In my continuing search for Asian restaurants my wife and I visited this location. We were very satisfied.PROS: Decent prices. Excellent food. The sushi sashimi combination was excellent with the fish slices quite generous and fresh. Locale quite pleasant and very clean (check out the bathrooms, as I always do). CONS: Difficult location to find, in the back of a small shopping center with very difficult entrance/exit. Staff a bit unfriendly.Would go again.

I visited the Rolling Spring Roll recently. It is located off Jericho Tpk in a strip mall. It is a very clean restaurant. The prices are very affordable. We had 4 spring rolls and two medium pho soups for $31. The service was excellent. It was our first time and he explained all the dishes and how to add each ingredient to the soup. The spring rolls were excellent and not greasy at all. The Pho soup was fantastic, very fresh and a huge portion. It was a pleasure to take home the leftover. We will definitely return.

Nice Thai restaurant in an open shopping center. Glass front doesn't particularly stand out but the inside with high ceilings and modern decor is attractive and elegant. There is a front section with seating and a colorfully lit bar, and the dining room behind two sides tall frosted glass partitions. Around 6 on a weekday it wasn't too busy, just a few occupied tables. Spacing quite good, center tables set at angles provide more private space. The menu a bit disappointing in that I couldn't find any of the Thai dishes I was hoping for, like fried fish or shrimp cakes, or minced chicken salads, overall felt more like an Asian restaurant menu rather than a Thai one. Anyway we had the spring rolls, which were pretty good, small in size (preferable to big and coarse ones), a garlic vegetable stirfry which for some reason we thought was a veggie pad Thai but turned out to be just veggies with rice, and dumplings, which were what would be called siumai in Chinese restaurants, quite tasty. The one thing I was very happy about was the dessert menu, which surprisingly had quite a few Thai and Asian desserts, in particular the coconut rice cakes I was hoping for, served warm and delicious (comes in four mini dishes good for sharing). Would have ordered the fried bananas too except I wasn't sure about them being wrapped in wonton skin. Taro pudding also sounded interesting. If you like Thai/Asian desserts instead of the usual perfunctory ice cream offering definitely check this place out.

I worry when the first impression is meh- and the second (and third) are worse. I have enjoyed delicious food before at this nice, casual storefront before. On a recent Saturday night visit the room had only 3 tables occupied (& 1 at the sushi bar) The wall by my table had paper specials taped to it-- "June special" "4th of July roll!" "October.."The carpet to the restroom was embarrassingly stained. The walls on said hallway maybe can be resurrected with a good scrubbing-- if not paint? On tonight's occasion we choose cooked food over raw. Our dinner was very good.

I don’t believe I have ever visited a more ornate, lushly decorated Chinese restaurant in all my years— really quite something. We wisely chose an early sitting for our Saturday night outing and a good thing we did – – within 10 minutes of our sitting down, the place was packed and cars lined around the place. Plan wisely, or make reservations. The menu was filled with traditional Chinese restaurant offerings with a few house specials thrown in. For the most part, the prices were a little on the high side however the portions were quite large— overall a washThe food was fresh, well presented and very tasty. Something as simple as the pork steamed dumplings were done exceptionally. As a group, we tried the beef and broccoli, lamb with scallions, Kung pow chicken, the chicken fried rice and the pork chow fun. With no exception, everyone really enjoyed their meal and had enough to take home for at least an entire additional meal. The staff was ever present, efficient and seasoned. Would highly recommend

Orient Odyssey has a new fresh start since management/ownership has changed. No more Tommy Tan but he has movedback to his original Orient Bethpage. His customers valued his opinions which he was key in establishing clientele. He often helped suggest different entrees to many new people needing guidance in selecting tasty Chinese dishes. Over here in Orient Odyssey is now popular and packed on the weekends with their many delicious selections of dim sum. A true experience for any novice but for people in the know, no need to drive out as far as Little Neck or Flushing to get authentic dim sum. Yes of course you will pay a little more than Flushing but there's parking outside which is a plus compare to how hard it is to get parking in Flushing or Little Neck. From the many faces of happy patrons devouring yummy Chinese food, this restaurant is worth coming! Happy Eating and I'll see you around the tables when I get my crave for dim sum and don't want to drive so far! See you on the weekends for what I call Chinese Brunch:-)Delish!

a group of 4 of us stopped by on a cold night for dinner. Parking is on the street. We were lucky to find parking close by. It is a very small restaurant. It only seats around 30 people. We squeezed into our tables and enjoyed some beer. The spring rolls were quite tasty. The samosa chaat was a little too bland. The soups were great - hot and spicy. We shared the fried rice, the vegetable Manchurian and chili panner. The food was good. The panner was salty but we were able to get it replaced. Our friend had the goat achari which was pretty good. The service was just okay - the waiter was neither friendly nor prompt. But the food was good and we would try it again if we are in the area.
