My friend and I had breakfast for lunch here. We ordered eggs, potatoes, bacon, fruit, toast, coffee, juice. Service was good, average. NO menu subs or special orders..everything cost extra. Tiny little place.Thanks for your feedback Peg! Substitutes for like items can be made (i.e bread for bread/meat for meat etc) to keep pricing consistent. We hope to see you again soon!

Arrived early evening on a Saturday to the surprise of no other cars in the parking lot. Wasn't sure it was open. Stuck head in door and was nice, attractive place so decided to give it a try. Excited to hear they had an Apple Balsamic dressing and used it on my salad. Tasted a little off as well as the mixed veggies which were very fresh. My wife who is an excellent cook in her own right suggested when she tried the dressing and veggies that the oil appeared to be a little rancid. Should have said something but the taste did not bother me that much. The schnitzel was good and her mahi mahi was very fresh and good as well. The only that surprised us with the entrees was they lacked any real seasoning. Would have given it much higher review if the dressing and oil the veggies were cooked in had been fresher as well. Our server was wonderful and kept very close tabs on us.

We love to go there because they have something for everyone. I specifically go there for their Chicago Footlong, because they are the only place that does them right. My wife can always get whatever she wants and we round our feast out with fries, green tomoatos or fried ocra. I saw someone get the curly fries and had to order them. Kind of a curly cross between fries and chips. RJ suggested cheese on the side and that did it for us. Now we have one more reason to come, like we didn't already have enough with the dogs, sandwiches, wings, poutine and all the expected country sides. When they say they have the best sweet tea in the south, they may be pushing just a bit, but when you are at the top of the tea game in the south, best, second best doesn't really have much room between in my book. It's goooood and refills are happily provided. RJ, August, and Gavin made our visit today a treat. Helps that some of the friendliest people in area are eating there, so you can always make a new friend. Motorcycling through the area? This stop is a natural and you can even grab a beer.

We almost did not eat here. The smell of cigarettes at the front door was not pleasant. Stopped in for breakfast. First time here. We stopped in for breakfast. The rest. is rather on the small size. Tables seem close together. But, we all managed. Service was good. Our breakfast also was good. The prices are fair. We will return for lunch, & dinner in the future. A rest. where the locals go. Recommend, will return.

Well where to start, I am from the Mid-Hudson region in New York, so I can compare the one close to my home and this one. The pricing is very good, the food and staff were excellent. This is no comparison between this one and the one near my home town. Thank you very much Zephyrhills Golden Corral I almost lost faith in the Golden Corral chain. Maybe the Corporation should send the staff from here to the Poughkeepsie store! Your 5-star review just made our day! This restaurant was not my choice but we decided to let our friends choose where to have their 49th wedding anniversary dinner. They ordered Fish & Chips and we ordered a Hot Beef plate. It was absolutely wonderful! Portion size was more than adequate and the cost for a dinner was under $12. MOST ASSUREDLY we will be back!
