Tasty Thai style food, good selection of meat, fish, and vege options.
Very busy on Saturday nights, would pay to book as several turned away (this is a good sign).
Friendly service and the chefs busy in the kitchen meant timely Delivery of food.
Something to suit all palates if you like Thai food!!

We have regular takeaways and we love your food :) HOWEVER last Saturday night the Butter Chicken had 5 pieces of meat in a huge amount of sauce ! Luckily the other dish we ordered had enough meat to share.
Come on Rangoli you can do better than this we know it :-)

We have frequently visited this restaurant over the last 5 years. What has happened to it? We chose to go here for a 70th birthday celebration. The menu seems to have shrunk to just a photocopied piece of paper. No specials on offer. Where were the lovely big menus? The food was nowhere near the standard it used to be. Mine was as if it had been taken out of the freezer, put in the microwave to thaw and then under the grill to brown it off. The other dish was as if the chef could not be bothered to chop the squid so it was tough. There were only two wait staff and one was constantly distracted by standing in the kitchen doorway chatting to the chefs. Mind you they did not need more than two as only five tables were used. Most unusual as this restaurant is normally packed. Is this a sgn of its present standard? Annemarie was not there overseeing and so perhaps their guard was let down. We were at La Bella Italia in Petone at the weekend and the food and service was of a much higher standard. Suggest the staff try it out and learn. Complacency has stepped in here.

A relaxed atmosphere for family and friends groupings. Good quality ingredients presented really well. Range of food to meet tastes of all the family.
Great selection of cocktails especially the made for beach summer “dark and stormy “!
Relaxed but attentive waiter/waitress results in a great brunch or dinner experience- we did both to celebrate a recent birthday with friends and then family.

Partner and I went for brunch. Like their menu. Its very vegetarian friendly. The breakfast burrito was delicious. I had the brekkie burger. Bacon, egg, avocado, hashbrown on a toasted bun. I ordered it without the Hollandaise, which I got anyway, but the replacement meal came very quickly with a huge apology about the communication breakdown.
It was so yummy I wouldnt hold that against them.
The service was very good.
Only thing we found was it was a bit hard to hear across the table. Given the cafe wasnt full it must have bad acoustics.
Outside area great for cyclists, and dogs.

Came here for a light lunch. The place was very busy and tables in the shade were at a premium. The food was very good, the staff very friendly and efficient. We sat in the back courtyard, were never hassled to hurry up and generally had a very pleasant time.

My siblings and I took Mum for her birthday and could not fault the service, food or atmosphere. Absolutely stunning.
The chilli garlic prawns were fresh and so tasty. Mains amongst the group covered the entire menu practically and every meal was delicious and without fault.
Well done team on a very memorable evening for us all.

First impression of the cafe is one of 'run-down rustic'. The split in some of the stool tops was a bit off-putting. The parches of carpet on the ceiling is probably 'love it or hate it'.
Having said that, we found the staff to be very friendly, and the service to be excellent We had coffee and a scone (slightly dry), and a good chocolate brownie.

Mostly I review this place for its fresh and delectable fish and chips cooked on the premises.
I go to this store just about every week to buy fresh fish that I take home and cook myself. They usually have both Dory and Groper, both of which I love. Their prices are reasonable and the fish is always excellent quality.
A fresh and healthy alternative.
