredericton. The 540 Kitchen is a wonderful eating experience whether you are on a Keto diet or not. The food is fresh, bright and full of flavour. We started with the steak tartare, dozen fresh oysters and the main was a perfectly cooked ribeye with vegetables. Even though Iâm sure fries would have been good, more veggies meant more steak.If you are looking for a nice place for dinner with friends or family you cannot miss with the 540 Kitchen. Our server Graig was pleasant and helped navigate the modest but tasty menu.

We arrived a 6 on a Tuesday with no reservation and were seated without problem in the bar area. Although there were no Lager or Pilsner on the menu, I managed to find a nice liquid appetizer.I started with the cesaar salad. Not exactly inspiring but it was a great size. The croutons were brutal and should be a little more artisan so it isn't so boring.I had the striploin with a surprise side of onion rings/strips. Very tasty and well presented. Ask for the onion rings as it's not on the menu but seems to be an additional side you can get for a $2 premium.The wine list was a tad sparse and I couldn'f find anything I red I even wanted to try.My dining companion had the ribs and said he loved them.Hi flingwing,Thank you very much for your review.
