Located in Syokimau area near Jomo Kenyatta International Airport , this iconic hotel is within a walking distance to Gateway Mall shopping Centre Mombasa Road. It has convenient access to Syokimau Railway Station. The hotel's proximity to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and and other business centres makes it an excellent place to stay, host businesses and private meetings.

Reviewed By bettyo910The nightmare that is Mombasa road led me to book a room in this hotel as it is very close to the airport. At the SGR station, taxi/uber drivers don’t want to go to this hotel as the access road is horrendous and if they do, very expensive. Rooms are ok. Food very expensive - had breakfast one day of tea and slices of sweet potatoes and arrow roots and paid 500/- . Opted to eat out. The staff are very friendly and helpful. My favourite feature was the shower! Absolutely loved it.

Beware of bait-and-switch pricing
Reviewed By David MWe booked through their webpage and received an email confirmation but then Lillian asked for more. The total price was reasonable but I didn't appreciate the bait-and-switch. After trying to reason with her for too long, we gave up and went to another hotel.

Muy nuevo y limpio, los desayunos excelentes con unas somosas hechas por ella, extraordinarias. Te recibe con un té keniata increíble y un smoothie riquísimo. Estuvimos dos noches, la de llegada a Nairobi y la de salida, nos guardó el equipaje mientras estuvimos de safari para no tener que ir cargados. Además, el último día nos guardó el equipaje hasta la salida de nuestro avión (10 pm), mientras nos dimos una vuelta por Nairobi, acompañándonos hasta el bus local (matatu), toda una experiencia por la musica keniata y la marcha que se vive a bordo. A nuestro regreso del centro de Nairobi nos recibió con una buena taza de té y nos pudimos cambiar allí antes de regresar a España. Está muy cerquita del aeropuerto y ella se encarga de pedir el uber que lleva al aeropuerto por muy poco coste. Sin duda alguna regresaré si vuelvo a Kenia. Gracias Mary

A nice place to stay when going to/from the airport
Reviewed By SkyferretWe stayed here at the beginning and the end of our Kenyan safari and it was perfect! The family welcomed us when we arrived very very early in the morning and then gave us a transfer back to the airport 2 weeks later very very late at night! The family is so nice and welcoming and lovely and clearly love having guests. The room is also great with a fantastic shower! The 2 downsides were that the breakfast provided was not very good at all and the roads to the homestay are really terrible. We didn't have any other troubles though and the whole experience more than made up for these 2 niggles.

A fantastic start to my trip
Reviewed By TravelAndTheatreHad a wonderful first night in Kenya at Kevin’s homestay. With airport pick-up, simple but good food & plenty of help from Kevin for the rest of my trip - it was a safe, enjoyable and very helpful first night. Pre-arranged pick-up at JKIA (made easier to meet through WhatsApp at the airport) was smooth and friendly ride back to the Homestay. The room was a comfy double with a good mosquito net and plenty of wardrobe space. Separate bathroom with, what turned out to be, some of the most reliable hot water of my trip! Breakfast was a standard fruit, fruit juice, tea /(instant coffee) & bread/toast. But what really made this such a remarkable stay - and I really have remarked time and again to friends - was Kevin’s friendly help and assistance. I ran my plans for the next few days past him and he helped me a research a couple of things I hadn’t sorted, he called ahead to my next accommodation and generally gave me so much peace of mind. Given I was travelling during some especially uncertain days in Kenya, that local knowledge was invaluable and he was a generous and reliable source! He even, very kindly, drove me in to Nairobi the next day, helped me find the right matatu and gave me a mini-tour of the city in the process! The accommodation was clean, good and simple, but everything I needed; the service was beyond 5*.

Easy Airport Homestay is located in the quite and serene leafy suburbs of Jomo Kenyatta International Airport Nairobi - off Syokimau Airport Road. It is about 10 minutes drive from JKIA airport, and 7 minutes drive from SGR railway station. The Easy JKIA Home Stay is near Gateway Mall which has multiple shopping outlets, stores and banks. Easy Hotel Kenya Restaurant is within the premises.

A Bit of a Surprise.

We felt a little uneasy displacing the family, but they were a terrific family and they made us feel so welcome and looked after us well.. A little out of the way from most services but handily, very close to the Nairobi airport, which assisted our early departure. An interesting and rewarding experience. .
