Welcome to Mugg & Bean Village Market, Nairobi. In the spirit of generosity, Mugg and Bean keeps giving you more and more.
This is a really nice place. Spacious with indoor and outdoor seating. Though part of a chain it has its own character here amid many eating places.Their designed coffees were interesting. Their medicinal tea called dawa chai is with ginger and lemon with no milk. Served hot in a large cup.Prompt and unobtrusive service.

Haandi specialises in North Indian Frontier cuisine and true to the spirit of the original concept, the masalas are freshly-prepared daily, all the dishes are cooked to order and absolutely everything you eat is created on the premises. Our trademark glas
You can't normally go wrong with Indian cuisine in Nairobi. Unfortunately Haandi is on the lower end of the spectrum. Open house, hashmi and chowpatty all offer more flavor for your buck. Haandis upscale modern decor of course gives it bonus points, but it just isn't worth it given the other available options at your disposal around the corner.

Great place for a wedding, nicely laid out and very attractive. Service was good courteous staff, tasty treats, we had small bites not a meal but many folks were eating, well 'attended' a large facility. Has a children's play area.

I normally visit the Galaria and Village market outlets and have always appreciated the food. Their tandoori cousin is a speciality and curry is also nice. I love the outdoor sitting at both the places with a good variety of alcoholic drinks that compliments the menu.

We visited Furusato after a long hiatus, since moving from Westlands. We arrived at 12:30 on a Saturday and were surprised to find the teams still cleaning, even the restaurant was open.Nevertheless, we settled on window table in the main dining room and ordered our sushi. What I have always liked about Furusato are the many options. It's not unusual for us to order prawn tempura, fried rice and then our sushi boat. I appreciate the appetizer salad served at the start of the meal. Service is prompt and efficient. The restaurant filled up quickly, which is a testament to the quality of food. Prices are also a bit steep but for the quality of fish used in the sushi, very fair.Furusato is not a typical Japanese restaurant and has a significant number or Korean dishes on offer. The main dining hall and type of service is a bit dated though.Overall a reliable dining option.

Hashmi is the staple for us for a quick tasty fix to feed unexpected guests. A few boxes of mixed grill, piripiri chips and salad are always satisfying. The mixed grill has tikka chicken, lamb chops, kebabs and beef cubes. The spice level is tantalizingly perfect. I actually prefer takeaway, to eat in the comfort of home with my favorite boozy drink, since the restaurant doesn't serve. To avoid sounding like a broken record, I promise to change my order for my next visit.

The atmosphere is not very inviting for a dinner place. Music is to loud to allow a conversation at the dining table. The Menu looks exciting, but what you find at your plate is not very special. The Sirloin Steak about 120 grams for 22 USD with a very small salad, will let you leave the place hungry, even if you are not a big eater.
