Everyone has their favorite, this is mine.What's different? In it's in an almost abandoned mall, so it's never busy. Service is efficient and friendly. Your food is served perfectly hot and to your exact specifications, no room for error here folks. The large windows allow you to enjoy the quiet tranquility of Rosslyn, giving you a welcome respite to the chaos of life.

As a mexican living in Nairobi I'm always happy to come to Mercado for food that tastes like home. I would definitely recommend mercado for those who want to discover mexican food or for those that are in search of a good taco. The Java Houses throughout Kenya are, everyone I have been to, excellent places to get a lunch, coffee or inexpensive dinner. Good soups, salads and sandwiches. The fresh brewed cup of coffee is the best in Kenya. I have had my worst experience yet here. Service was really slow and there appeared to be only one member of staff serving customers. The food was not really good. I have had better, still at Java. This specific restaurant has to improve.

Fonda has an excellent selection of flavored margaritas, served on the rocks, blended or frozen. My personal favorite? Maracuya. Can't beat the tangy, sour taste.Be careful, they have a kick!
