After a day on Kapiti island we took here for the second consecutive day our dinner.Delicious and authentic, what a tasty and balanced flavours. We choose fish cakes, Cambodian stir fried noodles, Spicy seafood coconut curry, Beef rice noodle soupe and Banana coconut sago. All dishes were extremely nice and tasty. The service is very friendly and efficient, for good prepared food it is no problem at all to wait 20 minutes.We strongly recommend this restaurant. My wife is South East Asian, she found the food here authentic and more than excellent! A real pleasure for Asian food lovers.

China Beach offers dine in or take away option and the prices seem inexpensive. On this day we just wanted vegetarian options and we found some good choices here, having just arrived in town. We had a main course size of vegetables and rice and this fed us both.

Tasty Thai curries that were not too hot, but really tasty.Whole cooked fish was also tasty and intentionally more spicy hot.Service was adequate and friendly but slow. Prepared to cut some slack considering it was Monday night (when many eateries are closed on the coast) so prepared to accept slower service response.

We went here for Sunday lunch and it was great. We had young children with us so sat in the âkids areaâ which has a good selection of toys for little ones. They normally have a bouncy castle up outside on a Sunday but the staff advised us it was not up as it was forecast to rain. The menu had a great selection of food and the service was friendly and very helpful. Kids meals were a generous size as were the adult meals. Being a local I will be visiting again.

Branched out and tried a different Thai restaurant and was so glad we did.Beautifully present food that tasted great!! A bit on the mild side but it takes a couple of visits sometimes to work out "hot" between different Thai restaurants. Will definitely be back.

A regular venue of ours whenever we visit the Kapiti Coast. Certainly the best Indian Restaurant by far in the area. We have probably tried every dish on the menu by now and have never been disappointed. Keep on the good work..!

Although we are frequent visitors to the Kapiti Coast, this was one of the few restaurants we had never visited. What a shame..! We obviously missed out on many great meals over the last few years..!Everything was perfect, from the heat level chosen for each dish to the presentation and service. Thai Lagoon will now be a regular venue to visit whenever we are down south.

This is the Only Indian Eatery we visit... Really, they are That Good!Prompt, polite, helpful & funny. Very accommodating Staff Food is out if this world, extensive menu means you will always find another Lovely item that you did not try yet. Faultless execution, excellent appearance & Divine really does describe the flavour palette. Personal preferences quickly & easily catered for.
