Went for dinner.. We started out to order dinner waitress informed us there was not any crab legs, spaghetti, salmon or kids macaroni right off the bat . Ok then cool. So we sat a bit then ordered appetizers as I am looking around it says under new ownership ok then should not be out of anything I thought but hey it was sunday maybe busy weekend. No problem as I am looking around there is old nasty dust in windows and on blinds dead flies and bugs in general lots of windows surround so light comes shinning thru clean the damn windows gross try windex on them and for god sake dust . The ceiling was cake with webs dirt which could fall in your food. I was so disgusted I was noticing this while eating my bruschetta and started feeling grossed out. We had another app it was spinach dip it was gross bland just wrong . So i highly suggest if you are under new ownership close the doors and clean this place I do not recommend you dock here or go here waste of time until they clean the place up. I did not want to imagine kitchen if front was do gross and dirty.

The Fire Pitt

Fire Pitt is family owned and operated. We are a newer restaurant specializing in a Door County Fish Boil. We also offer many other home made meals as well. Our full bar allows you to have any type of drink that you desire but don't leave the kids at home

Went there for an early dinner on a Friday. The menu is limited, burgers, sandwiches, salads, pizza. I was hoping for ribs, which you can get as part of the fish boil, but for the all you can eat price for the boil, chicken and ribs, I wasn’t hungry enough to do the all you can eat fish boil. Had the grilled chicken sandwich, husband had pulled pork. They bring out three or four different bbq sauces so you can use as much or as little as you want. Everything was good and hot and the service was great! They also have a nice selection of “signature” drinks at very reasonable prices. The inside is nice, it’s an old building (I remember when it was The Brave Bull Steakhouse in the 70’s), it’s a combo sports bar, beer joint, restaurant. A lot of outside seating too. It was clean. I will definitely go back as there are only a handful of places in this area where you can get good food at a good price that isn’t fast food or greasy spoon. Worth trying if you are in the area.

This time we were a little disappointed. We arrived by boat for a weekday lunch because the food is good, service is cheerful and the view is even better. We had the warm corned beef sandwich with fries and it was excellent. Only complaint is the maintenance. There is some peeling paint--no reason for that not to be cared for prior to Memorial Day.And, there was a little paper trash on the patio, no covers on the trash bins and the plastic chairs on the deck had some mildew--no reason for that not to be cared for.Hopefully, by the next time we visit, this great place will kick it up a notch and take care of those things.

We stopped here for Bloody Mary’s and some snacks before taking the ferry to Blarney Island. The Bloody Mary’s were good, but my potato skins were so well done, they were like eating fried cardboard or something. I would not recommend them.Service was good, but it was not crowded at all because of the extreme heat and no-wake rule. I don’t know how it would be if it was packed.I wouldn’t have minded spending more time here, but our main goal was to go to Blarney Island.

We were warmly greeted and were looking forward to a chophouse experience. The staff could not have been nicer but my husband's ribeye steak was inedible. My tenderloin was good but not great. Our waiter promptly addressed my husband's steak and ultimately took it off the bill. Even the management could see the quality wasn't there. We were with another couple at their recommendation and hated to mention anything. We would probably go back because the staff was so nice but would not order steak.

Located in the heart of Main St, this is a small but very popular place. Somewhat reminiscent of a Wisconsin back woods lodge, the decor is chock full of interesting pictures, Bear skins, painted saws and baseball memorabilia. There’s a large full service bar. The food is average; my Monterey Chicken Sandwich was good but my husband’s Cod dinner was tasteless, although he said the potato pancakes were ok. Portions are generous. Parking is in the back and there is very limited street parking. There was a visiting table magician Dylan, and he was quite good. Thanks for leaving us a review, Calmac3. We appreciate all your feedback-good and bad- because we will use the information to continue to improve our guests’ experiences! Hopefully we will have the pleasure of serving you again soon.

Anastasia's Restaurant

I visit family once a year and look forward to eating at Anastasia's, this year was a disappointment. Usually mouth watering pizza, this time was sub par, crust was thick and cakey, lacked toppings and overall not good. Thinking just a bad night, returned for dinner, service was good, but requested a substitution from a regular reuban to a turkey reuban, the slight upcharge was $4.00! It was good but not at a price of $13.98, after all turkey is a lessor cost than corned beef, the substitution should not have been more than a buck if at all. Sadly, I will be trying a new place next year, family who lives here disappointed also.

Yesterday we were out on a family excursion, no plans to go to the bar/restaurant. When we realized that there was a fast moving storm approaching we decided to park the boat and take refuge at Blarneys. We had our Dog with us and I was, as you could expect, FREAKING OUT. I was afraid they wouldn’t let us stay because Sammie was with us. Olivia quickly calmed me down and assured me that they would never turn anyone away in a situation like that. I will forever remember the kindness and compassion of Olivia and all the waitstaff/bartenders. We ended up spending a few hours there and it was sooo fun. Music, food, even gift shop. I will be back for sure! Thanks Olivia and all the staff that made an effort to stop and say hello. You made my day! She is our biggest baby.

When we first started going to Wings several years ago, we were wowed by the size of the burgers and baron grilled chicken sandwich. The last couple of visits, the size of both seem smaller, although the price has increased. They are both now just average. The baron had 2 pieces of bacon that were curled up in the center, a sprinking of shredded cheese, 1 mushroom slice and 2 tomato slices about the size of a half dollar. We were really sorry to see this as Wings had been one of our favorite spots.
